1983 PORSCHE 944

9687 Miles. (Less Than 10K)
I have the Car Fax Report

This Car has not been driven very much over the years. It is registered in California and drives and looks perfect, especially for a 30 year old car.
All Original Car. Red with Black interior. Everything works, and everything is exactly the same way it came from Forest Lane Porsche/Audi of Dallas, Texas in 1983.
The Car runs and drives like new. Tires are in great condition and have 75% tread left. No mechanical issues. New Timing Belt and Cam drive belt just installed, not because it needed it but because mechanic suggested it due to age. All services were just done. Car is ready to go.

2.5L, 5 Speed (manual), A/C, Power Brakes, Power windows, New floor mats, Bra, Sunroof (removable), Fog Lights,Leather Seats, cruise, NON Smoker,

See Pics for Condition. The condition is almost perfect, but there are a couple of impefections. The rear bumper has a paint chip at the top left area about the size of a nickel. The front air spoiler has two spots that are scraped on the bottom side. There are also a couple of very small door dings that could be removed by a paint less dent repair company. 2 of the rims seem to need to be repolished on the aluminum outer edges. It looks like the polish is faded or could need refurbishing by a wheel company. Not a major issue but is there.

This is a great Car for the collector or for the Porsche Enthusiast. Please remember its a 30 year old car and it is not new. It is however, in mint condition, but like stated above has a few issues that are all cosmetic.

This car can be driven away or hauled off on a transport. We will help with shipping, but needs to be paid for and set up by the buyer. The Car is In Huntington Beach, Ca 92648
Please NO tire kickers or Joy Riders. Serious buyers only. Cash, Certified Checks or Transfers Only. I will not finance or Carry a loan. I dont need the money and have space for the car. Its not a fire sale and i am not a Used Car dealer. Contact me if you like the car and are buying a car. Thank You

Porsche offers detuned Boxster and Cayman 211 in Europe

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

Looking at a new Porsche Boxster? First of all, we commend you on your choice, because in its latest iteration, the Boxster has sped out from under the shadow of the 911 and into its own. But now to choose: do you get the base model with 265 horsepower, the Boxster S with 315 hp, or the top-of-the-line Boxster GTS with 330 hp? It's a daunting question, considering the $10k+ price gap between each model that you could put into the gas-and-rubber jar. Same goes for the Cayman, albeit with ten more horses across the board. But as if that's not confusing enough, there appears to be another player on the field. (That is, at least, in certain European markets.)
Appearing on the company's Belgian and Norwegian sites are the Boxster 211 and Cayman 211. As you might have guessed, they pack a less substantial 211 horsepower, undercutting what we know as the base models. Instead of using a smaller engine, though, the Boxster and Cayman 211 get the same 2.7-liter boxer six, just with less power.
As a result, they're a bit slower off the line: the Boxster 211 takes between 6.1 and 6.4 seconds to get to 62, depending on exact specifications, compared to the 5.5- to 5.8-second range for the 265-hp Boxster, while the Cayman 211 is quoted at 6.2 seconds versus the 275-hp Cayman's 5.4 to 5.7 seconds. Fuel consumption and emissions, on the other hand (and as you'd expect), are better in the 211. But while Porsche Norway charges around $10k less for the 211 models, Porsche Belgium charges the same for the 211 models as it does for the next most powerful versions (from which they appear to be visually indistinguishable).

Porsche reveals new Panamera Turbo S ahead of Tokyo debut

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

For many buyers in the market for a luxury sports sedan, style is as important as performance. But while the Porsche Panamera undoubtedly delivers in the latter category, it falls somewhat short in the former. Porsche went to some lengths (if not quite far enough for some tastes) to improve its four-door model's visual appeal with the facelift revealed earlier this year, but now it's time to up the performance game with the new Panamera Turbo S.
Set to be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in just a few weeks from now, the new top-tier Panamera benefits from several key upgrades over the existing Turbo and the pre-facelift Turbo S. For one, its 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 now produces 570 horsepower (up from 520 in the new Turbo and 550 in the old Turbo S and the latest Cayenne Turbo S) and 553 pound-feet of torque (up from the current Turbo's 516 but the same as the previous model). Despite the power boost, however, Porsche is quoting the same 3.6-second 0-60 time for the new Panamera Turbo S as it did for the previous one - but then that hardly required improvement in the first place. Top speed, however, is up to 192 miles per Autobahn-blurring hour, two mph faster than the previous model.
Other features include carbon-ceramic brakes (hopefully with more durable bolts than sister companies Lamborghini and Bentley have been using) packed inside the wheels from the 911 Turbo and an exclusive shade of greige called Palladium. And for the first time, customers will be able to order this top-spec model in long-wheelbase Executive trim. But don't expect it to come cheap: MSRP (before delivery and options) is quoted at $180,300 for the standard wheelbase and $200,500 for the stretched model. That's two and a half times the price of a base Panamera, and makes the new Panamera Turbo S Executive both the most expensive and most powerful Porsche your can buy this side of a 918 Spyder. Haven't passed out yet? There's more to digest in the press release, so head on down below to take it all in.

Chris Harris brings together the 918 Spyder, LaFerrari, and P1

Sat, Nov 21 2015

The Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari, and McLaren P1 show that a hybrid powertrain can make for blistering performance despite its electric assist. This trio doesn't arrive on track together very often, but Chris Harris assembled these three stars at the Portimao circuit for a nearly hour-long demonstration of their amazing capabilities. So, which one is quickest around the track? Harris provides an answer with in-car video of all three contenders. His team also goes out of its way to even the playing field by sourcing tires independently from Pirelli for the P1 and LaFerrari. With the technical part out of the way, Harris can start having fun by doing his usual slides during the driving comparison. Tiff Needell and Marino Franchitti also eventually show up to provide the perfect recipe for a track battle in these hypercars. If you don't have the time, skip about 14:25 into the clip just to see the lap times. However, those numbers only tell a tiny part of the story. The whole video is definitely worth a watch.
