Please read entire post. I have a running car that should really have the engine block replaced before being driven. Here is why. This is a true 16 valve car. It currently has the 8 valve engine block with a 16 valve head and pistons. I made a custom plate to relocate the timing belt tensioner so this would work, and well, it does not work well. I rebuilt this engine with fresh piston rings, rod bearings, and main bearings 300 miles ago. Also had a new clutch disk, pressure plate, and throw out bearing 300 miles ago. Car really needs the correct engine block to be right. I have the original block, so I can show you the differences. The car should not be driven in this condition, and should be towed away, as the timing belt is too loose and could jump any time in this configuration. Car has other issues. Interior needs seat covers, the dash is cracked in the middle like most of these cars, the AC does not work, cruise control is dead, cam sensor not working, and the power steering was eliminated. No tool kit in trunk, but the jack and spare are there. I have the missing piece of trim from the passengers side door and it is included, but it is the wrong color. Power sunroof works. New starter 300 miles ago. New battery last spring, have not driven since installed. Odometer works, and mileage reads 86056. A previous Carfax reveals higher mileage than this, so MILEAGE IS NOT ACURATE. Most everything else is there and works. Transaxle Code AGP. NON LSD.

Porsche says next Cayenne will be faster than Bentley Bentayga
Fri, Jan 23 2015Bentley and Porsche are both high-end marques under the same umbrella, and may even be collaborating on development of new models – but while they tend to take different approaches and go after different customers, that doesn't mean they can't share a bit of sibling rivalry. And that spirit of competition – even within the Volkswagen Group – looks to be coming to a head in the form of their upcoming luxury performance crossovers. For his part, Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer promises that the brand's upcoming Bentayga sport-ute will (in its top spec with the W12 engine) be the fastest SUV on the market. But in speaking with Car and Driver, Wolfgang Hatz – who holds the Porsche R&D head office that Durheimer used to occupy – says the Bentley won't be king for long. Porsche just released the new Cayenne Turbo S in Detroit, touting it as the first SUV to crack the eight-minute barrier at the Nurburgring. And Hatz says that the next version will be even faster. "Our Cayenne is always very very quick. It is doing 300 km/h [186 mph]. I think if [Durheimer] is doing 2 to 3 km/h more, then why not? He's doing that with a 12-cylinder. Our car will be much quicker on the road." The next Cayenne is slated to use a new generation of engines, and according to Hatz, will benefit from the same (if not more) weight loss as the new Audi Q7 with which it will share its platform. That sounds like a winning combination to us. That is, at least, for fans of performance crossovers. For those who aren't, Porsche promises it won't be bolstering its lineup with any new ones. Apparently the Cayenne and the smaller Macan are enough. Nor will Zuffenhausen slot anything bigger than a V6 into the Macan, according to the report. While Porsche's baby crossover will surely continue to get faster with new iterations, the Cayenne will always remain the performance flagship of its SUV range. Porsche becomes first company to rent out Vatican's Sistine Chapel
Fri, 17 Oct 2014We wouldn't go so far as to say God is a Porsche fan, but those in charge of one of the holiest Christian spots on our little blue marble are welcoming the German automaker into one of the religion's most revered and beautiful settings - the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. In so doing, Porsche will reportedly become the first company to rent out the holy hall for a corporate function.
Now, it's not like Pope Francis has signed off on Porsche doing do donuts in a 911 underneath Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam. Instead, the Vatican has rented out the home of the Papal Conclave to the Porsche Travel Club, which will host a classical music concert. The Travel Club organizes events and tours across Europe for Porsche enthusiasts, with the Vatican concert just one part of a tour of Rome.
According to Automotive News Europe, Porsche will sell 40 tickets - at 5,000 euros each ($6,379) - to the event, while the Vatican has confirmed that the Pope will not be in attendance.
