IT ALSO COMES WITH DUNLOP SPORT 4000 TIRES (225 50 R16) WITH A 16 INCH RIM. THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE FLOOD TITLE. THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN A FLOOD AND THERE IS SOME WATER DAMAGE, SO SOME OF THE ELECTRONICS TOOK A HIT. THE SEATS DO HAVE MINOR WATER DAMAGE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE.. THE POWER FEATURE FOR THE SEATS DOES NOT WORK DUE TO THE WATER DAMAGE IM ASSUMING.. THE PASSENGER WINDOW DOES NOT GO UP OR DOWN ALSO DUE TO WATER . THE SIDE MIRROR POWER FEATURE ALSO DOES NOT WORK.. THE CLUSTER DOES LIGHT UP AND DOES DISPLAY THE MILES, ALSO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON.. THE HEADLIGHTS DO WORK AND THEY DO FLIP UP AND DOWN, THE FOG LIGHTS ALSO STILL WORK.. THE HAZARD LIGHTS WORK ALL AROUND.. THE PASSENGER SIDE BLINKER DOES NOT WORK, AND THE DRIVERSIDE TAILIGHT DOES NOT LIGHT UP. ALSO BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK.. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, BUT I WOULD IMAGINE THE ELECTRONIC PROBLEMS ARE BECAUSE THE COMPUTER GOT WET. AS FAR AS THE MOTOR, THE ENGINE DOES TURN.. I MADE SURE THERE WAS NO WATER MIXED WITH OIL IN THE MOTOR ( I MADE SURE OF THAT) SO THE CAR DID NOT SUCK UP ANY WATER. LIKE I SAID I AM NOT A MECHANIC AND I ALSO THINK THE CAR NEEDS A COMPUTER, WHICH IS WHY I THINK I CAN GET IT TO START. LIKE I SAID THE MOTOR DOES TURN AND SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO START. THERE IS SOME SCUFS AND MINOR SRACTHES HERE AND THERE , AND THE CONVERTIBLE TOP HAS A SMALL RIP ON THE PASSENGERSIDE AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE.. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A RARE CAR.. A NOVELTY PIECE.. A GREAT PROJECT CAR WIH A LOT OF POTENTIAL. I AM NOT A MECHANIC AT ALL, I JUST BUY CLEAN AND SELL SO WITH THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE THIS CAR HAS A LOT MORE POTENTIAL. IF I HAD THE TIME AND SPACE I PERSONALLY WOULD KEEP THIS CAR, BUT UNFORTUNATALY I DO NOT. THANK YOU AND PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED, BEFORE BIDDING .. Porsche 911 GT3 RS looks wicked, this way comes
Thu, Dec 11 2014Those who didn't think Porsche went extreme enough with the latest 911 GT3 likely won't be disappointed when the more focused GT3 RS arrives. And as you can see from these latest spy shots, it looks like it's speeding right around the corner. Tipped to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this coming March, the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is shaping up to be an enthusiast's dream - and with the prospect of a GT2 in doubt, could be the most hardcore Elfen in the range. Instead of the 3.8-liter flat-six in the current GT3, the new RS will pick up where the previous limited-edition GT3 RS 4.0 left off, with four naturally aspirated liters of unadulterated boxer power channeling a good 520 horses to the rear wheels. That will be a significant increase over the existing 475-hp GT3 and will match the 911 Turbo for output (if not the 560-hp Turbo S) and without any turbo lag to slow down the action, either. Whether it will keep the GT3's dual-clutch gearbox and four-wheel steering system, or ditch one or both for a more analog approach, remains to be seen, but we're holding out hope. Either way, the modifications to the bodywork ought to make the GT3 RS stand out even further and stay glued to the race track it will call home. Notice the deep front splitter scooping up snowflakes like a shovel, a massive rear wing (which may or may not be the final production version), the Turbo-spec rear end with air intakes ahead of the rear wheels, and a set of awesome-looking gills over the front wheels – all of which you can scope out in the gallery full of spy shots above.
Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine
Sat, 08 Feb 2014European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."

Porsche's 959 is still poster-worthy after all these years
Thu, 24 Jul 2014Today, we have the Porsche 918 Spyder. Before that, there was the Carrera GT. While both of those cars are dramatic departures from the traditional, rear-engine Porsche formula, they owe their very existence to another wild child of the iconic German brand - the 959.
Like so many of the great performance cars of yesteryear, the 959 was a homologation special, built just so Porsche could go racing in the clinically insane Group B rally series. Fewer than 400 959s hit the streets, but those that did were some of the most advanced cars of the 1980s. A rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged flat-six sent its power through a still-rare all-wheel-drive system, creating a race-inspired rocket that was, for a short time, the fastest production car on the planet.
Xcar has the story of the 959, from its inception to its conquest of the Paris-Dakar rally, which is interspersed with a drive of the legendary coupe. Scroll down for the full video.
