WOW LOOK WHAT I HAVE HERE....

THIS IS A 1993 PORSCHE 968 CONVERTIBLE WITH ONLY  IT HAS A 3.0 LITER ENGINE, WITH AN AUTOMATIC 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION.

THIS IS A RARE 2 DOOR CONVERTIBLE WITH ONLY 63533 MILES THAT COMES EQUIPED WITH BLACK LEATHER POWER SEATS, POWER WINDOWS AND POWER SIDE MIRRORS. IT ALSO COMES WITH DUNLOP SPORT 4000 TIRES (225 50 R16) WITH A 16 INCH RIM.

THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE FLOOD TITLE. THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN A FLOOD AND THERE IS SOME WATER DAMAGE, SO SOME OF THE ELECTRONICS TOOK A HIT. THE SEATS DO HAVE MINOR WATER DAMAGE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE.. THE POWER FEATURE FOR THE SEATS DOES NOT WORK DUE TO THE WATER DAMAGE IM ASSUMING.. THE PASSENGER WINDOW DOES NOT GO UP OR DOWN ALSO DUE TO WATER . THE SIDE MIRROR POWER FEATURE ALSO DOES NOT WORK.. THE CLUSTER DOES LIGHT UP AND DOES DISPLAY THE MILES, ALSO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON.. THE HEADLIGHTS DO WORK AND THEY  DO FLIP UP AND DOWN, THE FOG LIGHTS ALSO STILL  WORK.. THE HAZARD LIGHTS WORK ALL AROUND.. THE PASSENGER SIDE BLINKER DOES NOT WORK,  AND THE DRIVERSIDE TAILIGHT DOES NOT LIGHT UP.  ALSO BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK.. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, BUT I WOULD IMAGINE THE ELECTRONIC PROBLEMS ARE BECAUSE THE COMPUTER GOT WET.   AS FAR AS THE MOTOR, THE ENGINE DOES TURN.. I MADE SURE THERE WAS NO WATER MIXED WITH OIL IN THE MOTOR ( I MADE SURE OF THAT) SO THE CAR DID NOT SUCK UP ANY WATER.  LIKE I SAID I AM NOT A MECHANIC AND I ALSO THINK THE CAR NEEDS A COMPUTER, WHICH IS WHY I THINK I CAN GET IT TO START.  LIKE I SAID THE MOTOR DOES TURN AND SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO START. THERE IS SOME SCUFS AND MINOR SRACTHES HERE AND THERE , AND THE CONVERTIBLE TOP HAS A SMALL RIP ON THE PASSENGERSIDE AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE..

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A RARE CAR.. A NOVELTY PIECE.. A GREAT PROJECT CAR WIH A LOT OF POTENTIAL.  I AM NOT A MECHANIC AT ALL, I JUST BUY CLEAN AND SELL SO WITH THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE THIS CAR HAS A LOT MORE POTENTIAL.  IF I HAD THE TIME AND SPACE I PERSONALLY WOULD KEEP THIS CAR, BUT UNFORTUNATALY I DO NOT.

THANK YOU AND PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED, BEFORE BIDDING .. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 15 OR MORE POSITIVE FEEDBACK I WILL BLOCK YOU UNLESS SPECIALLY ARRANGED.

Porsche 918 Spyder officially priced from $845K, Weissach package $84K more

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

Porsche has released official pricing for its entire lineup of 2013 models, which just happens to include the upcoming 918 Spyder hybrid supercar. The 795-horsepower advanced-technology-lab-on-wheels is now officially confirmed to have a starting price of $845,000 in the US, which is the exact amount we were told earlier when we had the opportunity to ride shotgun in some 918 Spyder pre-production test vehicles.
What we didn't know at the time was the cost of the Weissach trim package, which is a high-performance upgrade to the standard vehicle that includes the deletion of some interior amenities and addition of lighter-weight carbon fiber appointments, magnesium wheels, flame-resistant upholstery, racing belts and aerodynamic aids - it's meant for track-going folk who intend to use their 918 Spyders as God, country and manufacturer intended.
All told, the Weissach package should drop the 918 Spyder's curb weight by some 80 pounds, while also lightening your wallet of an additional $84,000 - the car's MSRP with the Weissach package is $929,000. These prices don't, however, include destination charges, which, for something like the very limited edition 918 Spyder (only 918 will be made), could very well cost considerably more than your average Porsche.

2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival

Thu, Aug 13 2015

Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.

Petrolicious studies the purity of a Porsche 911 2.7 RS

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

Water-cooled Porsches are superior to the old, air-cooled models. This really isn't up for debate, despite the mob of Porsche purists, with pitchforks and torches in hand, currently descending on the Autoblog offices. Water-cooled models are more powerful and easier to live with, two factors that make modern Porsches just so darn amazing.
And while we won't hear arguments on anything we've written above, we will say that the old air-cooled models, while not superior, are just, somehow, better. They sound better - a lot better. They're simple, elemental and wildly entertaining things, that just beg for more and more. They rev in a way that forces drivers to work to unlock their power, rather than just push their right foot down. Part of the appeal of air-cooled Porsches, in addition to what we just listed, are the gorgeous cars they're slotted into, like the subject of the latest video from Petrolicious.
Starring a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, this video is a bit shorter than recent ones, but it's no less exciting. This 911, complete with it's sweet-sounding exhaust is the kind of simple, entertaining thing we can watch over and over. Scroll down for the full video.
