Up for sale is my really clean and sharp 1984 Porsche 928s.This car is in really great condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It has a newer upgraded interior including leather dash, stainless steel weaved bucket seats , leather rear seats ,stereo with cd.I just replaced the oem radiator with a new after market aluminum racing style @ a cost of $900.00.The car has factory A/C and it works great !!The paint is very nice (9 out of10) with a few nicks mainly on the front edge of the hood as it sits really low for awesome handling. This car has new z rated tires and reconditioned oem wheels @ a cost of $2200.00.(wheels ALONE)I have an extensive file of receipts for all service and upgrades for its history.I am selling to help finance my new garage/residence on a down sizing project towards retirement. The reason for the rebuilt title was not a collision but a car ran up over the left front corner damaging the nose, fender and hood and due to the high cost to repair a Porsche they salvaged it.The owner then bought back and repaired.I have several photos to show all this and you can see just how minor it was. I am the 5th owner from what i was told and it has never been owned outside of Ohio. The only repair needing done is the odometer gear needs replaced which is very common for these cars .It was working when i bought it but I pushed the reset while driving and the old brittle gear must have snapped. There has probably been 1800 miles put on it since then, which can be reset while installing the new gear which is made from better material..I have the part and the instructions but not the time or patience to perform the task.Feel free to ask any questions and i hope the photos are valuable to show how nice this car really is.You can choose from several of these for sale but for this price range I feel this is the best value out there.Buy it drive it and enjoy it ,very reliable and a real head turner, not to mention fast.I installed new bosch wires and a k&n air filter recently, the battery is a year old.. I also replaced the gaudy factory t handle shifter with a new style carbon fiber shifter knob. The spoiler was upgraded to the much more desirable whale tail style really setting the car off from the rear. The factory tool kit is in place in the rear hatch .

Porsche exec confirms Macan Diesel for US
Wed, 15 Oct 2014The idea of a diesel-powered Porsche is the sort of thing that sounds really, really weird... until you actually drive it. The result of sticking glow plugs under the hood of Stuttgart's finest, though, is a vehicle that's nearly as entertaining as a gas-powered model but with much more torque and better fuel economy. Considering that, we think it's absolutely splendid news that following previous reports, Porsche has now confirmed a diesel-powered Macan for the US market.
"We are now busy with the development and the engineering," Andre Oosthuizen, Porsche's North American marketing VP, told Automotive News. "I can confirm that V6 diesel offering with about 245 horsepower."
Yep, that's the same 3.0-liter V6 found, most notably, in the CUV's Audi Q5 platform-mate as well as a plethora of other Volkswagen Group vehicles, both in the US and abroad. Stuttgart already offers the 3.0-liter oil-burner in the Euro-spec crossover, where it churns out 258 hp and 427 pound-feet of torque.
Porsche Cayman GT4 spotted at the N?rburgring
Tue, 13 May 2014It was just the other day that we first caught wind of Porsche's plans to build a GT4 version of the Cayman, and now we're already looking at spy shots of the vehicle in question undergoing testing at - where else? - the Nürburgring.
With more aggressive front-end aero, a GT3-style air vent ahead of the front hood, a large wing at the back, and spindly alloys packed with over-sized brakes at each corner, this Cayman is clearly more extreme than even the range-topping GTS. The rear diffuser and central exhaust tips look about the same as those you'd find at the back of the Cayman GTS, though.
What we can't see, of course, is what Porsche has slotted in under the rear glass, how it's upgraded the interior and how much weight it's stripped out of the thing to get it down to fighting weight, but you can bet it'll come with a substantial power bump and a stripped-out interior with racing buckets and little else to open the gap between it and the GTS... and close the gap to the 911 GT3 which it will join as the baby brother in Porsche's performance-focused lineup. McLaren P1 squares off against Porsche 918 in Evo track battle
Fri, Nov 21 2014Evo's side-by-side comparison of the McLaren P1 against the Porsche 918 Spyder isn't the first time we've seen England and Germany's ultimate automotive weapons sized up together; last month, Autocar tested them over the standing mile, with a Ducati 1199 Superleggera playing the joker. Evo throws a few curves at its test, though, taking the supercars to Anglesey Circuit in Wales to see which will lay down the fastest lap time with scribe Jethro Bovington at the wheel. In case the numbers haven't yet been seared into your memory, while both are assisted by electric motors, the 3,069-pound, rear-wheel drive P1 gets on with 903 horsepower and 664 pound-feet from a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V8. The 3,750-pound, all-wheel-drive 918 Spyder does its job with 795 hp and 575 lb-ft surging out of a naturally aspirated, 4.6-liter V8. We're not told know which circuit layout he uses for the test, but both cars comfortably eclipse the mark set by the fastest coupe Evo's driven around it so far, the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Then, in an epilogue occasioned by a tire change, one of the supercars comfortably eclipses its own time again, before Bovington declares one the master of the track and the other the ruler of the street. Enjoy finding out which is which in the video above.
