Up for sale is a 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
The Cayenne is 100% mechanically sound and isn't in need of anything (brakes and oil were just changed, no CEL or service lights on the dash, et cetera). Tires are all matching (Michelin Pilot Sport) and have okay tread wear on them - they might need to be changed next season. The vehicle has been my daily driver for the past several months (I have driven it for about 6,000 miles, now) and has been running/driving flawlessly. The interior is very clean and in excellent condition (no cuts/tears or wear marks). The exterior is in good condition, as well (a couple of scratches that could be buffed out - no dents or dings, though). Stock, the Cayenne Turbo has lots of extras: Navigation, Bose Speakers, Leather, Heated Seats, Alcantara headliner, steel plated foot pedals, sun roof, et cetera. My Cayenne Turbo has a few extras, though: Heated seats in the rear, 21" OEM Porsche Rims, Parking Sensors (PDC), iPod interface, Power liftgate, Keyless go/entry, towing package, roof rails, stainless steel bumper guard, rubber floor mats, rear sunshade visors, and a few other goodies. As far as the title goes, the car will come with a Clear Rebuilt title. The vehicle was in a front left impact point collision. The hit was very minor and didn't do any frame damage or damage to the suspension whatsoever. I am an ASE Certified Mechanic, and I deal with these types of vehicles all the time. All work done was completed professionally by myself, or my highly trained staff. Furthermore, all replacement parts were 100% genuine Porsche parts. I even have invoices from the dealer for them. Our work is 100% professional and completely thorough - if you would like to schedule an independent inspection, we would be happy to co-operate with you or your hired inspector. Furthermore, we are more than happy to make accommodations for picking you up from a Chicago Airport, or allowing an extensive test drive. We have been building a reputation for selling rebuilt vehicles and have several references/referrals. We recently sold a 2012 Infiniti M37, 2009 BMW X5, 2010 BMW 750Li, (a different) 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and several other vehicles. Furthermore, we have a few other cars for sale. Call and let us know if you're interested in seeing this, or any other vehicle! |

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show Debuts
Thu, Sep 17 2015Consider the 2015-16 auto show season officially kicked off. The Frankfurt Motor Show offered a great look at the newest crop of production cars and conceptual machines, and brought some old favorites back into the spotlight for a closer look. (The Alfa Romeo Giulia, for example, debuted in June, but this was the first time most of us saw it.) Now that the dust has settled and we're all on flights back to the US, our editors cast their votes for their personal favorites from the Frankfurt show. These are the cars we truly loved seeing the most. But unlike other shows, there was no one runaway winner – all of the Top Five received positive praise from our team. We won't spoil the results, though. Scroll down to see what we liked most from this year's Frankfurt expo. 5th Place – MERCEDES-BENZ IAA CONCEPT View 12 Photos MIKE AUSTIN: The clean lines on this concept have me excited for a more elegant beauty to future Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Next to the Concept IAA, the lovely S-Class Coupe looks like an overstyled barge. DAVID GLUCKMAN: Yeah, the extendable rear is neat and all, but I'm more interested in the front-end styling of this one. It looks like the Tron version of a 300SL, in a good way. I'm hopeful it portends the future of Mercedes design. STEVEN EWING: I was super impressed when Mercedes said that, with the rear end extended, this concept has a drag coefficient of just 0.19. That's crazy aerodynamic. I'm not head-over-heels about the styling, but I think the lessons learned from this concept are really important, and will play a huge role in the future of Mercedes' products. 4th Place – ALFA ROMEO GIULIA View 15 Photos SEYTH MIERSMA: I can hardly express how in love with this car I am. The styling feels creative, modern, and evocative, without going over the top. The proposed performance is spectacular. And the Alfa badge speaks to a legacy of romantic motoring. DAVID GLUCKMAN: Pretty Italian car makes big promises and will probably deliver on about three quarters of them. I think that will still be enough for me. JEREMY KORZENIEWSKI: I'm really intrigued by the Giulia. It looks great, sounds awesome, and I'm expecting it to have a load more character than its German rivals. I hope I'm not disappointed. 3rd Place – JAGUAR F-PACE View 15 Photos GREG MIGLIORE: It's the first SUV for Jaguar, and I think they nailed the design, capability, and electronics. It's the right car at the right time.
2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Porsche's Performance Plug-in Preamble
By the end of this year, Porsche will be producing as many plug-in vehicles (two) as mainstream automakers such as Toyota, Chevrolet and Honda. Before the 2015 918 Spyder hybrid supercar goes on sale in the US, though, it will be warming its customers up to the idea of a plug-in model with the 2014 Panamera S E-Hybrid. A step up from the previous Panamera S Hybrid, the new plug-in Panamera adds a more powerful and advanced electric drive system that pledges to deliver the performance expected of a Porsche with the added benefit of improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.
Going on sale in November, the Panamera S E-Hybrid is aimed at customers also considering the upcoming plug-in version Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but the car's dimensions and performance could make it a competitor for Tesla Model S customers. We headed to Germany at Porsche's invitation to see how well it performs, as well as check out the full range of newly refreshed Panamera models, which now numbers nine offerings - although we're still waiting for a production version of the gorgeous Sport Turismo wagon concept.
Porsche Australia price cuts in excess of $36,000 irks customers
Tue, 04 Jun 2013Have you ever gone to the store, only to become irked after learning that the new [*insert widget here*] that you bought just last week has gone through a price drop? If you're particularly thrifty, even if it's only a couple of bucks, you probably brought in your receipt to see if the store would issue you a credit for the difference. Now, imagine that the widget in question isn't a minor purchase, it's a Porsche - and the price drop isn't just a few bucks - it's thousands.
That's the unhappy scenario that recently faced a number of Australian luxury car buyers and the uncomfortable conversation awaiting the German automaker. According to GoAuto, Porsche Australia recently whacked up to $36,000 off the price of its models in order to jumpstart sales Down Under - the Panamera range itself saw cuts between $5,500 and more than $36,000. The aggressive price cut was a strategy designed to drive sales of more than 3,000 cars locally, a yearly goal originally set for 2018, but now hoped for as early as 2016.
Australia is known for its comparatively high car prices, so the dramatic price cuts were undoubtedly welcome news to potential Porsche shoppers. However, around 50 existing customers were understandably agitated by the reductions because they purchased their cars just before the adjustments took effect. Not only did they stand to lose out on the deals, they also had good reason to fear that their new cars' residual values would take a beating.
