Super nice condition hard to find in this combination. Top of the line Aero version if you know anything about Saab's. Best color (Shiny Laser Red), no clear coat issues, with a most desirable 6 speed manual transmission (automatics are not the greatest on these cars, I had one) . 4 cylinder SAAB engine unlike the newer 6 cylinder engine which is made by GM found in 2006 and up. Economical with great gas mileage yet very powerful and performance oriented. Great condition with recent brakes, tires oil change, coolant flush, new coolant bottle, headlights refinished, recent convertible top done. Upgraded wheel finish and front lip spoiler and lots more that I cant remember at this time.
The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Transmission and clutch are perfect. Very clean car in and out and attracts attention. New wiper blades. Four wheel alignment with castor kit installed in front. Motorized Bi-xenon headlights work perfectly.Every thing works like it should. Ice cold ac. No warning lights, check engine, airbag....etc on dash or any other issues. If you are not happy with the wheels color or front lip you can remove it very easily since it is a material called Plast dip that can be removed easily and harmlessly with your fingers and without damaging the paint underneath it. New badges front and back. Very clean car. You will be happy you bought it.
I am only selling it for financial reasons as I have too many cars and could use the space and cash for other reasons. Please do not mistake this car for one cheap or salvage or beat up Saab's that are showing up every where. No rust issues or damage. Clean NMVITAS history report which is better and more accurate than car fax and other services. NO ACCIDENTS OR TITLE ISSUES.
Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in arrangement as much as I can. Due to vehicle's age and mileage it is sold with no explicit or implied warranty.
Please no low ballers or scammers. Only serious buyers. Ask questions before you bid. I will do my best to answer all questions that are serious and I have not addressed here.
ALSO, please have your funds available to finish the transaction in a timely manner and according to auction rules.
I am the rightful owner for this vehicle and only advertising it on Ebay and locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please watch out for scammers.
SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE.
Good Luck
p.s. Upgrades are purely cosmetic and easily reversible. Vehicle is completely stock mechanically and suspension wise.

Greetings from Trollhattan. I'm Emily, but I'm not a Saab.
Sat, Apr 29 2023What’s Swedish for “never give up”? Saab, apparently. The fondly-remembered car company formerly called just that — and now named NEVS — is only a shell, employing just a limited crew in the land of trolls. But itÂ’s got something to sell, and that something seems like it's really something. ItÂ’s called Emily. The Emily GT exists as six prototype electric cars, according to NEVS, with a combined horsepower rating (per car) of 484 powered by an enormous 175-kilowatt lithium-ion battery thatÂ’s good for 600 miles of range. In development almost since Saab's demise — the company, once owned by General Motors, was closed down in 2010 — the Emily is a very real product and needs a real sponsor, according to NEVS CEO Nina Selander, speaking to Carup. “It is for sale, it is also a joy to be able to show it. It should be allowed to live on, itÂ’s too nice, too good and too modern a car for nothing to come of it. Interested parties are welcome,” she said. Photos of the car show a modern, forward-thrust profile with handsome lines, a look similar to the last Saab 9-5 and VolvoÂ’s S60 (must be a Swedish thing) and a fashionable, sci-fi-ish interior. A hopeful engineer on the project estimates that the car is less than two years away from some kind of series production, but according to the modest NEVS website, the company is currently in “hibernation” even as it continues to solicit buyers for the Emilys. Said Peter Dahl, the Emily project manager, “Many have asked us what we have been doing for 10 years. We have developed 13 different car projects, this is one of them.” Related video: Volvo Saab Automotive History Electric Future Vehicles Classics
Saab begins 9-3 EV pilot production
Thu, 10 Apr 2014To say that Saab has had a tough time lately would be like saying that it's been a little colder than usual this winter. After General Motors finally gave up and sold it to Spyker in 2010, Saab declared bankruptcy the following year. GM successfully blocked Spyker from selling Saab to Chinese automaker Youngman the following year, but ultimately it ended up in the hands of another Chinese consortium called NEVS. Standing as it does for National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the new owners promised not only to restart production of the long-suffering 9-3, but also to turn it into an electric vehicle. And that's just what it's doing.
The latest news coming out of Sweden indicates that NEVS/Saab has started building the first examples of the 9-3 EV. These first 200 or so examples are set to be shipped off to Qingdao - the Chinese city that is home to the Tsingtao brewery, hosted the sailing components of the 2008 summer games on Beijing, was supposed to host an IndyCar race in 2012 before it was canceled, and also itself just happens to own 22 percent of NEVS.
These first EVs have their batteries mounted down low in the chassis for a low center of gravity and have a range of about 20 miles on a full charge. That's absolutely paltry compared to the other EVs on the market: a Nissan Leaf will travel more than four times that distance, and a Tesla Model S will go ten times farther on a charge.
Boeing, Saab introduce entry for T-X trainer program
Thu, Sep 15 2016This post is appearing on Autoblog Military, Autoblog's sub-site dedicated to the vehicles, aircraft, and ships of the world's armed forces. Boeing and Saab revealed their entry for the US military's T-X trainer replacement program. The new jet, simply called T-X, is like the lovechild of a F/A-18 Hornet and an F-16 Falcon, and as Boeing tells it, will provide "performance, affordability, and maintainability advantages" over the competition. "Our T-X is real, ready and the right choice for training pilots for generations to come," Leanne Caret, Boeing Defense, Space, and Security's President and CEO said in an official statement. And Caret isn't not kidding about the Boeing T-X being both real and ready – Boeing is so confident that it built two examples before the official unveiling on Tuesday. The first jet, which Defense News reports will fly by the end of the year, debuted to media with the kind of pomp usually reserved for automotive debuts. Boeing/Saab will use the second jet – also featured on Tuesday – for structural proof testing. The needs of a training aircraft are quite different than those of a traditional fighter. The T-X features stadium-style seating, so the instructor riding in back has nearly as good a view as the student in front. Student evaluations should be easy, too, as the open software transmits data effortlessly between ground training systems and the jet itself. Functionally, Boeing claims the twin-tail layout provides more agility than a single-tail design – remember, the military's newest jets, the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II both use twin-tail layouts – while the Air Force can mount two weapon hard points on the jet's wings. According to Defense News, four manufacturers – Boeing/Saab, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin/KAI, and Raytheon/Leonardo/CAE – are vying for the contract to build 350 new trainers to replace the Air Force's fleet of aging T-38 Talons.
