2008 Porsche Boxster Base Convertible Beyond Pampered! 10,976 Miles!!! on 2040-cars
Muncie, Indiana, United States
This car is my baby. Pampered does not begin to describe how I have cared for this car. It has less than 11,000 miles and still has the "new car" smell. You will never have to make an excuse or apologize for this car. The leather interior with the Porsche Crests on the headrests are in like new condition. This car saw snow today for the first time to take the pictures. I'm not sure that I've even had it in the rain. The only reason I am selling is because I've decided my "toys" need to be a little more family friendly. If you would like to own a new Porsche but do not want to pay the new Porsche price, this is as close as you will ever get. I encourage pre-purchase inspections. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. This may be one of the nicest 2008 Boxsters in the country!!!

Porsche Macan teaser reveals unique quad-LEDs
Fri, 11 Oct 2013In truth, all-but-undisguised prototypes for the upcoming Porsche Macan compact crossover have been spotted galavanting all around the globe for some time now, but even the least-camouflaged examples have been caught wearing eyepatches covering their headlights and taillights. A dark new teaser image from Porsche clues us in to why that is - the baby Cayenne is getting unique quad-LED peepers up front.
Porsche has been hinting at lighting innovations in its production cars through recent concept reveals, including the stunning Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo showcar from last year's Paris Motor Show. The wagonized Panamera also featured four-point LED arrays up front, as well is in the rear, so it seems likely that this lighting will become a Porsche design signature going forward.
Powerpoint slides leaked from a recent dealer meeting suggest the Macan S will arrive packing a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, while the Macan Turbo will boast a 3.6-liter force-fed unit, with both models receiving seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearboxes. Pricing is expected to range from $52,000 for the S model to $75,000 for the Turbo.
2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed statue unveiled
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Each year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a single marque is celebrated with a large and ornate "Central Feature" sculpture, with recent automakers including Audi in 2009, Alfa Romeo in 2010, Jaguar in 2011 and Lotus last year. This year, Porsche gets the honor, and it is using the opportunity to commemorate 50 years of the 911.
The sculpture features three generations of the 911 towering over the Goodwood House. The most recent 991 911 has the lowest position, with an original 1963 car second highest and a 1973 2.7 RS at the top of the pile. Be sure to check out the sculpture for yourself in the gallery of images above.
Leno, Seinfeld and a Porsche 356/2 featured in latest CICGC
Sun, 19 Jan 2014In the latest kaffeeklatsch known as Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld pulls Jay Leno out of his garage for a trip to Jones Coffee in Pasadena, CA. The NBC funnyman we've lately seen driving two guest Porsches in his eponymous garage this time takes the passenger seat in a 1949 Porsche 356/2, one of early all-aluminum, hand-built coupes - still in 100-percent original condition - built in Gmund, Austria and nicknamed "Gmunds."
The comedy veterans have known one another for 35 years, so the episode is rich with stories of The Good Old Days. Leno says it is also the first time he's ever had a cup of coffee, and for obvious comedic reasons they start with the civet-stained beans made famous in The Bucket List. You can watch Leno take his first sip below, and have you haven't heard the joke about the goat and the anvil, scroll on down for a listen to that and one or two more jokes besides.
