Up for sale today is my father's personally owned and well-documented turn key 1988 Rolls Royce Corniche II Convertible (2-door), with only 21,085 miles on it!

He has owned this car for 8 years, having bought it from the original owner, and has continued to maintain it lovingly... he is only selling it now because he is getting very busy at work and has not able to take it out for a spin as often as he would like of late.  I offered to put together this eBay listing for him because I am an experienced eBay Seller (and Buyer) - he would have no clue how to go about it! His loss is your gain!!!  A classic Corniche like this, with such low mileage, does not come around so often!

He is always telling me that it has been a wonderful experience, and such a pleasure, to own such a fine vehicle.   This car is truly exceptional, and has lots going for it... when you sit in it, it's like sitting in a cloud (I can tell you from personal experience... you feel like you are floating).

This particular model and color-combination is one of the nicest and best.  He has kept it so well that it almost smells new!

You won't be able to find another Corniche II as well documented and maintained as this one!  My father is meticulous and keeps everything in order - the car itself as well as the papers relating to it.

This car has a clear California title in my father's name with no salvage or rebuilt issues. It is a complete car, and it is completely 100% rust free everywhere on this vehicle.  The engine starts right up, and every time, it runs great, is very quiet, and drives very well. It passes smog test with no issues, it looks great, has a solid drive train, and the interior is original  and in excellent condition (no rips or tears).

This Rolls-Royce is complete with 4 "like brand new" plush rugs, and the keys for the pristine condition 5 chrome stock upgraded rims with locks. Also included is the stock OEM jack, complete Rolls Royce OEM tool kit, owner’s manuals. It also comes with tape player, AM/ FM radio. It also comes with 2 sets of factory keys and yes it all works great.

You will be very happy with this car. This car truly is one of the best cars in the world.  This car not only is priced to sell, but most importantly, you know what you are buying, he can stand behind it with documented proof.  It can absolutely be driven across the country, or flown to anywhere in the world right now... just come to Los Angeles, California and check it out!

Please feel free to contact my father by phone at 310-487-3535 or email with any questions or thoughts.  I will forward your emails so that he can get back with you as soon as possible. Thanks for looking!!!

Rolls-Royce Cullinan and BMW 8 Series spied south of Death Valley

Wed, Aug 30 2017

Recently, we've stumbled upon a number of manufacturer prototypes running around. Usually, spy photographers sit and wait for hours with cameras primed in order to get a few shots of a car. We just got lucky. First, we caught the new Chevy Corvette ZR1 convertible during a Facebook Live video. A week or so later McGraw snapped a video of a ZR1 coupe cruising in his neck of the woods. Today, our ace photographer Drew Phillips caught a BMW test fleet filling up the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan and 8 Series coupe in Baker, Calif. Baker sits along Interstate 15, about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It's just south of Death Valley, and, being late August, suggests that BMW was doing some hot weather testing. Drew was filling up his car when the fleet rolled in. There were at least two of the new king Rolls and a single 8 Series. Both cars were wearing a full swirl camouflage wrap. It's not an uncommon place to see prototypes. Still, seeing a whole fleet roll in is quite a sight. We've seen official photos of the Cullinan before, but these pictures give us our best view of the profile and rear we've had so far. From a distance, it looks like a high-riding version of the new Phantom with a hatch in place of the trunk. The taillights are obviously just filler units. Expect the final version to look very much like the squared off LED units on the Phantom. Likewise the interior and engine should be straight from the Phantom. That means a twin-turbocharged V12, though power is likely to be sent to all four wheels. We've seen the full BMW 8 Series concept a few times now. The proportions on the production car look the same, with a long hood and even longer wheelbase. The nose isn't quite as aggressive as the concept, but we expected the styling to be toned down to meet crash and safety standards. As for engines, look for six, eight and (hopefully) 12-cylinder power under the hood. A plug-in variant is also expected. Both cars have been in development for a long while, so look for full debuts sometime this auto show season. Maybe we'll happen upon some more test mules between now and then. Related Video:

Rolls-Royce Wraith convertible spied sliding in the snow

Wed, Mar 18 2015

Rolls-Royce may be on the verge of producing its first crossover, but it's a different prototype we're looking at here, frolicking in the snow. It's the convertible version of the Wraith, which Rolls-Royce is preparing to join the existing fastback coupe and the Ghost sedan in its "entry-level" lineup. Only we don't expect it to be called the Wraith Drophead Coupe like its larger counterpart, the Phantom DHC, but to go with an entirely different name (just as the aforementioned fastback took to distinguish itself from the sedan). Expect Goodwood to pull another suitably poltergeist-related nameplate from its archives (or from the netherworld) to slap on its new drop-top. Otherwise, we can expect the Wraith convertible (or whatever it's ultimately called) to closely mirror its fixed-roof counterpart, complete with suicide doors and a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12, when it arrives sometime in the middle of next year. Rolls-Royce Phantom celebrates decade of decadence

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

Ten years ago, Rolls-Royce opened its Goodwood manufacturing facility and handed over the keys to the very first Phantom. Back then, parent company BMW was cranking out Phantom sedans at the blistering pace of one unit per day. By the end of 2003, that number had tripled, and today, the Goodwood plant builds a total of 20 Phantoms in sedan, coupe, drophead and extended-wheelbase models during a single day's working hours. Originally, there were fewer than 400 workers on staff responsible for hand-building the big cruisers, but now the plant boasts over 1,400 craftsmen, with 100 of those positions added in 2012 alone.
Rolls-Royce boasts one of the lowest staff turnover rates of any brand in the industry, thanks in part to a successful apprenticeship and internship program, and the company notes 80 percent of its workers live within 15 miles of the facility. You can read the full press release on the 10th anniversary of both the Phantom and the Goodwood plant below.
