THIS IS A TRUE EXOTIC AUTOMOBILE. THIS PORSCHE IS IN GOOD SHAPE MECHANICALLY AND THE IRIS
METALLIC BLUE (L33P) HAS HELD UP RATHER WELL FOR ALL THESE YEARS W/SOME SUPERFICIAL SCRATCHES
PLUS THAT BACK BUMPER DOES NEED TO BE REPAIRED. DASHBOARD DOES HAVE SEVERAL CRACKS, AS DO ALL
PORSCHES' DO. MECHANICALLY, THIS PORSCHE IS BOTH QUICK AND SUPER FAST....THE CUSTOM EXHAUST
SOUNDS LIKE A CHEVY 350. THIS IS ONE OF THE FASTEST 928s I HAVE EVER DRIVEN. 928s WERE DESIGNED
TO TRAVEL ON THE GERMAN AUTOBAHN AT 160+ ALL DAY LONG AS THEY STILL DO TODAY. THIS CAR STILL
HAS A LOT OF "GET UP AND GO!" THIS CAR HAS BEEN MODIFIED OVER THE YEARS FOR SPEED, BUT HAS NEVER
BEEN "HOT-RODDED" OR ABUSED. PORSCHE ALWAYS STARTS, EVEN IN SUPER COLD AND HOT CHICAGO
WEATHER.
THIS CAR DOES NEED SOME COSMETICS (MINOR REPAIRS TO THE BODY AND INTERIOR) INCLUDING A GOOD
DETAILING. THIS CAR COMES WITH A BOX FULL OF RECEIPTS (HISTORY OF THE CAR) AND WON THE PORSCHE
PARADE AUTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1994.
THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT BACK IN MARCH 1990 IN MISSISSIPPI FOR $28,000.00 (I HAVE THAT ORIGINAL TITLE)
AND NOW COMES W/A CLEAR OHIO TITLE. OWNED BY THE SAME OWNER FOR THE LAST 23 YEARS. I WILL TRY TO
ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS VIA eBAY'S MESSAGE SYSTEM-SO ALL CAN READ THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.
AGAIN, THIS PORSCHE DOES NEED SOME MINOR COSMETICS (NOT PERFECT), BUT WITH A LITTLE MONEY
AND KNOW HOW IT COULD BE BROUGHT BACK TO PRISTINE CONDITION. WITH ALL THE NUMEROUS UPGRADES
IN THE MECHANICS (ENGINE, EXHAUST AND SUSPENSION) AND THE SUPER STEREO SOUND SYSTEM, IT'S WELL
WORTH THE LOW ASKING PRICE. SHOP AND COMPARE AND YOU BE THE JUDGE. GREAT CAR TO WORK ON OVER THE
LONG FALL/WINTER SEASON. BEST WISHES-THANKS FOR CHECKING THIS AUCTION OUT.

Porsche updates 919 Hybrid racer for 2015 season
Sun, Jan 18 2015Porsche's grand return to the elite level of global endurance racing showed mixed success in its first year. The company did score one victory in the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship season during the race in Brazil but finished in third place overall among the three factory manufacturers. Porsche is hoping for a few more wins in 2015 and is releasing its first shots of the updated car to achieve those triumphs when things kick off in April. The team's racer is still called the 919 Hybrid, but Porsche promises this second-generation version is a "comprehensive evolution" compared to last year. The most obvious change is the redesigned front end where the styling now features a simple horizontal intake running across the front (compare to 2014, below). The nose area also now flares out to the windshield. The side grows a more complicated look, though, with a series of fins just behind the driver compartment. Porsche isn't divulging many details about anything different under the skin. The 2015 919 is still propelled by a 2.0-liter turbocharged V4, and an electric motor powers the front wheels. There are also two energy recovery systems. In addition to the previous challengers from Audi and Toyota, Porsche has one more competitor in the factory ranks this season. The Nissan GT-R LM Nismo is rumored to be a radical departure from the rest of the field with an engine possibly located in front of the driver. Read the German brand's very brief release about the updated 919 Hybrid below and click through the gallery to see how it looks. Track debut for 2015 Porsche 919 Hybrid Stuttgart. Extensive testing with the second generation of Porsche's Le Mans prototype will begin on January 18, on Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit. As scheduled, this marks the start of the 2015 motorsport season for the Porsche Team. The new Porsche 919 Hybrid has already had its roll-out on the Weissach test track. As a next step, there will be several performance and endurance tests before the WEC season opener on April 12 in Silverstone, Great Britain. The new Porsche 919 Hybrid is a comprehensive evolution of the successful car that made its debut in 2014. It will feature the same innovative drivetrain concept consisting of a 2-litre V4 turbocharged petrol engine, an electric motor powering the front wheels, and two energy recovery systems. The new generation car had its first roll-out on December 15, 2014.
Porsche spotted testing next-gen Panamera in the snow
Thu, Jan 22 2015It's winter testing season in northern Sweden, and the latest spy shots our paparazzi on the ground have brought us is the upcoming Porsche Panamera testing in the cold and snow. The upcoming new four-door Porsche, spied wearing only minimal camouflage, appears to have a more elegant and sloping roofline than the existing model. Other details like the lights, mirrors and grille openings look fairly consistent with what we've been seeing on Porsche's other models as they've trickled out. Based on the new MSB platform, the new Panamera is set to share its underpinnings with the next Bentley Continental and possibly an Audi variant as well – though the prospect of a Lamborghini version to follow the Estoque concept seems to be off the table. The new platform will, however, make the new Panamera lighter than the current model. A new range of V6 and V8 engines are expected to provide motivation, driving the rear wheels or all four, along with the available e-hybrid system. Porsche's first four-door sedan was introduced in 2009 and underwent a facelift in 2013, so the all-new second-generation model should arrive sometime later this year or next as a 2017 model. This new model could provide the impetus for Porsche to put the Sport Turismo shooting brake version into production as well, and maybe – just maybe – a two-door coupe and possible convertible versions to follow in the footsteps of the 928.
Hamann Porsche Macan S Diesel promises more performance, questionable looks
Wed, Mar 4 2015Ignore the Gulf Oil livery for a minute (we know, it's hard). What we have under the blue-and-orange paint scheme is a diesel-powered Porsche Macan S, which is fascinating enough in and of itself. But this particular example has been upgraded by the folks at Hamann, for that added bit of oomph. Power output from the 3.0-liter V6 diesel is up from 258 horsepower to 300 hp. We buy diesels for torque, though, so it's the 494 pound-feet, up from 427 lb-ft, that really gets us excited about this modded Porsche. Taken together, the Hamann Macan S Diesel can hit 60 miles per hour in a decidedly un-diesel-like 5.7 seconds, down from 6.1 seconds. German tuners like Hamann are not known for their subtlety, of course, so beyond the power ugprades, the company has made its own aesthetic tweaks. The new body kit is, um, aggressive? Okay, it's really not very nice to look at. The Macan is a handsome vehicle on its own, but Hamann's efforts haven't done it any favors. It's extremely busy, particularly around the front and rear ends, where the tuning company's efforts seem focused. We're guessing some attention has been paid to the cabin, although it's impossible to tell on the Geneva show car, which has had all of its windows heavily tinted. Here's hoping any changes to Macan's cleanly styled cabin are kept to a minimum. Take a look at our full crop of live photos of the modded Macan, direct from the floors of the Geneva Motor Show. High-performance power, long-distance comfort, extravagance: the benchmark figures of the formidable Porsche Macan S Diesel are impressive. For all fans of the dynamic vehicle Hamann's tuning experts now sets the bar even higher. As is generally known, the model's name "Macan" was derived from the Indonesian word for tiger – and exactly this tiger Hamann frees from the ties of a series actor. The face of the Macan, which Hamann presents in the S Diesel version in Geneva, has self-confident traits. The tiger seems ready to jump – an effect achieved by the low line of the front apron and the lowering of the car. Hamann's aerodynamics attachment emphasises the sharp "teeth" of the Macan Turbo's standard front and sets distinctive accents. The car refiner's interpretation of the Macan S Diesel appears well-toned and is coherently continued in powerfully shaped wing extensions making the predator's body grow by twelve centimetres in width.
