Hagerstown, Maryland, United States
Thank you for visiting

every car we sell, keep in mind that I'm Not a mechanic, I'll do my best to
give you the accurate and honest description to the best of my knowledge.
Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms &
Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An
administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 SAAB 9-3 SE CONVERTABLE. The SAAB is in good used condition. I would rate the exterior of this SAAB to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. On this specific vehicle: there is no external damage to disclose. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. Please take your time and check out each of the photos closely. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels look great. I would rate the interior of this Blazer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior looks good. The driver's seat is a little worn out. The carpets show well for an older car. The power windows, locks and mirrors work properly. The stereo system powers up and sounds good. The climate control is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The roof works fine, but sometimes slows down on way up and you'll just have to pull once manually for it to completely close. Mechanically, this SAAB appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L Turbo engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure, too. The engine makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Fly in drive home. This vehicle can be delivered to Harrisburg Airport / Hagerstown Airport / BWI for an extra charge. Please call for details. Alex 717-401-0939 WARRANTY: This vehicle is being

Saab's Victor Muller wanted to nix Griffin, return to airplane emblem
Tue, 09 Oct 2012According to Just-Auto.com Victor Muller wasn't a fan of the Saab Griffin logo. The executive was quoted as saying he wanted to "abolish" the Griffin logo and return to the airplane emblem. Muller made it clear that if he'd had his way, the propeller would have replaced the Griffin across the Saab lineup long ago.
National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the company that recently bought Saab, was forced to abandon the Griffin logo due to the fact that the emblem is still used by truck manufacturer Scania. The manufacturer is reportedly concerned about potential Chinese counterfeiting - NEVS is owned by Youngman, a Chinese automaker - though it's unclear how that relationship would lead to illegal copies.
Either way, NEVS has said the loss of the Griffin logo isn't that important to the company so long as it can continue to build on the Saab name. Muller, meanwhile, said he wishes NEVS luck in the company's electric-vehicle endeavor, but that he doesn't understand its new business model.
NEV deal to buy Saab delayed
Fri, 03 Aug 2012Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.
Rally legend Erik Carlsson dies at 86
Wed, May 27 2015The motorsports world has lost a legend with the passing of famous rally driver Erik Carlsson at the age of 86. If you've ever seen a photo of a vintage Saab sliding around a corner or blasting through tree-lined roads, there was a good chance that Carlsson was behind the wheel. The man was so tied to the Swedish auto brand that he earned the nickname Mr. Saab. Carlsson experienced his greatest competition success in the late '50s and early '60s when he scored victories in premier events like the Monte Carlo Rally (pictured above). Among his more impressive performances were consecutive wins in '60, '61, and '62 Britain's RAC Rally. His three-cylinder, 750cc Saab 96 wasn't insanely powerful, but Carlsson made it a monster in the world of rallying. In 2010, Saab named a special edition 9-3 after him and honored his victory at the RAC Club in London. Beyond being impressive behind the wheel of a rally car and a longtime Saab brand ambassador, the driver had a habit of rolling his car during competition to earn the moniker "Carlsson On The Roof." According to Classic and Sports Car, he also wrote the book The Art and Technique of Driving that detailed his left-foot braking method, and it was co-authored with his wife, fellow racing driver Pat Moss. Our condolences go out to Carlsson's friends and family.
