I loaned my 928 to a "friend" 3 years ago before i left and i just picked it back up. Apparently after the fuel pump failed he just left it outside to rot. Nice guy huh?
Luckily that was in southern California, or maybe i should say un-luckily.
The interior is completely ruined now. The leather seats are dried up and falling apart. The paint is in the same boat and just flaking off.
The good parts are the motor has great compression and runs fantastically. You'll need a new fuel pump to get it running though, i would also suggest removing the old fuel out of the tank.
The car has 43k orig miles. when i bought it there were 41k and i enjoyed driving it to and from LA to SF a few times. It handled great and earned me more than a few speeding tickets. Its really a wonderful car to drive, but in its current condition i dont have the heart to take on the project. That and the lady is not excited for the project either.
It is a 5 speed manual with a limited slip in the rear. I upgraded the headlamps to Hella H4 lights that are fantastically bright.
I have changed the wheels over to the S flat disc style and found the Euro 8" wide rear wheels which really fill out the fender much better than the stock 7" rims.
The tires are Yokohama AVS that are at full tread. Fronts are 225/50/16 and the rears are 245/45/16.
The car is otherwise completely stock.
I will offer to deliver the car within 500 miles for $0.50 per mile from 95136.
Use Google maps to see how far your house is from my zip code, multiply that mileage by $.50 per mile and that's the delivery cost.
Otherwise you'll need to come pick it up and it will need to be trailered.
If you live further than 500 miles, we might be able to work something out.

Porsche Boxster/Cayman GTS, Macan, 911 Targa details leaked
Fri, 27 Sep 2013The folks over at Jalopnik have published some rather interesting images from what looks to be a presentation held inside Porsche's North American headquarters in Atlanta, GA. What these leaked photos reveal is pretty significant - details about several of the brand's upcoming launches, including GTS versions of the Boxster and Cayman, a new 911 Targa, and information about the Macan crossover that will debut at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Of course, none of this information has been officially verified, but it all looks and sounds pretty believable to us. So, let's dig in.
First up, Porsche will launch the Boxster and Cayman GTS models at next year's Beijing Motor Show in April. Upgrades for the GTS models will include a 15-horsepower bump, standard manual transmission (with optional dual-clutch PDK), standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and a slightly quicker 0-60 time. Jalopnik reports that these models will cost around $75,000.
We've spied the soon-to-be-revealed Porsche Macan (pictured right) on several occasions, and these slides suggest that the small crossover will have two different types of turbo power under its hood. The Macan S will use a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, while the Macan Turbo will use a 3.6-liter unit. Seven-speed PDK transmissions are expected to be fitted to both, and this leaked information states that the new, small Porsche will cost $52,000 and $75,000 for the S and Turbo versions, respectively.
Watch onboard video of the Porsche 918 Spyder's record 'Ring lap
Tue, 10 Sep 2013"Pics or it didn't happen!" You could almost hear the Internet shouting this when news started to trickle in about a sub-seven-minute Nürburgring lap by the new Porsche 918 Spyder. Well, after an official press release, which we ran earlier today, we have your "pics." Moving pics, to be more exact. Porsche has released on-board footage of the 6:57 lap.
The video, which runs about eight-and-a-half minutes, and shows the 918 from inside the car on a flying lap of the German track. Perhaps what's remarkable is just how undramatic it all looks. Sure, there's some sawing at the wheel from test driver Marc Lieb (one of three testers, including legendary rally king Walter Röhrl), but he makes wrangling the Martini-liveried 918 look kind of easy.
Take a look down below for the full, on-board video, and then click over and read our initial write-up from earlier this morning and take a glance at the more stylized video that Porsche originally posted.
Wingsuits are somehow involved in new season of 'Top Gear'
Mon, Jan 14 2019It's a shame that Matt LeBlanc is leaving "Top Gear," but there's a bit of solace in the situation: There's still one more season of him as frontman. BBC just released the new trailer for series 26, and it shows LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid getting into all sorts of shenanigans around the globe. "Top Gear" announced LeBlanc's imminent departure back in May 2018, but he still had to finish one more season before leaving. Thus, the upcoming series will be his last, and it looks like he'll go out in a whirlwind of dust, bent metal, water spray and burnt rubber. The trailer shows everything expected from a season of the storied automotive show (well, everything except Hammond, May, and Clarkson, if you're one of those people). There will be precision driving, dubious stunts, name-calling and gobs of stunning videography. In the short one-minute clip, there are flashes of numerous attention-piquing vehicles. The new Bentley Continental GT, a Bentley Le Mans racer, Porsches, Ferraris, the Aston Martin Vantage, and the Mercedes-AMG GT all make appearances. And for some random fun, the boys are seen in wingsuits (doubtful it's actually them), and playing polo in some three-wheel rickshaws (before wrecking said rickshaws). We'll update with more information as soon as we know when the show will start.
