2007 Porsche Boxster 2.7 5 Speed 27k Miles Like New Save Big on 2040-cars
Rancho Cordova, California, United States
|
Up for auction is a 2007 Porsche Boxster that was previously damaged lightly on the left rear tail light area. Items replaced include the rear bumper cover, tail light, tail light box and platic fender liner. The airbags did not deploy on this unit. This vehicle was repaired professionally and all the fitment gaps are correct. This car only has 27k miles so its is practically new. All the necessary safety inspections have been performed and the alignment is at factory standards. It runs, drives and looks excellent as a Porsche with only 27k miles should. We took a lot of pictures to show the options but if you have any questions at all please feel free to contact us.
Title:
We have a California Salvage certificate on this Porsche and that included with a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country.
If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the vehicle a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale along with the necessary safety and smog certificated will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete.
If the vehicle is sold to a buyer outside of California, in our experience it is far easier to register a salvage vehicle by registering a car to the new buyer which is referred to as a California Title Only. We will have to turn the title in as above and we will register the vehicle to the new buyer and California DMV will mail the title directly to the registered buyer. At the time of registration, the vehicle will be able to be arranged to be transported by certified transport company to an address outside of California. This process also takes 7-10 working days. The vehicle will need to be transported across state line to avoid paying sales tax. Please contact your dmv to find out the requirements for your state before bidding. Some states its just as easy to register with just the salvage certificate and a bill of sale.
If you have any questions regarding registration, purchase or general items, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you |

Watch Porsche's 918 Spyder break a sweat while hot weather testing
Wed, 19 Jun 2013With five months left until the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder enters production, Porsche engineers are still putting the hybrid sports coupe through a battery of last-minute tests. To give us new reasons to ogle over the car - as if we needed any more - Porsche has released a short video showing the 918 Spyder undergoing shakedown tests in the hot Nevada desert. And you can't drive through Nevada without visiting Vegas, too, right?
Although there's really nothing new to see in this video, it's still fun to watch as Porsche approaches one million test miles logged on this exciting new high-performance model. One interesting part (at around the 0:37 mark) shows the car taking off under electric power and then transitioning to engine power, which results in a mix of whirs and growls as the 918 Spyder switches from a 127-horsepower electric vehicle to an 887-hp hybrid supercar. Scroll down to watch - and hear - Porsche's latest creation in motion.
Experience Daytona in 27,894 photos
Thu, Apr 7 2016This "video" of the 24 Hours of Daytona is composed from tens of thousands of individual photographs that have been put together into an intriguing but jolty moving picture show. The project was shot at the 24 Hours of Daytona. It was commissioned by Porsche from photographers Camden Trasher and Zach Miller, who pieced it together from no less than 27,894 photographs they shot at the sports car racing season opener in Florida in January. Porsche has won the Daytona endurance race more than any other manufacturer, with 18 overall wins to its name – way ahead of second-place Riley whose Daytona prototypes have dominated the race in recent history with 10 wins from 2005 through 2015. This year an LMP2 prototype built by Ligier and powered by Honda won for the first time, with the Corvette team dominating the GT categories. Porsches came in third in GTLM and second in the GTD class. Related Video:
Porsche Panamera wagon won't come to America until 2018
Mon, May 2 2016Porsche has teased us with a wagon version of the Panamera for years now. First as the Panamera Sport Turismo concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and more recently we've seen prototype spy photos of extended rooflines Panameras as well. Now Automotive News confirms that the wagon is not only in the works, but that it will be sold in North America. "We have to have some patience for [the wagon] to arrive in the U.S.," Porsche Cars North America CEO Klaus Zellmer told AN. "But we are confident that this car will be well received here, despite the fact that this country doesn't really like hatchbacks or wagons." Wagons are particularly popular in Germany, encouraging local automakers to continue developing and producing them even as they expand their crossover offerings. Only some of those make their way across the Atlantic, however. Though Audi, for example, offers Avant wagon versions of its A4 and A6 models, it brings only the latter over in ruggedized Allroad trim. Mercedes similarly offers wagon versions of the C-Class, CLA, and CLS back home, but only sells the E-Class wagon in America. And BMW keeps the Touring version of its 5 Series back home while brining over only the 3 Series wagon. Porsche is slated to reveal the new Panamera in four-door form at the Paris show in September, with the wagon version to hit the European market sometime next year. Don't expect to see the five-door model in US showrooms, then, until 2018 at the earliest.
