2012 Porsche Cayenne V6.  This is a one-owner vehicle with an impeccable history and just 9837 miles!  This truck has NO stories, no paintwork, and no apologies of any kind.  It has a clean CarFax and clean AutoCheck.   It is colored in white with a black leather interior.  The only way this truck can be described is...immaculate.  It looks, runs, and drives like new.  White is probably the best color for these trucks and they are very tough to find, especially in this condition.   It is LOADED with options and has FULL FACTORY WARRANTY until 2016 at any Porsche dealer in the United States.  We are a factory authorized Porsche dealer located in Boston, MA (Herb Chambers Porsche).  This truck is up-to-date in service and 100% ready for delivery.

The exterior is remarkable.  We did not notice any perceivable dings or scratches on the body in going around this Cayenne.  The paint is glossy and it truly looks like a brand new truck.  The wheels are in perfect shape.  There are no scratches or "curbing" on them.  It has a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires.  They have between 75-80% of the tread remaining.  The interior is just as nice as the outside.  The leather is crisp and soft.  There is almost no wear on the seats.  The dash and console are perfect.  This truck has not been smoked in and the carpets are like new.

Options include: PCM Navigation, Bluetooth, Premium Package Plus, Servotronic, Colored Porsche Wheel Crests, Memory Package for electric Steering Column, Heated 3-Spoke Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Panorama Roof System, Memory Package for Electrically Adjustable Seats, Electric Rollup Rear and Side Sunblinds, Heated front and Rear Seats, Front Ventilated Seats, Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror, Automatically Dimming Exterior Mirrors, 12-Volt Outlet in rear Center Consoles, Six-Disc CD/ DVD Auto-Changer, Front and rear Park Assist, Reverse Camera, Lane Change Assist (LCA), Bi-xenon Headlights, Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS), Dimmable Interior LED Lighting, Bose (R) Surround Sound, 19' Cayenne Turbo Wheels, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), 8-Speed Tiptronic S Transmission (including Auto Start-Stop Function), Standard Interior in Black, 14-Way Power Seats with Memory Package, Sirius/ XM Satellite Radio.

Again, this is as nice a pre-owned Cayenne as you will find for sale anywhere.  It can be shipped sight "unseen" and its new owner will be thrilled with the condition, inside and out.  Even the most meticilous potential buyer will be impressed with this Porsche.  We have it listed for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the listing at any time.  We will gladly assist in shipping this vehicle anywhere in the country.  The six cylinder Cayenne's are in great demand.  There are not many new ones around and to find a pre-owned one with this mileage and in this condition is a rare occurrence.  Buy with confidence from an authorized Porsche dealer.  This Cayenne is as nice as they come.  More pictures are certainly available upon request.  Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail with any additional questions.  (617) 538-6058

These were our favorite cars of 2022

Tue, Dec 20 2022

Favorite cars is different than best cars. The idea of "best" can speak to value and overall competitiveness in a given vehicle segment. There's lots of objectivity involved and to do a "best" list right, one really must be very thorough and as scientific as possible. This is not that list. This is about our favorites, so objectivity be damned. If we liked a Challenger Hellcat because it made loud noises or a Honda Odyssey because it made for a particularly special family vacation, fair game. These were the cars that most spoke to our collection of editors and the ones that stayed in our minds and hung in our hearts long after they left our driveway. — Senior Editor James Riswick 2022 GMC Hummer EV Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: I didn't particularly expect to like the new Hummer. I wasn't a fan of the Hummer H2 or H3, so I wasn't automatically enthusiastic about this electric reboot. Fast EVs aren't hard to come by — and, in fact, may be too easy to come by — so its performance specs weren't enough to win me over. Despite videos to the contrary, pickups aren't my favorite vehicular format. And its excessive size and weight turned me off ... until I finally got behind the wheel.  This thing is wildly entertaining to drive. Watts to Freedom launch control is a neat party trick, sure, but the novelty wears off quickly. The novelty of Crab Walk, however, has staying power. The rear-wheel steering makes this behemoth feel much smaller than it is — the maneuverability is incredible, and useful. The air suspension provides tons of clearance, including a ridiculously high-riding Extract mode. I can't wait for lesser versions of the Hummer to make their way to market. Give me less power (for less money), but keep the off-road tricks onboard, and I'll be a happy camper. Senior Editor, Consumer, Jeremy Korzeniewski: If I could afford to put one of these in my driveway, I would. Sadly, I can't, so I won't (What's that, Janet? I got the lyric wrong?). Still, I love the dumb thing. Thankfully, I have another choice down below. 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Associate Editor Byron Hurd: Yeah, duh, Porsches are good. But there's good, and then there's GT3. This is the feeling every performance-oriented RWD tuner is trying to replicate. This is hard, precise, surgical and immensely satisfying. To begin to explore this car on a public road is by itself an admission that you believe yourself to be above the rules as they apply to normal drivers.

The exotic '80s: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus and the Porsche 959

Thu, Apr 9 2015

There's no secret that we are big fans of the MotorWeek Retro Review series around here. In an automotive world that often focuses on the latest tech and what's coming in the future, it's refreshing to take a look into the past to get a new perspective. That said, the show is really outdoing itself this time by posting a full episode from the '80s to YouTube, complete with the original, jazzy opening. The video is an absolute standout, too, with drives of some of the best supercars that Europe could offer at the time. Among the now classic sportscars that MotorWeek got to drive are the Ferrari 328, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Lamborghini Jalpa and Autokraft AC Mark IV. There's even a preview that sings the praises of the tech in the Porsche 959. The episode is basically a showcase of most of the exotics from young enthusiasts' walls and school folders during the '80s and is not to be missed. Porsche designer to head Lamborghini style department

Tue, Mar 1 2016

The winds of change are blowing through the front office in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Not only does Lamborghini have a new chief executive, but not it named a new chief designer as well. And he comes from Porsche. Mitja Borkert is his name, and he's been working in the Porsche design department since 1999. He headed up its advanced design office until 2014 when he was named head of exterior design for the company. The Macan, Cayenne, and the new 987 Boxster were all heavily influenced by his work, as were concepts like the Panamera Sport Turismo and Mission E. As the new director of the Centro Stile at Lamborghini, Borkert takes over from Felippo Perini, who's heading over to run Italdesign – a job that used to belong to Wolfgang Egger. The once-independent design firm was taken over by the Volkswagen Group in 2010, and recently saw its famous founder Giorgetto Giugiaro leave to start another office afresh. The shift in the design office follows hot on the heels of the announcement that longtime CEO Stephan Winkelmann is leaving for Audi's Quattro GmbH, and that former Scuderia Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali is moving in to take his place on the outskirts of Bologna. Considering how different their design approaches are, it will be interesting to see how a longtime Porsche designer applies his skills to Lamborghinis. Will future Raging Bulls go softer and more rounded, or will Borkert have to pull some new tricks out from his sleeve? We'll be watching to find out. Related Video: Mitja Borkert is the new Director of Centro Stile Lamborghini Sant'Agata Bolognese, 1 March 2016 – Automobili Lamborghini has appointed Mitja Borkert as the new Director of its Centro Stile (design center), starting from 4 April 2016. In his new role Mr. Borkert is responsible for the design of future Lamborghini models and the coordination of the design team, reporting to Maurizio Reggiani, Board Member for Research and Development. He succeeds Filippo Perini, who was appointed Design Director of Italdesign. Borkert is German, aged 42, and attended the Design University of Pforzheim where he graduated in Transportation Design. In 1999, he began work at Style Porsche, in Weissach, holding various positions, including General Manager Advanced Design until 2014, when he was appointed Director of Exterior Design. He contributed to the development of several Porsche models (Panamera Sport Turismo, Porsche Boxster 987 facelift, Cayenne, Macan, Mission e).
