This truck truly speaks for itself. We sold this truck when it was a one owner to a local gentleman and personal friend on December 17, 2009 when it had 50,487 miles on it. The original owner had already spent thousand of dollars on the truck with Banks Performance upgrades. He had installed the following....... Most diesel enthusiast say this is still the best Cummins and even go a far to say the best diesel ever put in a pickup. Fiat Chrysler recalls 1.4M Ram pickups: Tailgates could open
Thu, Aug 2 2018Fiat Chrysler is recalling 1.4 million Ram pickup trucks equipped with a power locking tailgate that may malfunction and open unexpectedly. The recall affects certain Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks from 2015 through the 2017 model years equipped with 5-foot-7 and 6-foot-4 cargo beds. Trucks with 8-foot beds are excluded, as are those with manual-locking tailgates. FCA says the tailgate actuator limiter tab could break and cause the tailgate to unlatch and open while driving, spilling cargo into the road and causing an accident. The company says it is not aware of any injuries or accidents related to the problem, and it will notify customers when service becomes available, expected to start Sept. 14. It will repair the problem at dealerships free of charge. Most of the affected trucks — about 1.14 million — are in the U.S., but an estimated 260,315 were sold in Canada and nearly 45,000 will be subject to recalls in Mexico and outside the NAFTA region. Thu, 17 Apr 2014The newest Ram Power Wagon is arguably the most imposing vehicle to be shown at the 2014 New York Auto Show, boasting a number of new aesthetic features, as well as a new graphics package.
Ram added a 6.4-liter V8 as an optional engine for 2014, but in the Power Wagon, it's the sole powerplant, boasting 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. An equally robust six-speed automatic backs up the brawny engine, while 4.10 gearing, an 11.5-inch rear axle and electronically locking front and rear diffs come standard.
A new five-link coil rear suspension and Bilstein monotube shocks should deliver a pretty comfortable ride, while the Power Wagon's off-road ability is complemented by the new Articulink system on the front suspension, which offers electronic sway-bar disconnect. 33-inch Goodyear rubber comes standard.

So it makes sense that this past week's top stories were all about cars, trucks, and SUVs that won't be hitting the market until the 2019 model year. And right at the top of the list is the Ram 1500. We've come to know Ram as the truck maker that styles its pickups with cues cribbed from big rigs, but that look has slowly evolved over time into something uniquely its own. The next Ram 1500 continues this trend, with a newly refined look that we can't wait to see in person. Up next is the 2019 Chevy Silverado. Pickup trucks have been, continue to be, and will remain the best-selling vehicles in America. And General Motors is a leader in the field, with two distinct offerings with which to entice buyers, one from the bread-and-butter Chevrolet brand and one wearing the slightly more upscale GMC badge. The Chevy looks to get LED lighting elements for 2019, which ought to keep the truck from looking dated when compared to the Ford F-150 and the previously mentioned Ram 1500. From there we move past pickup trucks and into SUVs and sedans. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee looks to get toned down a bit with its next refresh, and the '19 BMW 3 Series continues its slow evolutionary journey at the top of its aspirational sales pedestal.
