HELLO I have here up for auction my 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 MegaCab, 4x4, cummins turbo diesel with only 25,016 miles, I am the original owner and this truck has been babied always! It had all deletes done with 100 miles on the odometer so turbo is perfectly clean. all maintenance has been done by me and always before it was time to do it! The truck has never had one single problem or been back to the dealer or any mechanic ever! The truck has a leveling kit and 35" Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts, Smarty programmer, edge gauges,  5" turbo back exhaust, brite box on headlights, Heavy Duty bumpers front and rear, headache rack, bed rails, bed mat, tool box, husky liner mats front and rear and amp electric steps (running boards). The truck has never towed heavy ever! The only thing it ever towed was my motorcycle trailer twice and I can move it by hand. The bed looks almost new it has never had anything in it but the bumpers when I bought them. The truck has never, ever been in a accident or anything ever! It has never been ran hard or fast ever! I am a retired firefighter and all I used the truck for was to go to work and back. I seriously doubt you can find a nicer, cleaner, newer 2009 anywhere! It gets insanely good gas mileage for the size of truck it is. I hope you bid with confidence and if you have any questions you can email me at smkrifleworks@gmail.com if you need to talk to me please email me your phone number and I will call you promptly. I own a large business here in Texas so if you need proof of who I am before bidding please again email me and I will give you my name and phone number and business phone number so you can check and bid with confidence. I HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN HAND READY TO SELL!

Thanks

Ram readying radical two-way split tailgate?

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Ram may be preparing a new sort of tailgate that could rethink the way we access the bed of the company's pickup trucks. Rather than the typical fold-down tailgate that we know so well, patent drawings show a tailgate that combines the functionality of a traditional fold-down design with a 50/50 split that can, individually, be opened like a barn-door design or dropped flat like a standard tailgate.
Now, Ram is far from the first to toy around with something like this. The most obvious example is the Honda Ridgeline, which features a single-piece tailgate that is double-hinged so that it can open traditionally or be swung out to the side. The big news here is the split and the fact that each half can be used independently of the other. Unlike the Honda, the individual halves would be operated via touchpads.
The implications of this new design aren't entirely clear right now. It seems possible that the rendering could just be for a concept vehicle, but production is certainly possible as well - Ram has shown a real willingness to innovate in the pickup segment as of late, with features like coil-spring rear suspensions, light-duty diesels and the Ram Box bedside storage system.

2014 Ram ProMaster 2500

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Front-wheel drive is what sets the all-new Ram ProMaster full-size commercial van apart from its competition. In a segment still choked with thirsty, rear-wheel-drive, ladder frame, pickup truck-based cargo vans, the American automaker is introducing something entirely new - well, new to our domestic market, as Europeans will recognize Ram's fresh entrant as a made-for-USA Fiat Ducato.
While the big ProMaster doesn't have a traditional body-on-frame chassis, it isn't a pure unibody either. Consider it a hybrid of both, with a unibody cab up front and a reinforced high-strength steel subframe in the rear. The platform employs double A-arms and MacPherson struts on the front axle, while the rear uses a simple tubular beam axle. Tires are 225/75R16 at all four corners. The steering is hydraulic rack-and-pinion (allowing an impressive 36-foot turning radius) and there are disc brakes with two-piston calipers all around. It is a solid, if unsophisticated, setup.
This game-changing van, which has already arrived in showrooms with a starting price of $28,630, is propelled by either a gasoline-powered 3.6-liter Pentastar six-cylinder (280 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque) or a new turbocharged 3.0-liter four-cylinder diesel (174 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque). Ram will offer a traditional six-speed automatic or a new six-speed automated single-clutch manual transmission that drops the hydraulic linkage to improve fuel economy - details are still emerging on this unique gearbox.

2018 Ram 3500 takes the truck torque crown

Fri, Aug 11 2017

In the neverending war for bragging rights between pickup manufacturers, Ram just picked up a big one. The new 3500 heavy duty has an updated 6.7-liter Cummins straight-six diesel that produces 930 pound-feet of torque. Not only is that a gain of 30 pound-feet of torque over the outgoing model, but it's more than the heavy-duty trucks from Ford and GM. Specifically it makes five more pound-feet than the 925 pound-feet of torque in the most potent Ford Super Duty, and 20 more than the Silverado and Sierra heavy-duty trucks that make a maximum of 910 pound-feet. Ram didn't provide horsepower specs for the new Cummins engine, though. The outgoing engine made 385 horsepower. If Ram and Cummins were able to get such a large boost in torque, odds are that horsepower has also increased. There's also a good chance that even with more power, the updated Cummins may not exceed the horsepower ratings of the Ford and GM trucks. The Ford is currently second place in power with 440 horsepower, and the GM trucks have the most with 445. Final specs on horsepower, as well as pricing will probably appear soon, since the trucks will be arriving at dealerships at the end of August. Related Video: RAM Truck
