Please review the following detailed information and feel free to ask any questions. I feel strongly about being very detailed when selling a vehicle.

1997 Rolls Royce:
EXT: Deep Metallic Blue (rare color – Edmunds.com actually gives an increase in value for this color)

INT: Grey Sport Leather w/ Blue Piping. Multi Exotic Wood Trim

Miles: ~33,791 mileage to date

Title: Free and Clear - Perfect

Features:

Automatic transmission, Multi Exotic Wood trimmed interior, Grey sport leather interior w/ Blue piping, Heated seats, Wool interior roof, Alpine sound system with upgraded speakers (the sound system is outstanding), custom wool floor mats ( amazing & wonderful on the feet), etc...

VIN: SCAZA11C6VCX59929

HISTORY:

A little about me - I am an adult car fanatic (NOT a dealer) that has owned many vehicles. My three-car heated garage is kept cleaner than a lot of homes I have been in. I am indeed fairly anal when it comes to my vehicles. I keep all records and related items to any car I own.
This vehicle has absolutely NO paintwork, NO accident history (or evidence), and carries a clean title which is in my possession. Carfax, Service records, and so forth are all available. This Rolls was treated with top-notch service and any and all issues were addressed in the past by a local Greenwich, CT dealership.

My reasoning for selling is our family has grown and I cannot use the car as much as I would like.

ENGINE:

The smooth and linear power made by this amazing V8 is flawless. No smoke, no leaks of any type, no strange noises, no weird smells.

BODY:

The classic Deep Blue Metallic is in wonderful condition. There is NO previous body work, no accidents, no stories. The paint shines and emits great luster.  No nasty scratches, etc. There are small oxidation spots by the rear door window, see photo. Vehicle has been stored in a heated garage, has never seen snow.  She has been hand washed and waxed religiously.

INTERIOR:

The sport grey
leather smells of rich leather. The leather has been conditioned regularly using Lexol. The leather is in excellent condition and does NOT display any excessive wear appearance. The interior is sport grey with blue piping with multi exotic wood trim.  There are NO funky smells, no rips, no tears, no burns, no stains, no food articles, no pet hair, or other oddities in the interior. From a non-smoker home. Lastly, I NEVER use any shiny, greasy products on the interior to clean it, only low-luster (OEM) style cleaners or lotions

TIRES/WHEELS:

The wheels are in great condition. All 4 tires have been replaced at 30,006 miles (less than 4K on them).

BRAKES:

Perform flawlessly without any grunts, grinds, squeals, or thunks. Emergency brake pulls to spec.

TRANSMISSION:

The transmission runs and shifts smoothly.  No grunts, grinds, or sloppiness. The drivetrain is tight.

CONCLUSION:

This is an overall magnificent ROLLS ROYCE that I have thoroughly enjoyed. The vehicle is in outstanding condition and dressed in a not-so common color with rich interior appointments. The color combo is very rare
and as far as I am concerned by far THE BEST COLOR both outside & inside!
This amazing four-door sedan is close to the end of when ROLLS ROYCE was made by hand in England. The driving experience in this vehicle is bar-none, euphoric.  It’s solid, powerful, tight, and in-tune with the road.

PAYMENT & TERMS:
The successful high bidder will submit a $1,500 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Purchase must be handled with cash (in person), certified check,  bank transfer, or 3rd-party financing. Financing (through your own resource) MUST be arranged by buyer BEFORE end of auction. Do NOT bid if you are not financially capable or approved of purchasing this vehicle. Vehicle will not depart the premise until complete payment (verified) is made and cleared.  The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.

As with all used cars, no warranties are expressed or implied but I can personally attest this vehicle is in top notch condition.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to arrange an in-person review.

I reserve the right to end this listing anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale, due to local sale.

Thank you,

Jon

Rolls-Royce brings Pebble Beach 2019 Collection to Monterey

Sat, Aug 17 2019

Rolls-Royce brought 13 Bespoke Commissions to Monterey Car Week, each of them only available to guests attending car week. Among the pride, said to be inspired by the resurgent natural landscape of Pebble Beach after years of natural disasters, are a single Phantom, four Cullinans, four Dawns, two Ghosts, and two Wraiths. The Phantom gets the most modest treatment, attired — as usual — for business in a Black Diamond and Gold Bespoke exterior. The interior highlight is the Phantom Gallery, which turns a swath of the instrument panel into a canvas for personalized art. The four Cullinan SUVs begin to taste the rainbow, drenched in the luxury maker's iced finish, which Rolls-Royce says is one of its most popular offerings. The ice finish entails a mildly paradoxical combination of a matte color with an elegant shine, and on the quartet of Cullinans comes in Burnout Grey, Black Green, Iced Gunmetal, and Galilea Blue. Outside the collection but just as interesting from a color perspective, Rolls-Royce showed a bespoke Cullinan in Fux Orange, the paint named after a collector who asked Rolls-Royce to color-match a woman's wrap he bought in Miami. The Ghost, Wraith, and Dawn go all the way with color as part of a Pastel Collection, their "painter's palette of colors" keyed off the riot of ground cover and wildflowers newly returned to the Monterey Peninsula. They include three Black Badge Commissions, the aim to show that Black Badge need not mean somber or dowdy. Rolls-Royce did the same thing last year with its Paradiso Black Badge Collection in Quail Blue.  This year's Ghost Black Badge comes in the new color Light Green Solid over a black interior livened up by Serenity Green splashes. The Wraith wears Semaphore Yellow over a Selby Grey and Lemon cabin speckled by the Black Badge Starlight Headliner. The Dawn shows off Coral Solid on its bodywork and Aero Cowling, made pristine by seven coats of paint and more than nine hours of hand polishing. The interior gets Arctic White and Sunset leather, evoking the "blooming northern California hills and valleys." Every one of the Black Badge Commissions will feature a "Pebble Beach 2019" treadplate, and the hardtops all get Black Badge Starlight Headliners. Anyone who is keen to put money down has one more day to get to Monterey.

Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] FCA reaches a tentative agreement with the UAW, Honda reveals the all-new 2016 Civic, and the Frankfurt Motor Show dazzles us again. I'm senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. FCA reached a tentative labor agreement with UAW leadership. The major focus of the new deal reportedly includes: the eventual elimination of the two-tier pay scale [00:00:30] and pooling worker health care. Now that a leadership agreement is in place, the deal will be sent to FCA's rank-and-file. FCA has about 36,000 hourly employees. We got a first look at the interior and exterior of the 10th-generation Civic. Honda expects the new sedan to dominate the C-segment when it hits dealerships later this fall. Civic coupe, five-door hatchback, Si and Type R will all come later. The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show is in the books and there was a lot of news to get excited about. [00:01:00] Porsche introduced a fully electric concept car in the Mission E. If they make this car, Porsche could give Tesla nightmares. We also saw SUVs from Jaguar and Bentley. There were two beautiful Italian convertibles from Ferrari and Lamborghini. Meanwhile, Mercedes introduced a concept of their own in the IAA - a vehicle that experiments with adaptable aerodynamics. Those are the highlights from the week that was. Be sure to check out my full recap this Saturday. Plus we'll have some added insight on General Motors' deal to [00:01:30] avoid federal prosecution. Wafting In The Fastest And Most Powerful Vehicle RR Has Ever Made
It is said that Rolls-Royce co-founder Sir Henry Royce once proclaimed: "Take the best that exists and make it better: When it does not exist, design it." The second part of that quote is most curious, as the century-old automaker recently introduced an all-new Ghost-based coupe with no apparent peers - a two-door boasting a 624-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V12 with rear-wheel drive and sleek fastback styling.
Yet despite its specifications, it was never planned to be a sports coupe. Rather, the British automaker tells us that it was thoroughly engineered to be, "a car where the sense of arrival and joy of the journey are as important as the canvas upon which it is drawn." Whatever that means.
