Porsche Carrera 911 4s Awd 6 Speed on 2040-cars
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
2004 911 Porsche Carrera 4 S all wheel drive. 6 speed, Power seats, PW, PL, leather, AM/FM/CD audio system, heated seats. This car is in excellent condition with 63,956 miles on it. The black paint is shiny and smooth. I saw a couple of rock chips on the drivers fender and one rock chip on the hood. Otherwise the car looks excellent. The engine compartment looks like brand new and also the trunk. The interior has leather seats with very little wear and no rips or bad areas. The top goes up and down very nicely and the rear wind wing goes up over 70 miles an hour plus manually. The tires are in excellent condition and have a lot of miles left on them. The car is located in Phoenix Arizona even though the plates say Mn because we are down here for the winter. I have a clean clear Mn title for this car. I have no idea why the vin doesn't bring up the report but the car is in excellent condition. You can get in it and drive it anywhere and it needs nothing. This is an excellent all wheel drive sports car clean well maintained and ready to go. If you have questions on it or want to look at it please call me on my cell phone. Thanks Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722 |

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S
Wed, 04 Sep 2013A Wicked-Fast Street Legal Multi-Tool
Walter Röhrl was carving up the circuit in the Porsche 911 Turbo S like a skilled Jedi Master - and I was sitting next to him, mesmerized by the breathtaking show. I had strapped myself securely into the front passenger bucket of the all-new coupe less than a minute earlier, expecting nothing more than a few quick laps around a track at the hands of another celebrated race driver. Been there, done that. Many times, actually.
Yet this was different. Röhrl was not only calculated and methodical in his approach, but his rally-tuned cerebrum appeared to be actively reading available grip levels while effortlessly tossing the all-wheel-drive Porsche into each corner at gut-wrenching speeds. His hands were moving rapidly, sending tiny steering corrections to the front tires, and he was using every inch of the track to extract more speed. We launched over a curb, dropped a wheel in the dirt and then drifted around a wide off-camber turn. His human precision and focus was astounding, and the performance he was extracting from the machine was just short of breathtaking.
Porsche Cayman GTS in track battle with 996 GT3
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Here's your tough question of the day: Would you rather drive a new Porsche Cayman GTS or a slightly older, 996-era Porsche 911 GT3? Certainly, both cars have their plusses. The Cayman is the more modern proposition, sure, but the GT3 is, well, a GT3. So yes, it's a tough decision.
If you're one of the lucky souls that have to make that choice, then this video from Evo should prove pretty helpful. It's a track battle, starring Jethro Bovingdon with a new GTS and an old GT3.
Calling the GTS "fantastically agile" and "fast, but it's also hilariously good fun," Bovingdon bangs home a solid lap time of 1:05.2 before switching to the GT3. It's remarkable to see just how dated the 996-generation 911 looks after viewing the newer Porsche, and from where we sit, it's further proof that the old car's headlights are something that's best forgotten. Styling qualms aside, though, can the GT3 keep up with its racy younger cousin?
