2000 Porsche Boxster Roadster S Convertible 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Hastings, Michigan, United States
Be just the second owner of this well maintained Boxster, which is a joy to drive. I bought it one year ago, and am selling only because I liked it so much, I bought a newer one! Fully inspected and maintained at Sarasota Porsche dealer a year ago, including new Michelin tires that now have less than 6,000 miles on them. Fully inspected and maintained at Fox Porsche in Grand Rapids, Mi late last summer, before being stored for the winter. All repairs minor in nature, no known drivetrain problems, ever. I think I have most or all service records from original owner, who had it maintained at Bluegrass Porsche in Louisville, Ky. Previous owner and myself are both in our 60's, so this car has been pampered. No smokers, no pets. Original owner had the car in Kentucky and Sarasota. I have the original paperwork, including window sticker, as well as manuals and both sets of keys. Clean Carfax, with no accidents, body work, etc. This car drives and handles beautifully, performance is outstanding. Contact me if you have any questions.

Watch Porsche's 918 Spyder break a sweat while hot weather testing
Wed, 19 Jun 2013With five months left until the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder enters production, Porsche engineers are still putting the hybrid sports coupe through a battery of last-minute tests. To give us new reasons to ogle over the car - as if we needed any more - Porsche has released a short video showing the 918 Spyder undergoing shakedown tests in the hot Nevada desert. And you can't drive through Nevada without visiting Vegas, too, right?
Although there's really nothing new to see in this video, it's still fun to watch as Porsche approaches one million test miles logged on this exciting new high-performance model. One interesting part (at around the 0:37 mark) shows the car taking off under electric power and then transitioning to engine power, which results in a mix of whirs and growls as the 918 Spyder switches from a 127-horsepower electric vehicle to an 887-hp hybrid supercar. Scroll down to watch - and hear - Porsche's latest creation in motion.
Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer
Mon, 07 Oct 2013An Iconic Sports Car, Restored to Seduce
I have been strapped behind the iconic Momo Prototipo steering wheel for a little more than an hour, all windows down as I carve my way up a rugged canyon during an unusually warm Southern California evening, and I am overwhelmed with emotion. My heart is pounding out of my chest, my breathing is heavy and my palms are sweaty because I am completely absorbed by this wondrous machine.
After waiting patiently for nearly four years, I am finally behind the wheel of a classic Porsche 911 restored, modified and tuned by Singer Vehicle Design. The vehicle that surrounds me never rolled off an automaker's assembly line in its current configuration, yet its physical appearance is timeless, build quality breathtaking and driving dynamics peerless.
Porsche spotted testing next-gen Panamera in the snow
Thu, Jan 22 2015It's winter testing season in northern Sweden, and the latest spy shots our paparazzi on the ground have brought us is the upcoming Porsche Panamera testing in the cold and snow. The upcoming new four-door Porsche, spied wearing only minimal camouflage, appears to have a more elegant and sloping roofline than the existing model. Other details like the lights, mirrors and grille openings look fairly consistent with what we've been seeing on Porsche's other models as they've trickled out. Based on the new MSB platform, the new Panamera is set to share its underpinnings with the next Bentley Continental and possibly an Audi variant as well – though the prospect of a Lamborghini version to follow the Estoque concept seems to be off the table. The new platform will, however, make the new Panamera lighter than the current model. A new range of V6 and V8 engines are expected to provide motivation, driving the rear wheels or all four, along with the available e-hybrid system. Porsche's first four-door sedan was introduced in 2009 and underwent a facelift in 2013, so the all-new second-generation model should arrive sometime later this year or next as a 2017 model. This new model could provide the impetus for Porsche to put the Sport Turismo shooting brake version into production as well, and maybe – just maybe – a two-door coupe and possible convertible versions to follow in the footsteps of the 928.
