1991 Porsche 944 S2 Coupe, Guards Red/Black, 60k miles, 5 speed. Adult owned, no accidents, always garaged and well taken care of. Performs excellent, absolutely everything works (including all typical 944 items that usually do not), belts have half life left (recently inspected and re-tightened). A few chips/dings associated with a 23 year old automobile. All books/3 keys/tool kit/air compressor. Porsche 911 Targa Turbo for Geneva debunked, 919 Hybrid and 911 RSR racers coming instead
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Porsche has proven adept at making sure there is a version of its venerable 911 for practically any wealthy driver's desires. If you just want a great all-rounder then buy a standard 911; open-air driving, then the Cabriolet is for you, and if you need a compromise between them, there is even the new 911 Targa.
Gossip earlier this week surfaced on various websites that at next week's Geneva Motor Show, Porsche had designs on introducing an even higher-performance Targa variant, a Targa Turbo. The rumored mashup would combine the wide body from the 911 Turbo with the super-complicated power roof from the Targa (see right). Assuming no changes in power, that would mean 520 horsepower or even 560 hp in a Targa Turbo S model. Unfortunately, we're hearing that this tasty bit of scuttlebutt is incorrect. Autoblog asked Nick Twork, Porsche North America Product Communications Manager, about the rumor, and his response couldn't have been clearer: "Totally false."
Twork did elaborate that company will be "debuting the Porsche 919 Hybrid, our new LMP1 race car" at the Swiss show, and Stuttgart has also announced this morning that will show its 911 RSR racecar, too - either of which we reckon is a lot more exciting than another Targa variant.

Wed, 02 Oct 2013At this point, you'd think we'd know all there is to know about the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder - except what it's like to drive - but Porsche has released a new video giving us a more in-depth look at its new plug-in hypercar all the same. The animated video gives us numerous cutaway looks at the 918 Spyder while giving a visual demonstration of the car's four hybrid driving modes.
Though nowhere near as exciting as watching the 918 blast around the Nürburgring in record time, this new video is nonetheless both interesting and informative. Porsche wants you to 3D print your own Cayman
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Have you got access to a 3D printer? Well lucky you, because as we're rapidly learning, the possibilities are virtually endless. And if your tastes lean towards the automotive (as we'd assume they do if you're reading this page), we've got good news.
Porsche has just released 3D printing data for the Cayman S so you can three-dimensionally print out your own and customize to your heart's content. Now Porsche hasn't specified just to what scale the data will allow you to print your Cayman, but we have a feeling that'd mostly be limited by the size of the printer at your disposal.
