Up for auction we have a beautiful unmolested one family owned 1971 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow with longer rear doors. This car was broken into in the early 90's and has been sitting in climate controlled storage ever since. Needs driver side butterfly window and radio. Other than that this car is missing nothing. This car has beautiful black leather in perfect condition, all power works. All trim and chrome is intact. Just needs a good cleaning, no pitting. All electrical works. Factory foglights work etc as they should. Body is solid and straight, no rot, few paint chips and small rust spots here and there. Could use a nice paint job. Trunk still has factory padding, factory jack and tool kit bag. I put a battery and new electric fuel pump and had the car running off a gas can. No ticking no smoking or miss firing. Runs perfect but like anything else that has been sitting, I would drain the tank and change all fluids. Nice for collector or enthusiast. Buyer responsible for shipping!

Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:

Ghost Coupe to be fastest Rolls-Royce ever
Sun, 05 Aug 2012Autocar has snapped spy shots of a Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe, and judging from proportions the car will be so long in front and raked in back that it would make Dick Tracy whistle. We'll get the true story on that at next year's Geneva Motor Show, which is when Autocar says it's due to be revealed, but what's less in question is this: with a 6.6-liter, 600-horsepower V12 and a tauter ride it will be the fastest Rolls-Royce ever.
Weight is estimated to drop by 200 kg compared to its sedan sibling, and its roofline to drop by up to nearly three inches. If the horsepower numbers are correct the shorter and lighter Ghost coupe, with a 69-hp bump over the sedan, will assuredly deliver the "considerably brisker" acceleration promised. Helping matters will be the lowered chassis, larger tires, "mildly sports-orientated" brakes and a suspension tuned to be more aggressive but delivering just as much waftability.
Although it's being called the Ghost Coupe for now, insiders have suggested to the magazine that that it will get its own, bespoke, name, with pricing above the standard sedan but below the extended-wheelbase sedan.
