Up for sale is my BEAUTIFUL 2004 Porsche Cayenne S.
This Cayenne is the best looking Cayenne you can buy for the money (all stickers have been professionally removed).

Not only is this the best looking Cayenne S, but it SOUNDS better and is FASTER than the other Cayenne S' out there. This Cayenne S has professionally installed performance upgraded HIGH FLOW Cat Bypass Pipes AND a high flow Cold Air INTAKE. The sound is BEAUTIFUL and sounds like a rocket ship.

This car has always been well taken care of, MANY of the miles are highway miles at easy cruising speeds back and forth to Nevada. This car has 125,000 miles but it drives like it has 60,000. It runs great, the engine and transmission are great.

Towing Hitch and I am including the towing ball hitch. Includes Porsche option code for a SECOND battery in the back! HID Headlights! Fog lights. Factory GPS system, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Non-smoker, Well maintained! Of course it has small things here and there that can be attended to, but nothing out of normal for 125,000 miles. ALWAYS Mobile One Synthetic Oil Changes! This car is SO amazing to be in and drive, major head turner!

The car is pictured with the optional roof racks in a few pictures but the sale does not come with the optional roof racks.

Ferrari Speciale and Porsche GT3 make the trip to Le Mans

Thu, Aug 6 2015

Call it a pilgrimage. Call it a right of passage. The bottom line is that every racing fan should make the trip to Le Mans at some point. All the better if you can do it in style, as Evo has for this latest video. Instead of taking any old car through the Chunnel and along the French countryside to the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, Evo made the trip in the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3. Both are more extreme versions of the already capable sports cars. They're still naturally aspirated, drive the rear wheels through seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and both won top honors in Evo's car of the year awards upon their release. And we could hardly imagine better vehicles for the journey. Along the way, the convoy-of-two stopped by the side of the old Rouen-Les-Essarts circuit. Back in the 1950s and 60s it was regarded as one of Europe's finest street circuits, hosting the French Grand Prix five times. It was closed down and paved over in the decades that followed, and is today part of a public thoroughfare – but you can still drive around it and see some of the relics of its former self peering through. Porsche gives Nick Murray exactly what he deserved [w/video]

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

The tale of Nick Murray and his lemon Porsche 911 appears to have come to a satisfactory end. As noted in the original story about Murray, he and Porsche Cars North America met and came to a resolution. However, we didn't know exactly what that meant, until now.
Murray has created a new video explaining that PCNA offered to buy back the car at full price or give him an exact replacement for it. This was exactly what he was asking for. Murray remains pro-Porsche in the new video. "I am definitely considering reordering a Porsche 911," he says.
Porsche also posted a message on its Facebook page that clarified the situation. "We at Porsche have always sought excellence in all that we do. We know you expect it of us. And when we don't meet that standard, we make every effort to improve," said a portion of the note.

Chris Harris condemns demonization of Porsche Carrera GT in wake of Walker death

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

When something bad happens, it's easy to resort to scapegoating. At least for some of us, that seems to be exactly what has happened following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas, who were killed on November 30 in a Porsche Carrera GT. Even though officials have not yet determined the cause of the crash, that isn't stopping many theories from being put for - theories that include blaming the Porsche supercar. Rather predictably, not only is the CGT's difficult nature getting examined, but indeed, the nature of all high-performance cars is being put under the public's microscope, with some wondering what the need for all the power is.
A Google search of "Porsche Carrera GT" will find no shortage of articles about the razor-sharp handling and outright speed of the CGT. Pistonheads' Chris Harris has a different, insightful take on both the Carrera GT and the nature of all fast cars. He reflects on the matter, ironically, en route to drive the successor to the car that killed Walker and Rodas, the 900-horsepower 918 Spyder hybrid supercar.
We think it's well worth a read, as it makes a number of good points about modern high-performance automobiles and the way they're used. Click over and take a look.
