38,000 Documented Miles, Mint Condition. on 2040-cars
Lothian, Maryland, United States
This is the 930 you’ve been looking for. I bought it from the original owner in November 2011. It needed some minor interior work and the engine needed some upgrading. I have spent over 60k in parts and labor to get it to this condition (receipts available on request). New turbo (K27/29), exhaust, headers, air intake, wastegate (Tial 46mm), clutch and lightweight flywheel (Patrick Motorsports), inter cooler, lithium battery (4lbs) with the Rennline relocation kit, Elephant racing level I street suspension, Wevo shifter, windshield. I have the original parts for the following (turbo, intercooler, exhaust, rear bumper, air conditioning). The front bumper is an original RUF that was specifically made for the 930. I don’t believe they are available anymore. The wheels are German 18 inch, RH Porsche P-3.6 (P2) on almost new Pirelli Rossos (235/285). All belts, hoses, gaskets, are new. No leaks. Park it for a month in the garage and no oil. The car is perfect; I attached the dyno for review. It was corner balanced and weighed in at 2671 pounds with no driver. These cars are skyrocketing in value. Yes, there have been some minor engine and body modifications (front spoiler, rear spoiler), but they are reversible if you desire to revert it back to stock. The interior and body are perfect, original sport seats, headliner, no damage or rust. The original owner never drove it in inclement weather and neither have I. This is a no stories car; I have records from day one to include the purchase order when it was purchased new. This car runs perfect, no squeaks, rattles, it is tight as the day it rolled off the showroom floor. I have the original drivers manual and a box full of paperwork and accessories that came with the car (original key fob, etc, etc). |

Porsche boss admits Panamera's style is offputting
Sat, 11 Oct 2014
"There have been some small mistakes and we will do it better. For example the design could be better." - Matthias Mueller.
The design of the Porsche Panamera has been divisive, to say the least. Pretty much any Porsche with four doors was going to draw the ire of enthusiasts, but the fast-back-style roofline, prominent curves and seemingly never-ending hood have particularly irked some brand loyalists.
Another naked Porsche 911 GT3 RS caught in Stuttgart parking garage
Tue, Jan 6 2015With its reveal not expected until the Geneva Motor Show in April, we have to wonder why there'd be a rode-hard-put-away-wet 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS sitting out in the open, completely uncovered. It's one thing to be caught out on the street or in triplicate at a Swedish gas station, but it's another thing to be on what looks like daily driving duty – there's a child's seat in the passenger's throne. Instagram user Johan9ff snagged it, and in response to a query in German as to how, he answered in German (per Google Translate) that he found it in a parking garage in a fitness center in the Stuttgart suburb of Killesberg. Based on its muddy front lip and bug-spattered paint job, the coupe has been naked out on the street and traveling quickly. Out of its camouflage it looks just like we've been led to expect based on the patent photos and the recent winter spy shots, but this time we get an up-close view of the vents over the front wheels. We have one word to say about them: filthy. And if you're wondering about those turbo-like vents on the rear haunches, no, this isn't a GT2 – Porsche has said there won't be a GT2, the current race-certified GT3 RSR has those vents (occasionally found on the previous version as well), and the GT3 RS has already been leaked in scale-model form. This is it. Based on comments left on Porsche forums, production will be limited by the number of orders – the new engine won't meet European regulations coming into force, so it won't be manufactured after this year. Deliveries are said to start at the beginning of summer; those who bought the 918 Spyder will get first dibs, and you can be certain there won't be enough of these to go around. Speaking of that engine, it's said to be good for somewhere between 510 to 525 horsepower, a PDK transmission getting power to staggered wheels, 20-inchers in front, 21-inchers in the back. Johan9ff has slowly been posting Instagram photos of the beast, we're hoping he got at least one of the interior. Those seats looks mega. Bring on Geneva. Techart modified Porsche 911 Turbo S packs 620 hp, 0-62 in 2.8 seconds
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Considering how many absolutely ridiculous tuner cars are featured in Geneva (stay tuned to see plenty, as our coverage continues), it's often refreshing to see some of the more modestly modified cars, like this new Porsche 911 Turbo S from the folks at Techart. Visually, there's a subtle body kit, new wheels, a new spoiler, and some lame decals on the front end, but it basically ends there. That's because Techart's mission is really about higher performance. Increased dynamism, as the Germans say.
An ordinary 911 Turbo S produces 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. But the Techart kit adds 60 hp and 96 lb-ft to those already high numbers, for a coupe that dishes out a total of 620 hp and 612 lb-ft. Techart says that, in Sport Plus mode, its modified 911 Turbo S will accelerate to 62 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds, and the top speed has been increased to 204 miles per hour. Crazy stuff.
To further drive its performance upgrades home, Techart has fitted this 911 Turbo S with a sport exhaust system with valve control, for a more robust exit interview, at the push of a button. We imagine it sounds awesome. Have a look at the Techart Turbo S in the gallery, above.
