I would love to see someone how really needs a truck like this, get this truck. I brought it from my local dealer with 2800 mile on it. As you can tell it didn't get much use there after. And she needs to get used. At 4800 miles i added they 3inch BDS Suspenion Lift (NOT SPACER KIT). Also with they nice FOX 2.0 Shox, Also with they BDS adjustable track bar, (the rite way to do the truck). All parts are from BDS themselves not mix matched. And the wheels and tires also which are 20x10 FUEL MAVERICKS Wrapped in NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLERS 295/60/20 (35's). This was all installed by the best shop we have here on long island RMS OFFROAD, Check There site out. Receipts to prove. And yes that was a $5000.00 upgrade.
Yes All this stuff only has about 1000 miles on it. You will be getting a real nice set up. To me the pictures don't do justice, Have to see in person.

Ram 1500 Motor Trend's first back-to-back Truck Of The Year

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

For the first time ever, Motor Trend has named a back-to-back winner of its Truck of the Year competition, handing the crown to last year's winner, the Ram 1500. Ram's entry to the pickup battle bested a range of new or heavily improved models, including its big brothers, the Ram Heavy Duty and Ram ProMaster van.
Other contenders included the twins from General Motors, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the Toyota Tundra, the Ford Transit Connect, the Nissan NV200 and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Just how did a truck that technically hit the market in 2012 best a range of vehicles from 2013? With new technology.
MT wasn't testing the same Ram it tested in last year's competition - it was driving the new EcoDiesel V6, complete with an eight-speed automatic transmission. When ran through the battery of testing, the torquey diesel Ram proved to be the victor for its ample torque and excellent fuel economy, while the team at Motor Trend also highlighted its air suspension and overall sense of style and luxury.

Auto journo learns hard way that new vehicles burn differently than old ones

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Terry Box, a writer for the Dallas Morning News, was tootling down the Dallas North Tollway in a Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn pickup after work and enjoying the ride. Box thought the $53,335, option-filled press loaner had been "flawless - very serious competition for anything built by Ford or Chevy." And then, for reasons that still aren't clear, something in the engine compartment caught fire and the Ram cremated itself on the shoulder of an off-ramp.
Box tells the story and it isn't an indictment of the truck, but a cautionary tale about how new vehicles don't burn like the old ones did - and why not to go back for your gym bag. It could also be a kind reminder about what kind of safety gear everyone should keep in their cars. Click the link to read the whole piece.

Superman-themed Ram Power Wagon hits the block for charity

Mon, 05 May 2014

If you were tired of seeing Batman get all the cool cars while your favorite superhero was left to his own considerable devices, you may have been intrigued when Chrysler unveiled a special Ram Power Wagon last summer. Tied in to the premier of Man of Steel, the unique truck packed a blueish-grey vinyl wrap (textured like Superman's outfit), gloss-black accents, anodized red trim, 17-inch alloys and an interior decked out with Superman logos.
It was a nice tribute to the superest of superheros, but Ram only made the one, and it wasn't offered for sale. That is, at least, until now. With the movie's debut now long behind us, the one-off Power Wagon is being auctioned off to benefit LA Family Housing, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged families in Southern California.
Citing our favorite car site, the online auction page places the donated vehicle's value at $112,674, but bidding as we go to press currently stands at $47,500 with three days remaining. Head on over to Charity Buzz to help out a worthwhile cause and give yourself the chance to get your hands on a one-of-a-kind vehicle and piece of cinematic history.
