NO RESERVE!!!

Car is not new but in very good condition!

This beauty that runs and drives as good as it looks!! The car shows 33,100 miles on the odometer.  I have the original Porsche folder which contains some original paperwork from the president of Porsche and some brochures. The car has fresh paint as of Sep. 23rd, 2013. Body is in great condition with very minor if any noticeable flaws.

Car averages 30-35 mpg!

Door panels, cluster panel and carpet in very good condition. The dash does has a few cracks.

1988 was the last year of the 924s and the most rare of all. Only 2190 of these sports cars were imported in 1988. It has the 944 2.5L Engine from the factory. It has the most Horsepower of any 924... app. 160HP, with almost perfect 50/50 Weight Distribution. The clutch, belts, water pump, ect. was replaced around 2200 miles ago. The timing belt was replaced with a Goodyear Gator back, so it sounds like it's a supercharged engine under the hood. Car has power windows and mirrors. (Also heated)  5spd tranny and a removable center hard top for summer cruises. The power button for the removable hard top lock may need to be replaced, it will only unlock the top unless you swap the wires around on the motor.

All lights and gages work as they should.

Heat will set you on fire and the air is ice cold!!

You will be surprised the power of this little 2.5,  4 cylinder engine!

Car is in really good condition and needs very little to be considered a completely restored classic.

Minor issues include: Driver seat has a couple tears which can be repaired, dash could use a new cap due to some age cracks. (Cap is about $150 on Ebay)  Outside  driver door handle is broken, it looks fine but will not open from outside. (Ebay $75-$125)

You can feel confident driving this car home from ANYWHERE with no worries at all!

I bought this car to become my classic daily driver but now that we have a baby on the way, its just not pratical anymore.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

A Wicked-Fast Street Legal Multi-Tool
Walter Röhrl was carving up the circuit in the Porsche 911 Turbo S like a skilled Jedi Master - and I was sitting next to him, mesmerized by the breathtaking show. I had strapped myself securely into the front passenger bucket of the all-new coupe less than a minute earlier, expecting nothing more than a few quick laps around a track at the hands of another celebrated race driver. Been there, done that. Many times, actually.
Yet this was different. Röhrl was not only calculated and methodical in his approach, but his rally-tuned cerebrum appeared to be actively reading available grip levels while effortlessly tossing the all-wheel-drive Porsche into each corner at gut-wrenching speeds. His hands were moving rapidly, sending tiny steering corrections to the front tires, and he was using every inch of the track to extract more speed. We launched over a curb, dropped a wheel in the dirt and then drifted around a wide off-camber turn. His human precision and focus was astounding, and the performance he was extracting from the machine was just short of breathtaking.

Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
- Audi R8 V10 Plus

Autocar pits Porsche 911 Turbo S against Formula 4 racer

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

There is a long-running argument among performance car fans: power vs. weight. In one corner you get cars generally with small engines making modest numbers but able to corner like they are telepathic, and in the other there are big thumping mills that are rocketships in a straight line but lumber in the turns. Autocar takes an interesting look this continuum in a recent video pitting a 552-hp Porsche 911 Turbo S against a 185-hp Formula 4 racecar. It hopes to find whether the Porsche's huge power advantage is enough to defeat the better grip and aero offered by the nimble racer.
There's no doubt that the Porsche is an utterly fantastic road car. The 911 Turbo looks mean with all of those intakes to suck in cool air, and it backs up the posture with huge amounts of grip available thanks to its all-wheel drive-system. However, at 3,538 pounds, it's a bit of a porker compared to the 1,135-pound Formula 4 car. The open-wheel car boasts just a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder from Ford and a six-speed sequential-manual gearbox, but it has loads of downforce to make up for it.
It shouldn't be a surprise that the formula car wins in the corners. After all, that's what it's made for. So do you think the massive horsepower superiority of the Porsche is enough to even the playing field? Scroll down to watch the video and find out, and even if you're not curious of the winner the 911 does some mean powerslides.
