2004 Saab 9-3 Arc Sedan--5 Speed...1-owner--low Miles--very Clean on 2040-cars

Up for auction, is this 2004 Saab 9-3 ARC with only 100K Miles. The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition and runs great. The engine, transmission, and drivetrain all function extremely well, as well as all of the other components. The airbag light on, but my mechanic said its probably the clock spring, which is common on these vehicles, and inexpensive. The interior and exterior are in very good condition. The front passenger seat is ripped along the side seams, but other than that the interior is pretty much flawless. The exterior has only minor scuffs/scratches. In fact, the car was garaged kept for many years; so the paint still shines up very nicely. Please view the pics closely. Again, this is the ARC Edition, and not the Linear. This car is fully loaded with moonroof, heated seats, woodgrain, and much more. The car is a 1-owner vehicle, which belongs to a buddy of mine's. 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen is a Swede worth remembering on MotorWeek
Sun, Aug 30 2015Today, Saab survives in name only after a protracted series of bankruptcies and attempted comebacks with new owners. At the turn of the millennium, however, the brand was still able to make some great cars, though. MotorWeek is showing off one of its very best in this vintage review for the 1999 9-3 Viggen. The jet-inspired Viggen was the pinnacle of everything Saab's engineers could do at the time. Starting with the standard 9-3, the suspension was hunkered down to improve handling and lower bodywork was added for better aerodynamics. Now that the exterior looked the part, the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder was tweaked to make 225 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. While that output may not sound hugely impressive by modern standards, those were strong numbers in the day, and the following model year made even more power. After some time behind the wheel of the VIggen, MotorWeek came away quite impressed with this Swede. While the Viggen might not have offered the full capability of high-performance, European contemporaries like the BMW M3, Saab really showed its strengths with this model.
Saab 900 SPG is the latest Petrolicious love story

Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. Saab's Victor Muller wanted to nix Griffin, return to airplane emblem
Tue, 09 Oct 2012According to Just-Auto.com Victor Muller wasn't a fan of the Saab Griffin logo. The executive was quoted as saying he wanted to "abolish" the Griffin logo and return to the airplane emblem. Muller made it clear that if he'd had his way, the propeller would have replaced the Griffin across the Saab lineup long ago.
National Electric Vehicle Sweden, the company that recently bought Saab, was forced to abandon the Griffin logo due to the fact that the emblem is still used by truck manufacturer Scania. The manufacturer is reportedly concerned about potential Chinese counterfeiting - NEVS is owned by Youngman, a Chinese automaker - though it's unclear how that relationship would lead to illegal copies.
Either way, NEVS has said the loss of the Griffin logo isn't that important to the company so long as it can continue to build on the Saab name. Muller, meanwhile, said he wishes NEVS luck in the company's electric-vehicle endeavor, but that he doesn't understand its new business model.
