Up for sale is my baby....1987 928 s4. This was the first year of the very collectable newer body style. What makes this car so rare is the color. They only made this color code in 1987. The condition of the car is great!!! The only reason I'm selling the car is I cannot get rid of a another I had previously purchased. Here is the history about the car...The title shows a salvage, but it is due to a theft recovery. Which is the only reason I am pricing the car under $10,000. The car was found missing the emblem, missing front wheels, radio and exhausts. All of which was replaced before I purchased the car. I have had 4 mechanics check the car out and a body shop and all told me the car is in original condition. The paint shop even said that they think the paint is original. As you may know the value on these cars is skyrocketing everyday. These cars are now selling in the $15 - $20,000+ range. This is my everyday driver and drives like a dream...The car is straight with no major dents or dings. The only ding that I know of is right below the door pull. It has been repaired, but the touch-up paint is not perfect.
Here is a list of what I have done since I had the car:

Recharged AC
New climate control unit
Bearings replaced on the rear
New JVC head unit.
New Mid Speakers
Complete service done 3 months ago.
Changes all spark plugs
Replaced lights in headlights and taillights
2 new front tires

To make the car near PERFECT it needs:
Repaint rear and side bumpers
repair torn driver seat and repair minor cracked dash
repair minor power steering leak

Who ever buys this car is getting a beautiful rare 928 s4. Some collectors are calling the 928 s4 the future $$$$$$$ car. So grab one this one while you can, because they are becoming more and more rare!!!!!!
Please email me if you have any questions....

Porsche 918 Spyder already almost sold out?

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Still planning on getting your hands on a Porsche 918 Spyder? You'd better act quickly, because word has it that the hybrid hypercar is nearly sold out.
While Porsche has reportedly only delivered a little over 30 of the 918 examples of the Spyder it plans to manufacture in total, Automotive News says that production is sold out through late March or early April - just a few months shy of when production is set to wrap in July.
That's pretty impressive for a car with a base price of almost $850,000, especially one requiring a $200,000 deposit just to get your name on the list. Still, that sum is significantly less than its competitors get for the McLaren P1 or LaFerrari, both of which sell for over a million (if you can actually get on one at that price), though in fairness, production of each is limited to less than half of the 918 Spyder.

Former Porsche CEO Wiedeking indicted over VW takeover bid

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

Do you recall the failed efforts by Porsche to take over Volkswagen? According to a Bloomberg report, former Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking (above) and ex-CFO Holger Haerter have finally been charged with market manipulation over the exercising of options as part of the German sportscar manufacturer's ill-fated attempt to take over the much larger VW. That failed bid eventually resulted in the reverse coming true - VW swallowing Porsche.
The charges leveled by Stuttgart prosecutors come after a three-year investigation centered around allegations that Porsche execs made a concerted effort to increase the company's share in VW to 75 percent in preparation for a hostile takeover. Porsche had previously told its investors on at least five occasions that it had no intention to buy VW.
Portions of the investigation have subsided, according to prosecutors, citing an inability to prove certain improprieties with a "necessary degree of certainty." The number of charges is down to 5 from a previous 14 counts regarding "information-based market manipulation."

Former Porsche boss Wiedeking won't face criminal charges over VW bid

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Hedge fund managers have been suing Porsche for years now, alleging that the car company lied about its intentions during its failed attempt to take over Volkswagen, a gambit that caused them billion in losses. Over the same period, authorities in Stuttgart built a criminal case against former CEO Wendelin Wiedeking (above, left) and Chief Financial Officer Holger Härter (right), filing charges in December 2012. When those fund plaintiffs lost their most recent court case, one of the dimming lights in the dark and receding tunnel was that the criminal investigation might unearth more evidence about Porsche's actions that could help the plaintiffs in pending litigation.
Bloomberg reports that another light has gone out, though, with a Stuttgart court dismissing the market manipulation case before going to trial because, as a court spokesperson said, "there wasn't enough evidence backing up the charges." When prosecutors get the files back from the court, they have a week to decide to refile, but unless they've been sandbagging evidence that could bolster the case, the only lights at the end of the tunnel will be those welcoming Wiedeking and Härter back to the world of legally unencumbered men.
