1995 968 Club Sport, This Is A Real One, Stunning In Riviera Blue, 68k Miles. on 2040-cars
Hanover, Maryland, United States
This is the REAL THING...a REAL 968 Club Sport in the U.S.!!! My company, "At Speed Motors" focuses upon investment-level Porsches. I have owned, raced, serviced, and collected Porsches for 20 years and come across wonderful examples for your consideration.
This is a stunning, 1995 968 Club Sport in Rivera Blue (code S8S8) from the factory. It was outfitted with limited slip, sunroof, rear painted spoiler, and 17" rims (changed to 18"s for DE events) from the factory. The car has a Rivera Blue painted Safety Devices cage installed, a fire system, Rivera Blue painted race seats, race belts, and timing equipment. The engine/transmission have been rebuilt and the suspension gone through. All of the fluids are changed, the A/C blows very cold, and the car is ready to go...for either street or DE/track use. Just a wonderful car to drive, smooth, balanced, and faaaassssttttt. This is a matching numbers car, of course, with COA shown in the pictures.
This car needs nothing at all, it drives perfectly, and runs perfectly...Please contact me with any questions at 703-627-9991. Take a look at my 100% rating and bid with full confidence. I stand behind absolutely everything I sell....PERIOD. My thanks, Bob. PLEASE NOTE: The correct VIN for this car is WP0ZZZ96ZSS815282 but eBay does not recognize that number as valid!!

'Latest production version' of Porsche 918 shown off on Twitter
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Porsche posted a picture of what it is calling "the latest production version" of the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder on Twitter. It looks like the gasoline-hybrid supercar is being driven sportively on some California back roads during Monterey Speed Week.
Whatever updates were made to this version aren't visual (except for the paint), as the one Chris Harris drove last spring and another seen hot-weather testing in Nevada both had production bodies. We presume the changes are relatively minor and more than skin deep - perhaps brake calibration, suspension tuning or tweaks to the powertrain - but Porsche didn't release any more information.
The 918 Spyder is Porsche's latest supercar, which will compete with the LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 hybrid supercars. The Porsche may be the underdog of the group when considering horsepower, acceleration, top speed and price, but the 887-horsepower brute has the most advanced hybrid drivetrain of the three.
Magnus Walker pops up again, this time with his Irish Green 911
Sun, 06 Oct 2013He was the subject of a short film called Urban Outlaw. He has been on Jay Leno's Garage. Twice. He even graced the cover of Road & Track in June. And after all of that, he appeared in a video by Hong Kong-based Silly Thing. So it isn't really surprising that Magnus Walker is at the center of attention in the latest video from XCAR, but it's surprising - and a treat - to see his mostly original Irish Green 1966 Porsche 911.
Powered by an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat six with 130 horsepower (more like 120 hp today, Walker says), riding on 5.5-inch wide wheels and turned with a wooden steering wheel, the little green 911 does represent some of the best aspects of classic car motoring.
Head on below to watch the long-form video on Walker and his Porsche, but if your time is limited, you're not missing much if you call it quits at five minutes - especially if you've seen his aforementioned videos before.
2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
