You are viewing out 1983 Porsche 944. This car was in excellent shape prior to us selling the car. The car was here for sale and had only 93000 actual miles on it. The car had just been serviced and tuned up. Plus all new brakes, rotors, struts and shocks installed. Sold to a Clients son and in 60 days this was how it was returned. The motor is strong and runs well. The transmission is still good and tight. Its is also shifts well. The clutch is like new. AC blew cold when we sold it and even after the damage was done. It is a sunroof car. The sunroof is however sctrached up do to it came out during accident. The interior is in ok shape. It was like new when sold. The miles are 103000 and they are the actual miles. We think this will make someone a great car to restore or even better turn into A TRACK CAR. Also could be use for extra parts for someone or for their TRACK CAR. The damage is confined to only the left front fender and suspension. There is NO FRAME DAMAGE!! All glass is good and all gauges and switches function as they should. The body is straight and solid with exception of damage. RUST FREE TOO!! Car is going for a deal. We did some checking around and good motors go for 1000.00-1500.00 and same for transmissions. Plus rear glass bring a pretty penny. We do not have the time to do resto. So we are selling the car as it set. It will be going for a deal!! Any questions and inspections are welcomed. GO LUCK ON BIDDING!!

Porsche planning customer driving center at Le Mans

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Porsche seems to be on a campaign to build driving centers for its customers to allow them to experience the capabilities of their cars on track. It has one under way in Los Angeles, another in development at its North American headquarters in Atlanta, and a British center set up at the Silverstone circuit. Now the latest reports indicate that Porsche is planning yet another driving center at Le Mans.
The new facility is earmarked to be built at the Circuit de la Sarthe right by the start/finish line, incorporating the Porsche Curves that bridge the Arnage corner and the Ford Chicanes on the West side of the famous track.
Porsche is reportedly still seeking approval from the Automobile Club de l'Ouest that manages the circuit, and once given the green light, would still take some time to complete. But the idea of driving a 911 flat out on the legendary track is likely to make more than a few mouths water, particularly as the German automaker prepares its full-on assault of the famous endurance race next year.

Chris Harris pits Aston GT12 vs 911 GT3 RS vs McLaren 650S

Wed, Oct 21 2015

The Geneva Motor Show is never lacking in exciting performance machinery. And this year was no exception. Our eyes, like those of Chris Harris, were drawn by two hardcore, track-focused versions of existing sports cars. Both wore the name GT3, and now Harris has brought them together for a supercar shootout. And he's thrown one more in for good measure. Those natural rivals are the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 and Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the latter manufacturer having pressed the former to drop the GT3 name to which it claims exclusive domain. There's a great deal that separates them, of course: one's got a V12 up front, the other a flat-six way in the back. But what binds them together is a common approach of taking an existing model, stripping it down, and tightening everything up to make it more of a weapon than a grand tourer. What that means in the Aston's case is a rather high price tag, much higher than that of the Porsche. But scarce demand and speculation on the open market have left British customers, at least, paying as much for the GT3 RS as for the limited-edition Aston. And that takes both into proper supercar territory. So to show what else that kind of money can get you, Monkey has brought along a McLaren. Not the similarly track-focused 675LT, but the standard 650S... Spider, no less, and with worn hard rubber. So which one performs best on the road? Which clocks the fastest lap time on the track? And which gets Harris' vote? You'll have to watch the video for yourself to find out, but it's well worth the 25 minutes of your lunch break. Porsche boss admits Panamera's style is offputting

Sat, 11 Oct 2014

"There have been some small mistakes and we will do it better. For example the design could be better." - Matthias Mueller.
The design of the Porsche Panamera has been divisive, to say the least. Pretty much any Porsche with four doors was going to draw the ire of enthusiasts, but the fast-back-style roofline, prominent curves and seemingly never-ending hood have particularly irked some brand loyalists.
