Sunroof 2.0 Sport Rare Red Saab Turbo Loaded Sedan Four Door on 2040-cars
Elkhart, Indiana, United States
2003 Saab 9-3 Linear 2.0T Sport Edition Sport Red (rare color for this make/model) Clean Title 126,9xx miles Four Door; Automatic Transmission; Turbo Charged (Gas-saver) Gray Leather/Heated Seats Premium Sound system; CD Player/Radio with Ipod/Iphone hook up Premium Sport Edition Saab Alloy Wheels (17's) Great Tires Power windows/locks Power Driver's seat Traction Control Cruise Control White/Light Blue Xenon Headlights Fog Lights Dual Climate Control A/C Ice Cold Heat works great New Brakes Regularly Serviced Newer Battery Attention all car enthusiasts. This Saab is a rare find. This car is super clean, inside and out (the leather literally looks brand new), and has also been meticulously maintained, and stored only in a garage. This is the ultimate winter and summer car that has a ton of life left! These cars are known to go over $300,000 miles. We are getting rid of it because of our growing family (and the need for a larger vehicle which we have already purchased). The 2.0 liter turbo charged engine gives plenty of power (shifts nicely) with excellent gas mileage (over 30 MPG on the highway). Because of how clean this car is along with the classic sport body style, people don't believe this car is a 2003. 126,9xx miles (lot of highway miles). No signs of rust! We don't regret choosing this car over a BMW or Audi. And you won't either. Great trunk space! You won't find a better looking, more reliable (and practical) car for under $5,500. We are asking only $5,499 because this car has a few VERY minor issues (nothing major). The gas gauge does not work. We paid a certified mechanic to diagnose this issue (who said repairing this will cost a few hundred dollars) but we never fixed it because we fill up the gas tank each Monday regardless. The other very minor issue is that this car needs a new 02 sensor (or needs the current one cleaned). One more thing: separate from the car I am selling an extra set of 15 inch Saab alloy Wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires (lots of tread left) for the winter time. These tires are amazing on snow/ice! Asking $325.00 for the full set of wheels/tires. Serious buyers only please. Do not send me low ball offers. This is a great deal for a rare car that is in exceptional condition. ***You can email, call or text. Hot rod tractor stars in Swedish version of Farmkhana
Mon, 08 Sep 2014The Nordic countries are known for their beautiful fjords, blonde-haired populace and bitter cold for a good portion of the year. The hours spent indoors during the dark, cold season apparently gives a lot of time for some crazy brainstorming. Tire store chain Vianor is highlighting the Traktor Terror in a new video. If Ken Block is the master of Gymkhana, then these guys know all about Farmkhana in their custom, turbocharged tractor.
According to the YouTube description from Vianor, the tractor is a 1956 Volvo BM Terrier with an added roll cage, adjustable front suspension and extended frame. The engine is thoroughly Swedish, and it's based on a Volvo 940 Turbo with a Volvo 240 head and Volvo 740 intercooler. However, it uses a Saab turbo Prospark ignition and fuel system. All told, the setup is claimed to make 225 horsepower and is capable of a top speed of 60 miles per hour.
That's not crazy power, but this tractor can certainly put it down. The farm machine has no problem smoking those big rear wheels and drifts easily.... although, it may be a tiny little bit unstable (hence the roll cage). If nothing else, this looks like the world's most fun way to be a farmer, that's for sure.
2014 Saab 9-3 officially relaunched, reborn
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Saab is officially building cars again. Production of the 9-3 Sedan has kicked back off in Trollhättan, Sweden, and the first example is reportedly earmarked for the company's museum. Initial sales are targeted for China, although Swedish customers will also be able to buy new Saabs built in their country right away, too. It isn't immediately clear if the model will be available in the rest of Europe, let alone in North America.
The initial run of 9-3s will be powered by a 220-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder before an electric model joins the range next year. There are no Biopower or XWD all-wheel-drive models presently in production. And while the lion's share of the 2014 9-3 is a carryover from the pre-bankruptcy car, there are some changes, including a new anti-whiplash seat system and a "greater number of non-GM parts," reports SaabsUnited.
"I am very proud of the dedication and the focus that NEVS management and employees have demonstrated over the year that has passed since we became owners of the plant in Trollhättan, and who have made this possible. Swedish expertise along with Japanese technology around batteries and new lightweight materials and our Chinese group's focus on green technology is our strength for the future," said Kai Johan Jiang, the founder of Saab's parent company, National Electric Vehicle Sweden.
Saab 900 SPG is the latest Petrolicious love story
Thu, 03 Oct 2013The latest video from the crew at Petrolicious covers one funky Swede - a 1989 Saab 900 SPG. Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. As always, the videography is excellent and the story is intriguing in this latest video from Petrolicious. You can view the entire video down below.
