This low mile 1978 Porsche 924 is in stunning condition and has been well taken care of throughout its long life. This is one of the few models that Porsche made over the years that had a front engine, rear wheel drive configuration making it an essential part of Porsche history. It is a two door, four seater coupe, and its exterior is covered in the factory chocolate brown that creates an unexpected yet excellent contrast against the beautiful gold alloy wheels which makes this care something different and special. This car has done a good job against the test of time, however there are some discrepancies in the exterior which is to be expected for a car of this age in its original condition. The interior of this vehicle is covered in a classic yet tasteful tan leather which goes well with the dark brown carpets, and trimming that is present throughout the cockpit. The seats are very sporting, yet contribute a surprisingly comfortable ride. The door panels mirror the design cues from the rest of the car through the tan leather and brown trimming. All the carpets are in excellent shape and are factory original to this car. It is excellent throughout.

Auto Express reports Porsche will unveil the upcoming Macan SUV at this year's LA Auto Show. Citing an unnamed "insider," AE says that the five-door will bow with engines, suspension and interior architecture that will help differentiate it from its Audi Q5 chassis mate. Big shocker there. We've been hearing the same line since we first caught word of the Macan back when it was still rolling around under the Cajun name. The report does shed some light on the model's pricing, however. That same insider says the Porsche Macan will carry a price tag of 36,000 pounds.
What does that mean for American buyers? Do some quick math based on current conversion rates, and average UK and US prices, and we come up with a sticker of roughly $42,000 here in the land of the free. That fits in line with the rest of the company's stable, with the larger Cayenne starting at $49,600.
Still, we'll wait for more concrete word before jumping behind the AE report wholeheartedly. The 2013 LA Auto Show gets going in late November.

If the idea of a Porsche sedan (or, long hatchback) is still off-putting to you, then you might want to look away now. For 2014, the polarizing Panamera has received a midcycle refresh bringing slightly different styling, as well as adding two new models to the lineup, the S E-Hybrid and the stretched-wheelbase Executive. Having focused most of my recent trip to Germany on a First Drive of the intriguing plug-in Panamera, I also got to spend some time with the roomier Executive model.
Offered in both 4S and Turbo guise, the Panamera Executive has been stretched by almost six inches for the sole purpose of improving rear passenger space. Although it's hard to imagine anyone would willingly buy a Porsche and opt to sit in the back seat, I'd have to say that if I'm going to be chauffeured around in a car, why not make it a Porsche? For the most part, though, I'm guessing that many Panamera Executive sedans will be owned by people who want to one-up their buddy driving a stretched BMW 7 Series or Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
