1990 Porsche 944 S2 .. with lots of extras. Very fresh motor, acquired from Black Water Racing in NC. Owner with 40 years experience said it was like it was in a time capsule! As it still had the cosmoline packing grease still on the bottom of the motor. Known in my and his experience to be gone by 25-30,000 miles. All belts have been replaced on the motor, including timing belt. K&N air filter with recharger kit. New cruise control blinker switch. New struts mounts, struts, new rotors, new brakes, new shocks, all bushings in shifting linkage machined new. Shifting into 2nd gear has to be done slow, seems the synchro is out. Clutch and all accessories replaced in the last two years. $1300 stereo system with Pioneer head, Bazooka tubes and all around new speakers one year old. Has tears in both front seats. Dash has few cracks. All buttons and visor clips replaced. Has new sunroof gears and motors less than one year old. Restoring this car I car started from the suspension up, doing it the correct way. Now we have a baby on the way! So priorities have changed and now you have the opportunity to get a mechanically sound S2 with a super solid foundation that just needs some cosmetic touches and she'll be complete! Paul Walker's daughter settles for $10m in crash lawsuit
Sun, Apr 10 2016Meadow Walker, daughter of the late Paul Walker, has agreed to a settlement with the estate of Roger Rodas worth $10.1 million over the death of her father. The basis of the settlement is that Rodas, who was driving the Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed, killing himself and Walker, was partly at fault for Walker's death. Police officials ruled that excessive speed was the main cause of the deaths of Rodas and Walker. According to TMZ, quoting attorney Jeff Milam, who is representing Meadow Walker, this sum is only a small fraction of the amount Paul Walker would have earned over his lifetime as an actor, which is almost certainly true. Walker was 40 at the time of his death, and was in the midst of a highly successful Hollywood career. A lawsuit was filed in September of 2015 by Walker's daughter against Porsche, alleging that the German automaker is also at fault for the deaths. Through her lawyer, Meadow says she "intends to hold the company responsible for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker's death."
