Very Clean 914, one of the cleanest I've ever seen! 22k Original Miles, this car has spent most of its life in a garage.  It drives like a dream, reliable and accelerates quickly - shifts through all the gears flawlessly - stops well and evenly, and has A/C (I have spare parts for the a/c that I'm also including).

No rust to be found, all typical trouble areas have been inspected by a authorized Porsche dealer, only signs of surface corrosion found were a few bubbles on the outer rocker panel area shown in pics (Battery tray original and that area looks great),Floor boards, front and rear cargo area's-all solid.

The maintenance records and receipts are all included as well as the 2 original keys (1 red 1 black).

  • 22k original miles
  • Wide body / Slant nose
  • MOMO course Suede steering wheel
  • 14" Mahle BBS Wheels with high tread tires
  • Bosch ignition coil
  • Stainless Steel braided brake lines and all new hard lines

The Tan interior is in great condition and looks fantastic, (gets a lot of compliments) there is some typical sun fading and the seam on the drivers head rest is coming undone(shown in pics), nice oem Porsche leather shift knob and MOMO steering wheel, the Targa top is also in great shape. The paint is Silver with Black, this paint scheme was popular with the Chalon Body conversions, it is not show quality-more like driver quality with some chips & blemishes, there's a crack on the front passenger side fender shown in pics(I have access to reputable body shop and can have it repaired-just give me a call &we can discuss),but otherwise looks good.

McLaren P1 squares off against Porsche 918 in Evo track battle

Fri, Nov 21 2014

Evo's side-by-side comparison of the McLaren P1 against the Porsche 918 Spyder isn't the first time we've seen England and Germany's ultimate automotive weapons sized up together; last month, Autocar tested them over the standing mile, with a Ducati 1199 Superleggera playing the joker. Evo throws a few curves at its test, though, taking the supercars to Anglesey Circuit in Wales to see which will lay down the fastest lap time with scribe Jethro Bovington at the wheel. In case the numbers haven't yet been seared into your memory, while both are assisted by electric motors, the 3,069-pound, rear-wheel drive P1 gets on with 903 horsepower and 664 pound-feet from a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V8. The 3,750-pound, all-wheel-drive 918 Spyder does its job with 795 hp and 575 lb-ft surging out of a naturally aspirated, 4.6-liter V8. We're not told know which circuit layout he uses for the test, but both cars comfortably eclipse the mark set by the fastest coupe Evo's driven around it so far, the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Then, in an epilogue occasioned by a tire change, one of the supercars comfortably eclipses its own time again, before Bovington declares one the master of the track and the other the ruler of the street. Enjoy finding out which is which in the video above.

Porsche goes Platinum with special edition Cayenne

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

The other day, Porsche announced a new special edition of the Cayenne. We didn't pay it much heed because it appeared to be exclusive to Europe (or, at least, markets other than ours), but now Porsche has announced its availability in North America, as well.
It's called the Platinum Edition, and it's available exclusively on the entry-level models with either the 3.6-liter V6 or 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6. You can tell the special edition apart from any other Cayenne by the silver details (accenting the grilles, window trim and rear spoiler) and its two-tone black and beige leather interior. But what makes it a compelling choice is the long list of equipment, which Porsche has identified as the most requested options and fitted them as standard, including the eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist, Convenience Package and Bose audio.
Pricing starts at $63,300 for the Cayenne Platinum Edition, or $66,900 for the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition. That represents a premium of approximately $13,000 over a bone-stock model, but actually saves you a few grand if you were going to select all those options anyway. Check out the press release below for all the details.

Ferrari Speciale and Porsche GT3 make the trip to Le Mans

Thu, Aug 6 2015

Call it a pilgrimage. Call it a right of passage. The bottom line is that every racing fan should make the trip to Le Mans at some point. All the better if you can do it in style, as Evo has for this latest video. Instead of taking any old car through the Chunnel and along the French countryside to the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, Evo made the trip in the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3. Both are more extreme versions of the already capable sports cars. They're still naturally aspirated, drive the rear wheels through seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and both won top honors in Evo's car of the year awards upon their release. And we could hardly imagine better vehicles for the journey. Along the way, the convoy-of-two stopped by the side of the old Rouen-Les-Essarts circuit. Back in the 1950s and 60s it was regarded as one of Europe's finest street circuits, hosting the French Grand Prix five times. It was closed down and paved over in the decades that followed, and is today part of a public thoroughfare – but you can still drive around it and see some of the relics of its former self peering through.
