This is simply a spectacular car.
I will assume that if you are looking at this listing you know a bit about the car- I'll ramble on, anyway.... it's just what I do.
We are the original owners and the car has led a pampered, garaged life- No winters, salt, snow- in the rain a few times.
This is a 2007 SAAB 9-3 Aero Convertible in the most beautiful blue I've ever seen.
The car is absolutely loaded with EVERY single possible option- sticker was OVER $50,000!
I won't list everything but......

2.8 Turbo Motor w/ Synthetic always
Power: Mirrors, Windows, Top, Locks, etc
A/C and Climate Control
Power Heated Seats
Navigation
CD
Traction Control
Xenon Lights
Etc.....

Comes with all papers, manuals, books, etc as well as docs showing 10/20/30K services complete.
I do have the original window sticker, as well.
I barely cleaned the car for the pics- I did a vac and did wipe down the dashboard....... that's it. Carpets, mats, etc are AS NEW.
The top is a work of art if you've never seen the panels rise, the roof fold away, the panels drop...... pretty cool.
This car also has the feature of a true 4-season car. Yes..... it's a convertible, but the top is of incredible quality and it's Front Wheel drive and made in Sweden so it is (at the very least) a 3-1/2 season car.
I sold my Miata (just) and that was NOT like this SAAB- absolutely loved the Miata but it was RWD, etc.
We are simply selling the SAAB as it's not practical right now with a 5 year old. Take care of it and maybe we'll buy it back in 5 years!
Just not the right car at the right time- we just bought a little Mazda 3 and........ it ain't this SAAB, that's for sure! But, it makes more sense right now.
I'm selling my house and that's why the Miata went- right car..... wrong time. Life, I guess.
I won't say that you won't find a nicer Aero but.... I don't think you will..... not from the original owners, no winters, garaged, no accidents, no stories, no nothing.
Dealers often have some nice cars and I don't want to disparage them but...... I don't like unknowns. I want to know who had a car, where it was kept, how it was cared for, etc.......
Please see the pics and ask questions if you have some.
We have the title in hand.

Saab 900 SPG is the latest Petrolicious love story

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

The latest video from the crew at Petrolicious covers one funky Swede - a 1989 Saab 900 SPG. Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. As always, the videography is excellent and the story is intriguing in this latest video from Petrolicious. You can view the entire video down below.

Junkyard Gem: 1986 Saab 900 Turbo

Fri, May 31 2019

The Saab 900 sold well in Colorado, and owners of these cars tend to hang onto them for decades. For those reasons, I still find 900s while making my rounds of the self-service wrecking yards in the Denver region. The turbocharged models tended to fail more quickly than their naturally-aspirated counterparts, though, so the 900 Turbo can be tough to find today. Here's a 1986 that took its final tow-truck ride into a Denver yard a couple of months back. The 900 received a makeover for the 1987 model year, so today's Junkyard Gem comes from the final year of the 900 with the endearingly 1960s face derived from its 99 predecessor. Most of these cars didn't chug along for quite as many miles as their Volvo 240 countrymen, but that may be attributable more to the differences in driving style between Volvo and Saab owners. The word TURBO had magical connotations during the 1980s, and so most turbocharged cars of the era boasted big, obvious badging. Red car interiors were all the rage during the 1980s and 1990s. Try to imagine the vivid bordellitude of this upholstery before it faded beneath the blazing Colorado sun. Was it a runner when it arrived here? We'll never know. Born from jets, sure, though the original Saab jet was known as "the Flying Barrel" and wasn't especially graceful-looking. Motorweek looks back at 1983 Saab 900S

Tue, Aug 4 2015

These days, Saab is a zombie marque. Technically, the brand is still shambling around under the ownership of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, and there are continued promises of an electric version of the 9-3. However, we all suspect that the company is never really coming back, at least not as the quirky Swedish brand of the past. That's what makes watching this latest Retro Review of John Davis and the Motorweek crew driving a non-turbo 1983 Saab 900S so special. This is a great chance to see Saab still alive and kicking. While not one of the more famous turbocharged examples, the naturally aspirated 900S is still a quintessential Saab in every other way. The reviewers definitely aren't sold on the looks though, and there are plenty of jokes at its expense. Although, only paying attention to the polarizing exterior styling makes missing the good handling and immense interior utility easy. Sadly, without the aid of forced induction, the 900 offers very lackadaisical acceleration. According to this clip, the sprint to 60 miles per hour is more of jog in a leisurely 12.2 seconds. At the brand's best, Saab provided the motoring world with an alternative. If you didn't want just another boxy sedan, the brand offered something like nothing else on the road. Plus, drivers found a well-tuned turbocharged engine that provided good performance for the day. It's a company worth remembering, despite the current state of things.
