...THE ULTIMATE GERMAN MUSCLE CAR...

(Made Better)

This is a dream car for someone who enjoys life to the max and has the means to do so. Imagine what this 928 was like new, if it were built today... now you're getting the picture. Nothing looks or appears "worn" on this Porsche because if it was, it has already been replaced. This is what concours means.

A true classic car so clean you could put it in your oversized great room, entertainment parlor or car museum (like the guy who bought the original Batmobile is going to do.) And like the real Batmobile, yes, this 928 also literally lights up a room and provides both a visual and auditory experience to go with it. Oh, you want to drive it! Of course. Although it can be driven daily (if you so desire), it has only been used for show purposes and presently sits in my private collection.

More photos of the operating light bars and flashing sequences are not permitted in this online advertising source. Neither is the use of law enforcement words. Therefore, you will need to go to the website to enjoy the entire show. And only if this truly intrigues you. Not to satisfy any curiosity please. This is a real car for a real buyer.

NOT from some backlot dealer inventory or third-party consignor, this Porsche is offered from the collector who knows how it was built. Commissioned to be fabricated by the lead CANADIAN pursuit vehicle installer, this Porsche not only looks and sounds great, it also includes the interceptor performance package to go with it. There is no other one in the world that has ever been built to match it.

Being sold from my own private collection to another serious collector of fine automobiles.
If you are a serious collector of unique automobiles, chances are this one is missing from your collection.

Request the WEBSITE to read the details and view the hi-res photos IF you are more than just a curious-looker.

THIS IS NO TOY.  EVERYTHING WORKS: THE VARIOUS SIREN SOUNDS, THE ONBOARD INTERCOM SYSTEM AND AIR HORN, THE STROBE LIGHTS, THE RED, BLUE AND AMBER LED LIGHT BARS. ALL PROGRAMMABLE. CUSTOM EVERYTHING. EVEN GOLD PLATED BEZELS.  IF YOU LIKE SUPER CLEAN. I MEAN CONCOURS CONDITION. MUSEUM PIECE. SHOW READY. THIS IS THE ONE.

THIS IS A NICELY APPOINTED HIGHLY OPTIONED 928 WITH FACTORY DUAL HEATED AND POWER SEATS AND DUAL POWER LUMBAR FEATURE WITH FACTORY ALARM. IT BOASTS THE ORIGINAL MARINE BLUE LEATHER INTERIOR AND ORIGINAL EXTERIOR FACTORY PAINT. ULTRA CLEAN. SPECIALTY CUSTOM.

THE HEADER INSTALLED CUSTOM BUILT MAGNA-FLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM IS LOUD WHEN ACCELERATING. THE WAY AN UNRESTRICTED V8 SHOULD SOUND. IF WORDS LIKE: UNIQUE, EXCLUSIVE, MEMBERS ONLY, OR ONE-OF-A-KIND ARE IN YOUR VOCABULARY, THEN THIS PORSCHE MIGHT JUST BE FOR YOU.

I'M NOT BIG ON EXTRAVAGANT SALES PITCHES AND FLAMBOYANT ADS. THIS PORSCHE REALLY SELLS ITSELF. I'M LOOKING TO MOVE A CLASSIC CAR OUT OF THE COLLECTION AND THIS MIGHT BE THE ONE IF A TRULY INTERESTED BUYER COMES ALONG. AS THE VALUE OF WORLD CURRENCIES FALL, CLASSIC CARS CONTINUE TO BECOME REAL TANGIBLE USEABLE INVESTMENTS. HERE YOU HAVE AN APPRECIATING ITEM OF TRUE AND LASTING VALUE.

I REALIZE 928's BRING ALONG A DIFFERENT BREED OF BUYERS THAN DO 911's.  THEREFORE, I WOULD LIKE THIS COLLECTORS PIECE TO GO TO ANOTHER COLLECTOR AND NOT SOMEONE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER CHEAP 928. THIS PARTICULAR 928 WAS IN PORSCHE PANORAMA MAGAZINE FEATURED IN A PCA CLUB DISPLAY AND REMAINS IN SHOW STATUS. OWNED BY A PERFECTIONIST, EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, IS DONE.

THE PRICE IS FAR BELOW THE VALUE OF WHAT IS OFFERED HERE AS A CUSTOM BUILD. FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO PLACE BIDS FOR SOMETHING THEY NEVER REALLY HAVE ANY DESIRE TO PURCHASE, LEAVE THIS FOR THE REAL BUYERS. FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN THE MARKET, THE BEST PART: NO RESERVE.

SO PLEASE... TEXT, TALK AND TYPE ON DISCUSSION FORUMS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS AS THIS ONLY ADDS TO GETTING THE WORD OUT. REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF COMMENTS, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS. THIS IS THE BEST FORM OF ADVERTISING, SO THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

NOTE: Actual law enforcement pursuit roof light bar and interior emergency light bars and related accessories will be removed prior to shipping. These can be made available to the buyer at cost if so desired. In addition, the tactical vest and accessories and special order DMV Germany plate will also be sold separately. All available for viewing on the website.

SPECIAL NOTE ON AUTOCHECK: Above average range and rating. Worry-free purchase.

SPECIAL NOTE ON PROVENANCE: This car has a very CLEAN and CLEAR title (history). It was hand-built by Porsche in Stuttgart for the Canadian market and has never left Canada since arriving. To those in Europe, this means it is given similar specifications as EURO spec models. Sold and owned in Canada from new, it boasts having EURO instrumentation (metric gauges.) More importantly, it's traceable right to the day of its initial sale from the Porsche dealer in Vancouver, B.C. CANADA on January 2, 1988. That's right, almost exactly 25 years ago. Therefore, this officially classifies it as antique status in Canada. Once again, this is not an import from the U.S. or overseas with a multi-owner background. We all know, the three most important qualities in real estate is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. In a classic car it's PROVENANCE, PROVENANCE, and PROVENANCE which only adds to its value as a collectible.

OVER THE TOP IN EVERY WAY...

The opportunity to enjoy life comes only once. So enjoy the journey... it is the reward... and it continues right here...

Porsche 911: Big in Taiwan

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Porsche is continuing celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of its iconic 911. In its latest video, it's gone to Taiwan, to interview some of the folks that have grown passionate about the rear-engined sportscar over the years.
By and large, the views expressed in this video could have come from anywhere in the world. The 911 is a great car and that doesn't change from country to country. These enthusiasts have the same passion that fans in England, the United States or Germany have for the Carrera. Take a look below at the full video, to see what the 911 enthusiasts of Taiwan love about their 911s.

Porsche Cayman GT4 looks sexy, rapid in the nude

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Porsche doesn't officially have a name for its more hardcore version of the Cayman, yet. The speculation is that the coupe is called the GT4 as a little brother to the 911 GT3. However, the German sports car maker apparently is not interested in keeping the model's looks much of a secret because these latest shots show it without a hint of camouflage to speak of. The GT4 reportedly takes the GT3's ethos of more power, less weight and stickier-than-glue handling and brings it all to the Cayman. As these photos show, there's a much lower air dam up front with a cooling vent at the tip of the hood. Larger wheels are another obvious addition and are likely shod with some very sticky rubber. At the back, there's a double spoiler combining a wing and a ducktail. The power and gearbox for the GT4 remains a mystery, though. The rumor is that it uses a tuned version of the 3.4-liter flat-six in the Cayman S and GTS to make between 370 and 400 horsepower. A similar overhaul of the Boxster might be on the way, as well. A version of the convertible wearing some of the Cayman GT4's goodies was recently spotted testing. That one even had a manual transmission to make the prospects behind the wheel even more exciting.

Le Mans-winning Porsche 935 K3 'seized' by DEA agents

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Porsche has won Le Mans more than any other marque, but only one of those overall race winners was actually based on a 911. That was the 1979 Porsche 935 K3, chassis number 009 00015 that was entered by brothers Don and Bill Whittington. It went on to win at the Nürburgring and Watkins Glen, and scored podium finishes at Sebring and Brands Hatch as well. In short, it's a historically significant and hugely valuable piece of motorsport history. And it was just seized by the DEA. Sorta.
After the Whittington brothers ran afoul of a handful of lawsuits and were implicated in smuggling narcotics, the car changed hands a few times before ending up in the noted collection of one Bruce Meyers. He had it at Laguna Seca earlier this month when a black Suburban, Dodge Charger and transporter truck pulled up with government plates, asked to speak with Meyer, presented him with a court order, loaded the car onto the truck and drove off.
Though familiar with the legal disputes surrounding the ownership of the car and the misdeeds of its famous original owners, Meyer was left understandably distraught over the events that had just unfolded in front of him to separate him from his pride and joy. (Or one of them, anyway; Bruce has got an eminently desirable collection of classic cars.) But here's the kicker: those DEA agents weren't actual DEA agents. Fortunately they weren't thieves, either. The actual story could have been the plot right out of Ocean's 14 if they ever made one and it focused on classic cars. (Is anyone in Hollywood listening?)
