This vehicle is consignment from previous owner. Previous owner is on assignment oversea now. His original contract was for a year but just extended for 3 years recently. He decided to sell his beloved wagon which was in the storage for over a year since he left country.  We got the key from the owner and brought the car out from storage. just cleaned up. and put up on ebay.

The car has Aero trim level with Touring package (Xenon headlights, Parking sensor, Harmon Kardon Audio system, Electric auto-dimming rear view mirror with HOMELINK garage opener) and rare manual transmission. Black Exterior with Black Interior. Aero trim specific 'darth vader' Sports front seats as well as rear heated seats.

Mechanical: Cars runs & drives. We only drove short distance up & down the trailer and cleaning shop. It has ABS/BRAKE/ESP warning lights on after push the brake pedal. Saab scanner tells us ESP (ABS) module pressure switch has intermittent failure. The car's owner doesn't want us to fix it since it's on consignment. Brakes rotor has rust due to sitting on the storage for over a year. We did oil change with Mobile 1 0w-40 synthetic oil. the owner did oil change with synthetic every 5K miles as well. Exhaust has some leak from flex pipe. might need engine damper mount & transmission mount in near future (Common problem with saabs). vehicle was running over an hour as idle after changed the oil. No over heating or check engine light was shown. No smoking when starts up. Due to ABS/ESP pressure sensor error, we didn't take out the car for the test drive. Sensor itself is not too expensive but labor (since brake lines has to be blended) was expected to be 3~4 hours. therefore, owner decided not to fix it. currently brakes are working fine on short drive. If you're handy man, you can change ABS/ESP module cheaply and you gonna have nice rare aero manual wagon with low miles!

Interior: Clean. No tear or wear marks on the leather seats. As most of saab does, there're missing pixels on SID (Saab information display panel). We have 1 combo key (Key+remote) in hand.

Body: No rust spots or major scratches. There're some scuff marks on the bumper. few small dents around the car but no paint damages. No paint work on any panels. Surprisingly (Unlike any other used saab) , Front xenon headlight has no foggy spots.

Tires: 225/45/17  4 tires are matching but about 40% tread left.

Koenigsegg plans a ‘CO2 neutral’ hybrid supercar

Fri, Feb 1 2019

Fresh from receiving a 150 million-euro infusion from National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the Chinese-backed company that bought up Saab's assets out of bankruptcy, supercar maker Koenigsegg has signaled just what it plans to do under the new joint venture. Christian von Koenigsegg gave an interview to Top Gear in which he said he wants to develop an all-new supercar to sit below ultra-exclusive models like the Agera RS and Regera, priced at around ˆ1 million (about $1.15 million) to grow sales from 20 a year into the hundreds, because "our brand has outgrown our production volumes by quite a big margin." And it will feature a novel, "completely CO2 neutral" hybrid powrtrain using the "freevalve" camless combustion engine technology the company has been developing in concert with battery-electric power. "Given the freevalve technology, we can actually cold-start the car on pure alcohol, down to -30 degrees Celsius, so there's no need for any fossil fuel mix then," he told Top Gear. "The idea is to prove to the world that even a combustion engine can be completely CO2 neutral." Von Koenigsegg previously hinted at the setup after talking about how his engineers were responding to Tesla's claims that its forthcoming next-generation Roadster would be capable of a 1.9-second 0-60 mph time. He further hints that the new hybridized supercar will look unmistakably like a Keonigsegg but be in a different segment altogether from either the Agera RS or plug-in hybrid Regera. Consider us very much intrigued and eager to hear more. Meanwhile, Koenigsegg has said it plans to reveal the successor to the Agera RS next month at the Geneva Motor Show based on a refined version of the same supercharged V8 combustion engine. The new joint venture with NEVS, meanwhile, sees that company take a 65 percent ownership stake, with Koenigsegg holding the rest and contributing its trove of intellectual property, technology licenses and product design. NEVS also gets a 20 percent stake in Koenigsegg itself. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. GM wins appeal, dismissal of $3B Saab-related Spyker suit

Sun, Oct 26 2014

It's been a long time since we last heard of the legal battles between Spyker CEO Victor Muller and General Motors, the automaker from which Muller's company purchased the embattled Saab brand back in 2010. To refresh your memories, after struggling through 2011 and entering into bankruptcy, Spyker attempted to save the Saab brand by selling it to a Chinese consortium. General Motors, though, blocked the sale because it did not want any of its intellectual property, of which Saab was in possession of from its days under the GM umbrella, in the hands of a potential rival automaker. Spyker then sued GM for intentionally blocking what it said was Saab's only chance of survival. The $3-billion suit was dismissed after a judge ruled in favor of GM, which apparently had granted a license to Saab to continue building cars using its technologies, but reserved the right to cancel that agreement if Saab again changed hands. Spyker appealed, and, according to Reuters, the appeals court upheld the previous ruling, again siding with GM. National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the company that eventually purchased Saab out of bankruptcy, managed to restart production for a short period before itself falling into financial trouble. We have at least another month to wait before hearing how Saab's next chapter may read.

Saab begins 9-3 EV pilot production

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

To say that Saab has had a tough time lately would be like saying that it's been a little colder than usual this winter. After General Motors finally gave up and sold it to Spyker in 2010, Saab declared bankruptcy the following year. GM successfully blocked Spyker from selling Saab to Chinese automaker Youngman the following year, but ultimately it ended up in the hands of another Chinese consortium called NEVS. Standing as it does for National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the new owners promised not only to restart production of the long-suffering 9-3, but also to turn it into an electric vehicle. And that's just what it's doing.
The latest news coming out of Sweden indicates that NEVS/Saab has started building the first examples of the 9-3 EV. These first 200 or so examples are set to be shipped off to Qingdao - the Chinese city that is home to the Tsingtao brewery, hosted the sailing components of the 2008 summer games on Beijing, was supposed to host an IndyCar race in 2012 before it was canceled, and also itself just happens to own 22 percent of NEVS.
These first EVs have their batteries mounted down low in the chassis for a low center of gravity and have a range of about 20 miles on a full charge. That's absolutely paltry compared to the other EVs on the market: a Nissan Leaf will travel more than four times that distance, and a Tesla Model S will go ten times farther on a charge.
