This car is perhaps one of the best examples of a 944 Turbo you've seen. This auto has been maintained using well known Porsche shops and OEM parts to maintain the reliability and performance. Adult owned and maintained, previous owners have used Eurosports, Fischer Motorcars or EuroWorks Ltd. for maintenance and service. The 30K service included replacement of: Clutch, Timing Belt, Rollers, Brake Master Cylinder. At 46K motor mounts, steering rack, water pump and AC were replaced. Mobile 1 oil since new. Around 58K I had the transmission and rear end oils changed with a routine oil change. Most recent services at 63K included; Timing Belt, Rollers, Water Pump, Thermostat, Timing Gear and Tensioner and All Drive Belts. This was done as preventive maintenance. New Battery and oil 1 were changed at 67K. The engine, turbo, transmission all run smooth and strong as they should, no noises or excuses. Anything that has needed attention this car received. I have most of the service records since new.
With an accident free, no rust, and low miles and major services accomplished; this truly is one of the best 944 Turbos you will find. To help you visualize the condition, I will try to outline the condition of various areas on a scale, 1 to 10 being the highest. Tires 10/10 Installed less than 500 miles ago;a new set of Yokohama 580 tires. Rims 8/10 Paint 9/10 Windshield 10/10 Dash 10/10 Front Seats 9/10 Rear Seats 9/10 Carpet 9/10 Headliner 9/10 I have taken extra pictures to show you the various items mentioned above. If you have any questions, please e-mail me before bidding, I will respond to your questions.
Externally and Internally you will find this in wonderful condition. There is a small scratch on the left front area where the spoiler bolts up against the fender. A bolt came out and allowed the two pieces to rub. This was corrected, but has left a couple of scratches. A close up photo is included in the pictures. There are some small pits on the left front nose from driving on the Interstate, not very noticeable, but there. Picture is included of this area. The factory alarm is in place but does not work. Since this lives in my garage I have not had it looked at. If an alarm is needed, I would suggest maybe looking into current offerings as I would imagine they offer newer features and technology. Included is a protective cover for the removable sun roof. Also included is a nice bra for protection on the frontal area.
I have had this beauty for 7+ years and reluctantly have decided to sell it. I need the room in the garage for my wife's new car, so I am offering this at what I believe is a very fair price for a very nice fast 944 Turbo. I have set a buy it now price and expect to get something near that for this beauty. I will of course entertain offers. Thanks for looking.

Porsche 991 vs. 930 Flatnose in 911 Turbo convertible faceoff
Tue, 15 Jul 2014The Porsche 911 Turbo has a legacy of being a tough car to drive. With a ton of power set right over the rear wheels, its reputation is to lose control as soon as the driver stops concentrating. However, this isn't quite so true anymore. The modern ones are tamed through technology with things like hydraulically controlled engine mounts, not to mention all-wheel drive. In its latest video, Autocar tries to decide whether 25 years of progress really makes the turbo a better vehicle.
It's summer, so what better version to compare than the 911 Turbo Cabriolet? In one corner, Autocar has the latest and greatest 2014 version pumping out 513 horsepower and 486 pound-feet of torque with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Its challenger is a 1989 911 flatnose convertible sporting 326 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. It's a truly rare car in the UK with only eight of them remaining on the roads in that region.
Granted, this test isn't so much a battle as it is a comparison. There's no question that the modern 911 would beat the classic in practically every objective category. What the video aims to find out is whether the flatnose is better in subjective measurements like its "feel." Scroll down to watch these two droptop Porsches square off.
2014 Porsche Cayman promo video hits the web
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Don't know how we missed this, but you don't have to play around with the 2014 Porsche Cayman configurator to see the new coupe in action; Porsche has given us more than two beautiful minutes of Cayman footage to enjoy.
The partners in the on-screen tango are the 275-horsepower base Cayman and the 325-hp Cayman S. If you like to keep track of such things, the former starts at $52,600, the latter at $63,800, plus $950 destination for each. Watching a video like the one below, however, is free.
Recharge Wrap-up: Porsche 911 hybrid possible, Ecocruise EVs coming soon
Thu, Oct 9 2014The next-generation Porsche 911 could use hybrid power, according to Porsche CEO Matthias Muller. "There is no reason against it and we will see if we have some reasons to do it," Muller says of the model due around 2018. He also suggests that hybrid technology could eventually make its way into all Porsche model lines, but that the Boxster and Cayman would first get four-cylinder versions. Muller cites carbon emissions and "sportiness" as reasons to use hybrid power, pointing to the 918 Spyder as a good example of both. Read more at Car Advice. A B-Class F-Cell from the Mercedes-Benz fleet has hit a benchmark of 300,000 kilometers (about 186,411 miles) in everyday use. The achievement won Daimler an "f-cell award" for hydrogen fuel cell technology and innovation. The 300+ fuel cell cars in the Daimler fleet have driven a collective 9 million-plus kilometers (more than 5.5 million miles). The information gathered from this testing is being used to improve development as the company looks toward expanding commercialization of fuel cell cars. "We have clearly demonstrated that the fuel cell electric drive is ready for the road," says Professor Herbert Kohler of Daimler. "The last hurdles we will overcome in intensive cross-industry and cross-border teamwork." Read more in the press release below. A company called Ecocruise has new EVs coming out soon. Along with electric scooters and service vehicles, Ecocruise develops street-legal neighborhood electric vehicles like the three-wheeled EZip-3, the four-wheeled EZip-4, and the fun looking Cruser Sport (see a prototype in the video below). The EVs are scheduled to go on sale in January of 2015, which is right around the corner. Ecocruise was started after the founder of Kasea Motorsports decided to switch to electric vehicles with the goal of offering providing affordable emissions-free driving. The new EU Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) does little to discourage dirty fuels like tar sands and coal-to-liquid, says Transport & Environment (T&E). The FQD requires suppliers to reduce greenhouse gas intensity for transport fuel in the EU by six percent by 2020. The much-delayed FQD doesn't do as much as it could, though, say critics, and it doesn't label dirtier fuel sources as such despite the urging of scientists. T&E, an organization focused on cleaning up EU transport, blames Canada, the US and Big Oil.
