United States

Black/Black GTS in outstanding condition.  It's in concours condition with no scratches, or damage of any kind.  It has been blacked out, all exterior trim is black.  Car has the Champion Air Suspension mod that lowers by 55mm or 2.2 inches.  Allows for the driver to change the ride height supporting all three heights (Sport, Normal, and Terrain).  Comes with two radios, the stock unit and an Alpine 920HD that includes radio, CD, DVD, Nav, Bluetooth audio, and more.  I added to the truck in Oct 13 at a cost of $2K.  It sounds great.  Truck has new Porsche mats and a new Battery.  Comes with Porsche battery maintainer as well.  The truck is absolutely beautiful, I get complements everywhere I go in it.

Options that came on the car were:

Basalt Black Metallic Paint
Moonroof
Bi-Zenon Headlights with washers
Standard Black Interior with Alcantara
Tiptronic S

I purchased the truck as a daily driver but it's just to nice for the winter so it just sits in the garage; I have never driven it in snow.  I have a GT3 incoming so I need the space!!

You won't be disappointed, this is a really, really nice GTS.

Porsche 911 RSR in bizarre, terrifying rally crash

Sun, 22 Sep 2013

As far as rally crashes go, this one is pretty terrifying. At this month's Hellendoorn Rally, Harry Kleinjan failed to negotiate a turn and drove his Porsche 911 RSR straight into a Jersey barrier, flipping the car into the river.
While it's unclear what caused the accident, German Car Scene notes, "We can see his brakes locking up ahead of the impact, which also ripped both driver's side wheels off, so it may be a case of ill-judged late braking, locking brakes or a jammed throttle." Us? We're betting it might have been bad pace notes. Fortunately for Harry and his co-driver, all indications are that no one was hurt. Check out the videos below to see the spectacular crash for yourself.

2014 Porsche Cayman promo video hits the web

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

Don't know how we missed this, but you don't have to play around with the 2014 Porsche Cayman configurator to see the new coupe in action; Porsche has given us more than two beautiful minutes of Cayman footage to enjoy.
The partners in the on-screen tango are the 275-horsepower base Cayman and the 325-hp Cayman S. If you like to keep track of such things, the former starts at $52,600, the latter at $63,800, plus $950 destination for each. Watching a video like the one below, however, is free.

Modded budget Mazda Miata takes on new Porsche Boxster in more challenges

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Earlier this month, our friends across the pond at Auto Express released the first in a two-video series that would see them try and build up a second-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata that could best a standard Porsche Boxster around the track. While that first video detailed the mods to the MX-5 - a supercharger, some suspension upgrades and a new set of super-sticky rubber being chief among them - and set baseline lap times for the stock car, today, we have the results of the 5,000-pound ($8,200) upgrade job.
Of course, we aren't going to spoil those for you. You'll need to watch the full video, which recaps the upgrades before digging into a comparison of both straight-line-speed differences between the 2.7-liter Porsche Boxster and blown Miata, as well as their behavior and lap times on the track.
Take a look and let us know what you think in Comments.
