To the highest bidder goes my 2001 Saab 95 2.3T wagon. Fully loaded with tan leather interior. NO RESERVE.
The GOOD: 2 owner car. I've owned the car since 2004/2005. I have all paperwork of this well maintained car since 2005. This car had GMs extended bumper to bumper warranty until 2009. Low mileage only 99,500. Transmission smooth. Air blow cold, heat blows hot. Radio/speakers/Cassette all good. All lights inside and out working. Interior in great shape. No rips or tears on leather. Car has New General ArtixMax tires (less than 4000 miles). Also new brakes.
The BAD: This car has an engine problem that needs to be fixed. It currently runs but there is a clicking noise coming from the engine and the clicking noise speed increases as you rev the engine. Recently while driving the Saab the dash warning system light has started to go on and off. Therefore I stopped driving it. I am now selling as I have bought a new Mercedes and no longer need. Other issues I know is the Cd Player has a CD stuck in it and Driver side front window switch does not work. Handle cover for the back hatch is missing.
I can have the car towed to Denver area via AAA for free, or you can pick up or ship from Avon, CO 81620 at your cost.
Car is being sold AS IS, I have described it best I can. If you are able to fix the engine, this will be a great car for you.
NO RESERVE auction to the highest bidder. CAR is being sold in local newspaper for $3000. I reserve the right to cancel this auction if a local buyer steps forward and buys the car.

NEV deal to buy Saab delayed
Fri, 03 Aug 2012Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.
1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen is a Swede worth remembering on MotorWeek
Sun, Aug 30 2015Today, Saab survives in name only after a protracted series of bankruptcies and attempted comebacks with new owners. At the turn of the millennium, however, the brand was still able to make some great cars, though. MotorWeek is showing off one of its very best in this vintage review for the 1999 9-3 Viggen. The jet-inspired Viggen was the pinnacle of everything Saab's engineers could do at the time. Starting with the standard 9-3, the suspension was hunkered down to improve handling and lower bodywork was added for better aerodynamics. Now that the exterior looked the part, the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder was tweaked to make 225 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. While that output may not sound hugely impressive by modern standards, those were strong numbers in the day, and the following model year made even more power. After some time behind the wheel of the VIggen, MotorWeek came away quite impressed with this Swede. While the Viggen might not have offered the full capability of high-performance, European contemporaries like the BMW M3, Saab really showed its strengths with this model.
New owners still struggling to secure rights to use Saab name
Wed, 27 Jun 2012Not to state the obvious, but if you're going to buy an automaker, it's probably advisable to secure rights to use the name.
That's what the new owners of Saab are trying to work out after buying the iconic Swedish automaker earlier this month, Automotive News reports.
National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), the Chinese-Japanese conglomerate, acquired the company's physical assets, including its factory in Trollhättan, but didn't get rights to use the Saab name and logo. Truckmaker Scania and defense company Saab AB maintain the name and logo rights, and will need to sign off on NEVS using it, according to the publication. The parties are in discussions.
