It saddens me to sell my beautiful Rolls Royce but like they say you gotta do what you gotta do. It is a Silver Shadow ll and I am the second owner. It is automatic and everything is original. The radio statics and does not work as I was told by a Rolls dealer that they are set or programmed for the country in which they were made. It has an 8 track which does work. The brakes are new just put on last year. It has been stored since the original owner (I am the second owner) did not use the correct brake fluid. The car needs a left rear caliper in which has been ordered. It has to have RR363 brake fluid which is 30.00 a quart. This is not your average car to run to Auto Zone for parts. It is an expensive keeper.I love the car but I have to move on. Please feel free to call me for any questions you may have. I also have pictures from the summer last year outside and I will have to email them to you. Also on the driver side door paneling there is some scratching and small gouges because the original owner took his dogs everywhere. The leather interior is nice the driver seat has some crackling in the leather from the sun. It was shipped from Germany to Naples Florida where the original owner resided for many years. I have all receipts from original owner on what he had done. The title is free and clear. It is smoke free. PLEASE NOTE- A DEPOSIT OF 1000.00 WILL BE NEEDED FOR PURCHASE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF SALE END. I ACCEPT PAYPAL ONLY FOR DEPOSIT. A CASHIER CHECK FROM .A LOCAL BANK WILL BE THE ONLY PAYMENT ACCEPTED BESIDES CASH.THIS IS LOCATED IN OHIO .AND THERE IS NO SHIPPING. The wheels are off as new brakes were put on and we are waiting for the caliper , it is ordered.

Everybody's doing flying cars, so why aren't we soaring over traffic already?
Mon, Oct 1 2018"Where's my flying car?" has been the meme for impending technology that never materializes since before there were memes. And the trough of disillusionment for vehicles that can take to sky continues to nosedive, despite a nonstop fascination with flying cars and a recent rash of announcements about the technology, particularly from traditional automakers. Earlier this month, Toyota applied for an eye-popping patent for a flying car that has wheels with spring-loaded pop-out helicopter rotors. The patent filing says the wheels/rotors would be electrically powered, while in on-land mode the vehicle would have differential steering like tracked vehicles such as tanks and bulldozers. At an airshow in July, Aston Martin unveiled its Volante Vision Concept, an autonomous hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle it developed with Rolls-Royce. Aston says the Volante can fly at top speeds of around 200 mph and bills it as a luxury car for the skies. Audi used the Geneva Motor Show in March to unveil a flying car concept called the Pop.Up Next it developed with Airbus and Italdesign. If the Pop.Up Next, an electric and autonomous quadcopter/city car combo, gets stuck in traffic, an app can be used to summon an Airbus-developed drone to pick up the passenger compartment pod, leaving the chassis behind. Audi said that the Pop.Up Next is a "flexible on-demand concept that could open up mobility in the third dimension to people in cities." But Audi also acknowledged that at this point it has no plans to develop it. The cash-stoked, skies-the-limit Silicon Valley tech crowd is also bullish on flying cars. The startup Kitty Hawk that's backed by Google co-founder Larry Page announced in June that it's taking pre-orders for its single-seat electric Flyer that's powered by 10 propellers and is capable of vertical takeoffs and landings. The current version can only fly up to 20 mph and 10 feet in the air and has a flight time of just 12 to 20 minutes on a full charge. The Flyer is considered a recreational vehicle, so doesn't require a pilot's license. Uber says it plans to launch its more ambitious Elevate program and UberAIR service in 2023. "Uber customers will be able to push a button and get a flight on-demand with uberAIR in Dallas, Los Angeles and a third international market," Uber Elevate promises on its website.
Rolls-Royce starts a turf war in the Garden of Wraith
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Rolls-Royce Wraith would not be our first choice for hooning. Sure, it's god 624 horsepower channeled to the rear wheels, but it's an automatic, it costs the better part of $300,000 and it's laden with more leather, wood and carpeting than Harrod's. Leave it to Tax the Rich to toss it around then.
For those unfamiliar, the YouTube channel sporadically features videos of some of the most powerful and expensive pieces of automotive machinery being put up to no good. They've done the Ferrari 288 GTO, F50 (two of 'em, in fact) and Enzo and even the Jaguar XJ220 - twice - but now they've turned their attention to the most powerful Rolls ever, tossing it around the grounds of an old-world mansion estate like it was a Subie.
Rolls-Royce bringing art deco-inspired cars to Paris, celebrates with posters
Thu, 20 Sep 2012Rolls-Royce announced that it will be bringing some "art-deco inspired" cars to the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and while we really have no clue what that means just yet, we're sure the cars are going to be very expensive.
The images show what appears to be a stylized Rolls-Royce Phantom or Ghost in an artistic rendering that would look at home in South Beach. Like the cars, Rolls-Royce is going all out with the launch of these special cars with an invitation-only introduction including a champagne reception.
We only have to wait until next week to see what features and styling changes Rolls-Royce has in store for these new bespoke models, but for now, enjoy this trio of art deco goodness and check out the press release below.
