Excellent condition. I am 4th owner and have invested many dollars in this car. Mechanically, the car is amazingly solid. It has had the timing
belt service, water pump, a/c compressor, motor mounts, front brakes (have rear pads), new tires, new battery, new wiper blades all within last
4,000 miles. Eighteen months ago this car was repainted by best shop in area. All exterior components were removed including hood, bumpers,
air dam, tail lights, head lights, marker lights, mirrors, door handles and locks, quarter windows, moldings and badges, etc. After painting all
weather stripping, seals, moldings, badges, were replaced with new. The finish on this car is beautiful (with no paint lines due to taped off
areas).
The interior is very good and nearly all original. The steering wheel and shift boot have be professionally recovered in leather. The dash does
have some cracks around the defroster vents but not into the bulk of the dash. One side bolster on the driver's seat has some fading presumably
due to sliding against it on entry and exit. There are no tears, scratches. Carpet is very, very good all through. Rear seat is excellent as is cargo
area.
This is a very high end example of preservation and restoration. Car runs/drives great. Very solid throughout. Low mileage. All mechanical work
done by local Porsche dealership. I have set a low reserve on this car, making room for a 911.

Man arrested for stealing part of Paul Walker Porsche wreck
Fri, 06 Dec 2013Humans are odd creatures. Some of us collect things associated with bad events, particularly when it comes to cars. Your author, for example, has the grille of his wrecked 2004 Mini Cooper S hanging on the wall. As a more extreme example, an 18-year-old Californian is in trouble with the LA police, but not for taking an item from his own car accident. Instead, he has been arrested for stealing from the wreck of the Porsche Carrera GT that killed actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas.
And it wasn't a small piece, either. It was the Carrera GT's carbon-fiber roof panel. Making matters worse is word that the theft happened while the tow truck that was hauling the wrecked Porsche was sitting in traffic. According to the LA Sheriff's Department report, "A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck. The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed." Besides the eyewitnesses, it didn't help that images of the roof panel were later posted on Instagram.
The man, Jameson Witty, was later arrested at his home, where police also found the roof panel. The driver of the car Witty was in when he took the roof panel, meanwhile, is planning on surrendering to the police, according to CNN. It remains unclear if the district attorney's office will charge the two, although if it does, they'll be facing felony grand theft and tampering with evidence.

Evo sets up duel of Porsche 911s
Thu, 20 Mar 2014What's better, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive? That question has occupied auto enthusiasts for years, and so far, we've not really had a solid answer one way or the other. Evo has opted to take another whack at this tough question by pairing a pair of Porsche 911s against each other for a track battle.
In one corner, we have the two-wheel-drive 911 Carrera S, complete with the lickity-split PDK transmission, a sports suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. In the other corner, it's the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S in a much mellower spec, with a seven-speed manual, as well as standard brakes and suspension. While the results seem like they'd be a foregone conclusion, some very British weather is there to act as the great equalizer.
We've got the full video down below. Have a look, and let us know if you agree with Evo's results.
