1983 Porsche 944 No Reserve! on 2040-cars
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States
This is a 1983 Porsche 944, its a classic car, it has 194,000 miles, but it still runs like a champ and has alot of power to it. This car is perfect for any Porsche enthusiast who is looking for a good porsche even though it has quite a bit of miles you can easily get a new engine with under 100,000 miles on it for around 5-800 bucks on ebay and swap it or rebuild the current engine or even just keep it the way it is because the car runs beautifly i only use fully synthetic oil. Currently i redid the whole interior of the car and installed racing bucket seats and a racing steering wheel. I got a brand new water pump, radiator, thermostat, timing belt shaft, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, air filter, tie rods, ball joints, battery etc. installed and still have most of the receipts of all the purcahses. This. Car features a 5 speed manual transmission with a n anti-slip differential it has a very stylish wide-body profile with amazing pop up headlamps. The car currently was prepped for paint so it needs a paint job it also needs a new front bumper and a new window motor for the passenger side before i sell it if any buyer would like me to buy the bumper and then sell it to you i will be ok with that as long as i get a good deal on the price your buying it at Otherwise this a great car that runs and drives great and it is very fun to drive once you start you wont want to stop! If you have any other questions or want to see more pics in better detail please feel free to send me a message i will get back to you asap! You might notice that in the oils a few deices are missing like the door panels but i do have all of them just message me i have a lot more oils of the whole car!

Porsche Macan configurator lets you build $110k crossover
Mon, 25 Nov 2013Part of the idea behind the new Porsche Macan is that it's less expensive than its larger sibling, the Cayenne. But with a starting MSRP of $49,900, the base Macan S is actually $300 more expensive than the cheapest Cayenne. That, however, is just the start, as you can see from the online configurator.
As is often the case with German cars in general (Porsches especially), tick the right boxes and you'll soon be leaving that base price behind in a cloud of tire smoke. Start off with the Macan Turbo and you're looking at a base MSRP of $72,300, which is already over twenty grand more than the naturally-aspirated version. But even that soon escalates as the options pile on.
Aurum Metallic paint will set you back $3,120. 21-inch wheels, another $3,300. You'll probably want the air suspension, torque vectoring, the Sport Chrono package, adaptive cruise control and lane-change systems, and those each add over a grand to the price. A Burmester surround sound system is the single most expensive option at $4,290. And if you choose them all - and choose all the optional trim packages - you'll soon be looking at a price in excess of $110,000. That's enough to get you into a Cayenne Turbo... assuming you don't tag on all the options to that one, too.
2012 TechArt Porsche 911 is visually dazzling, both inside and out
Wed, 07 Mar 2012One way to ensure that your brand-new Porsche 911 (a.k.a. 991) won't look like the one in your neighbor's driveway is to give TechArt a call. The famed German tuner has rolled out its version of the latest Carrera and Carrera S at the Geneva Motor Show and trust us, it won't be mistaken for anything from the factory in Stuttgart.
Up front, TechArt has fitted its own unique two-part spoiler with integrated splitter while more aggressive side skirts adorn the rocker panels. The rear has a new lower diffuser, wrapped around the TechArt exhaust, and a large fixed rear wing (complete with an integrated third brake light). Look more closely to notice the subtle trim panels on the exterior mirrors and front headlights. The wheels are lightweight forged 20- and 21-inch alloys with matching paint on their rims.
Inside the heavily modified cabin are even more drastic enhancements (let's say TechArt has gone over the top). Don't let the aluminum pedals be a distraction as you inspect the black Alcantara and high-grade leather covering nearly every square inch. Flirting with gaudy, the dark upholstery is contrasted by vehicle-color-coordinated stitching and painted trim splashed throughout. However, the icing on the cake is an insanely thick TechArt three-spoke sports steering wheel.
Porsche bringing Macan S Diesel to US instead of 4-cylinder [w/poll]
Mon, 16 Dec 2013When Porsche unveiled the new Macan at the LA Auto Show, it announced two powerplants for the US market, both of them twin-turbo V6s: the Macan S equipped with 340 horsepower from its 3.0-liter engine, and the Macan Turbo with 400 horses from 3.6 liters. But those aren't the only engines Porsche will offer in its new compact crossover. Porsche is also offering the Macan S Diesel overseas with 258 hp, and reports have since indicated that a pair of four-cylinder models on their way: a 2.0-liter turbo four with 280 hp and four-pot turbodiesel of the same capacity with an as-yet undisclosed output.
Now Car and Driver is reporting that while those four-cylinder engines won't be making the transatlantic voyage to our shores, Porsche will offer the aforementioned Macan S Diesel in North America beginning in early 2015, nearly a year after the gas V6 versions arrive.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is based on the same engine found in the Cayenne Diesel and the Audi Q5 TDI on which the Macan is based. Of course, its 248 hp is substantially less than the 340 ponies in the Macan S, but its 413 pound-feet of torque outshines not only the 339 lb-ft in the Macan S but also the 406 lb-ft in the Macan Turbo. Acceleration times, however, suggest the Macan S Diesel is still slower, with a 6.3-second run to 62 mph than neither the Macan S (5.4 sec) or Macan Turbo (4.8). The good news is that the Macan S Diesel is tipped to undercut the price of both, dropping the oil-burning crossover's MSRP below that of the $49,900 starting price for the Macan S and the $49,600 for the base Cayenne. If that C/D prediction comes to pass, that will make it the Macan S Diesel most affordable Porsche sold.
