The luxury of this 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow will spoil you so much that you won’t want to drive your other cars! The Silver Shadows were designed around a V-8 engine with four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension and automatic level control. These cars were instant sensations and even though production levels were increased, demand could not be met.

The elderly collector who owns this car says the car is in like new condition. The car has the V8 engine and automatic transmission and the seller tells us with the hydrolic suspension it is like floating down the river in a boat when you drive this car on the highway.

It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats and power antenna. The odometer reads 94,500 miles and the seller believes it to be the original mileage. The seller drives this car frequently on short jaunts to keep it exercised and in good running condition.

The elderly collector has also provided the following information.

The hood, trunk lid and doors are aluminum. If you look closely at the photos the gaps are even and the body is straight.

The car comes with the 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Handbook that has pictures and describes everything about the operation and maintenance of this automobile.

Seller has record of everything that has ever been done to this car.

It has won two “Best of Show” awards at antique car shows in the state in 2013.

Grey Poupon's Pardon Me Lost Footage ad airs during Oscars

Those of you that took our tip and tuned in for last night's Academy Awards may have caught the latest iteration of the famous Grey Poupon commercials, featuring a pair of Rolls-Royce sedans and their condiment-loving stewards. The update to the 1981 commercial was only shown in part on television, however, as the mustard company directed viewers to its website to see the entirety of the Lost Footage spot. Of course if you didn't bother then, you can just scroll down to see the full-length two-minute commercial here.
As you're viewing, note that the Grey Poupon marketers did not, it would appear, get official sanction from Rolls-Royce this time around. While the Rollers in the commercial have all sorts of James Bond-like accouterments, they don't appear to have the official Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornaments, for example, and they have restyled lights and grilles. Check out the new spot below, and see if it stacks up to the iconic Pardon Me original.

If you're already jealous of the time, effort and money that Jay Leno can devote to his massive car collection, prepare to get a little greener with envy with this latest video from Jay Leno's Garage. Instead of the usual format of discussing a model for about ten minutes and then taking it out for a test drive, this week Leno gives viewers on a tour of over a dozen projects concurrently happening in his stable. The breadth of the vehicles shown and the things being done to them run the entire span of the automotive hobby. At the same time, Jay's shop is working on just a simple restoration of his 1969 Lamborghini Espada (pictured), and at the other side of the building, the team is rebuilding a wood-bodied 1914 Detroit Electric from scratch. He eventually plans to slot a more modern electric drivetrain into it. If bikes are more your interest, there's a freshly completed Brough Superior just waiting for a ride, and if American models are your thing, a Ford Bronco is getting a Coyote V8 installed into it. You have some very specific tastes if you can't watch this clip and start wishing at least one of these vehicles could be in your own garage. Other than the personal projects his mechanics are working on in the shop, Jay gets to have them all, plus plenty more.

Rolls-Royce is dangling yet another one-off Wraith far out of our reach — so far out of reach, one might even say it's not of this world. If you've ever dreamed of rolling around in your own private planetarium, well, one lucky Rolls-Royce customer in Dubai is about to be living your fantasy.Â Bestowed with the tagline "Inspired by Earth," this WraithÂ draws its cues from more than just the Blue Planet. While the hood is adorned with an air-brushed scene of the Middle East as viewed from the heavens, this luxury coupe's overall aesthetic is decidedly interplanetary. The first hints of this can be seen in the hand-painted solar system incorporated into the pinstriping elements on the Wraith's flanks. Â“WeÂ’re used to clients bringing us grand visions for their Bespoke Commissions, but this provided a new perspective altogether. In our response to the brief, weÂ’ve worked at both the Â‘macroÂ’ level, referencing the Sun and planets of the whole Solar System, and the much more personal Â‘microÂ’ level, centring our view of the world on the place the customer calls home,Â” said Rolls-Royce Bespoke design chief Michael Bryden. Bespoke Rolls-Royce Wraith 'Inspired by Earth' View 9 Photos The artwork on the hood might be the highlight of a first impression, but if you ask us, Rolls-Royce buried one of the Wraith's coolest touches pretty deep in its announcement: a headliner embroidered with the solar system, floating like a magnified night's sky over the earth-themed elements of the cabin surfaces.Â "The seats are made from Moccasin leather to mimic the sands of the EmiratesÂ’ deserts; Navy and Cobalto Blue accents are suggestive of rivers and lakes and Emerald Green piping symbolises nature in all its forms. Arctic White Â‘RRÂ’ monograms and stitching hint at clouds and translucent running water," the announcement says.Â The result creates the impression of gazing toward the heavens from Earth, which sounds like a tranquil cure for standstill traffic.Â Related Video:
