THIS IS A 2 OWNER CAR, ORIGINALLY PURCHASED IN TEXAS NEW, AND THEN SHIPPED TO FLORIDA. THE ORIGINAL OWNER PUT ABOUT 30K MILES ON IT. THE CAR WAS MAINTAINED AT PORSCHE OF NORTH HOUSTON BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THE CURRENT OWNER PRIMARILY AT REEVES IMPORT MOTORCARS, TAMPA. WE HAVE COPIES OF THE MAINTENANCE THAT WAS DONE. THE CURRENT OWNER HAS JUST REPLACED THE BATTERY AND THE 2 REAR TIRES WITH SUGGESTED MICHELINS. THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED AT 38K MILES AS IT APPEARED NOT TO SHIFT AS SMOOTHLY AS THIS PERFORMANCE CAR SHOULD (WHICH DID CURE THE PROBLEM)

MECHANICALLY, THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, NO PROBLEMS DETECTED. COSMETICALLY ONLY MINOR FLAWS, THE BIGGEST IS THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT WASHER IS PUSHED IN FOR SOME REASON, THE ONLY WAY TO REPAIR IT IS TO REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER TO PUSH BACK INTO PLACE, THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT BUMPER HAS SCUFFS (SEE PHOTO), WHICH IS ACTUALLY PRETTY NORMAL FOR THIS CAR AS IT RIDES SO LOW. THERE IS ONE MINOR DING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, THERE ARE NO NOTICEABLE SCRATCHES I CAN SEE OR OTHER NOTICEABLE PAINT FLAWS, THERE MAY BE A CHIP OR 2 BUT NOT NOTICEABLE BY MY EYES. (JUST GIVING YOU FULL DISCLOSURE AS THERE MAY BE NONE). THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE, LEATHER OR CARPET SHOWS NO SIGNS OF WEAR, THERE ARE MINOR SCUFFS ON THE DOOR PANEL AND KICK PLATE FROM GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE CAR. THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE AND STEERING WHEEL HAVE NORMAL WEAR. THE A/C FAN SWITCH HAS WORN OFF, WHICH UNFORTUNATELY IS COMMON FOR THESE CARS.

THIS CAR CAN BE SEEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, AND CAN BE INSPECTED BY A CERTIFIED MECHANIC. IT CURRENTLY DOES HAVE A PARTIAL LOAN ON IT AT A LOCAL BANK. IT IS BEING SOLD BECAUSE IT IS A 3RD VEHICLE THAT ISN'T BEING USED ENOUGH. A $500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE UPON EBAY PURCHASE. Porsche kicks off Macan production at revamped Leipzig plant

Sun, 16 Feb 2014

After over two years of construction and roughly 500 million euros ($684 million at current rates) invested, Porsche finally opened its Leipzig, Germany, factory expansion on February 11. The improvements to the plant are dedicated to building the Macan and include a new body shop, paint shop and assembly line that are advancing Porsche's goal to sell 50,000 Macan's per year. The company believes that the new model is going to push it to over 200,000 annual sales 3 years ahead of schedule, and the enlarged branch can support even more Macan production, if there is demand.
"We are totally convinced in the qualities of this location and that the Macan will be a marketing success," said Porsche Chairman Matthias Müller during the opening celebration. The company opened its Leipzig factory in 2002 to build the Cayenne and added Panamera production in 2009.
The Macan models are due to launch in the US this summer with prices starting at $49,900. Scroll down to learn all of the details about the Macan's Leipzig assembly plant.

Top Gear drag races VW Golf R against McLaren 675LT and Porsche 911

Thu, Apr 7 2016

Top Gear's latest quarter-mile drag race in the collects three very different performance vehicles: the 296-horsepower Volkswagen Golf R, 424-hp Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, and 666-hp McLaren 675LT. While each of these cars sit near the top of their segment, they each come from totally different rungs of the sports car price ladder. Spoiler alert, the Golf R doesn't win. But the final results illustrate the diminishing returns of price and performance. For example, the McLaren is only about a second quicker than the Porsche to 60 miles per hour, but the 675LT costs over 2.5 times more that the GTS. Related Video:
