1983 Rolls-royce Corniche on 2040-cars
Kettle River, Minnesota, United States
For sale a stunning (Injected) 1983 Rolls Royce Corniche with just over 14K original miles. Silver Sands on Brown Leather. 2 owner car. Will not find one nicer - Original tires. This is as close to a new Corniche as anyone will find. A truly impeccable car in exquisite mechanical and cosmetic condition. Following many years of storage in a climate controlled facility the car was recommissioned and thoroughly serviced including the replacement of all fluids/filters including the correct mineral oil brake/suspension fluid as well as replacement of all fuel injectors, fuel pump, pressure regulator, accumulator as well as a number of seals and removal of the fuel tank for inspection (as it was correctly stored no actions were necessary on the tank). The cooling system had a waterless coolant in it and thus corrosion was a non issue though the system was flushed and new waterless coolant was added for peace of mind.

Latest Rolls-Royce Wraith teaser reveals fastback form
Tue, 26 Feb 2013In its fourth and final teaser before the 2014 Wraith is introduced next week, Rolls-Royce has released another image of the car showing a distinct fastback appearance. We've seen this car teased in its profile before, but that image had a heavy shadow over the rear of the car obscuring what should be the Wraith's defining element.
Rolls-Royce motorcars aren't exactly known for having overtly sporty proportions, but this could all change with the Wraith's styling. Judging by the teased drawing and official words from Rolls-Royce, the coupe's roofline will flow practically in a straight line from the A-pillar back to the rear of the car. With such a design, the Wraith could well become one of the world's most elegant and expensive hatchbacks, though it may also have a conventional hinged trunk opening.
Over the last month, we've also seen a rear shot of the car as well as glimpse of what the interior has in store, but the two images showing the car's profile give us our best idea of what to expect when the car is unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Until then, you can check out our winter testing spy shots and read a brief quote from Rolls-Royce design director Giles Taylor in the press release posted below.
BMW sold 2.49 million BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles in 2018
Tue, Jan 8 2019FRANKFURT — German carmaker BMW on Tuesday said it achieved record sales of 2.49 million BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles last year. "BMW Group achieved record sales in 2018. 2.49 million vehicles mean the BMW Group is the world's leading premium automotive company for the 15th year running," Chief Executive Harald Krueger said. In 2017, BMW Group sold 2.46 million vehicles. Daimler has not yet released annual sales figures for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, so it remains unclear whether BMW brand overtook Mercedes-Benz in terms of sales in 2018. Sales of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce cars were higher than Mercedes-Benz in 2017.
Neglected Rolls-Royce Phantom may be the saddest of all time
Fri, 30 May 2014Rolls-Royce prides itself on exemplifying the pinnacle of automotive elegance. The brand is synonymous with quality and luxury. However, in the end even a Rolls is still just a car, and if you don't keep it up, it's bound to fail. That deterioration can be seriously fun to watch, though.
This 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom might now be one of the worst cars on the planet and only has a little over 95,000 miles on it. The video claims that the original owner in New Jersey didn't make payments on the car for three years but rented the sedan out to people and used it for a livery service. Now, it's repossessed and would probably cost more to fix than it's worth.
This Phantom has had a hard life. We don't want to spoil too many of the broken pieces because they pile up to become increasingly absurd. However, the pièce de résistance must to be the broken Spider-Man umbrella in the door.
