Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 2-door on 2040-cars
Perth Amboy, New Jersey, United States
You are looking at a very clean 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe. Finished in India Red over Black leather this Porsche is the best color combo out there. This is a ONE OWNER car with only 79,234 original miles. The Carfax is clean, no stories here. This is the car you want to collect, this 911 will be unattainable to buy in the near future. The car has been professionally repainted. The repaint is better than factory, I would give the paint job a solid 9.5 out 10. The car paint meters from 5.0-9.5 on average. There is no body work anywhere on the car. All panels have the original VIN stickers in place where they should be. The front hood has the original order option code sticker. The interior is immaculate, the seats have virtually no wear, the leather is still soft. The interior smells like fresh new leather. The headliner is like new. The car was garage stored it's entire life. The car runs and drives excellent and the engine is dry underneath. The clutch and transmission operate great.

Porsche continues facelift spree with 911 Turbo
Fri, 24 Jan 2014If there's ever been automotive case for constant evolution, it is the Porsche 911. It seems like every time a new version of the rear-engined sports car debuts, Porsche is already hard at work on a facelifted version of it that changes some subtle, barely noticeable aspect.
Such is the case with this round of images of a facelifted 911 Turbo, which was seen undergoing winter testing alongside the facelifted, hardtop-version of the 911 Cabriolet we showed you yesterday. The new, 991-based 911 Turbo was just unveiled in May of 2013.
Like the Cabrio from yesterday, both the Turbo and naturally aspirated models shown here feature additional slats at the rear of the car, right behind the rear wheels. These slats on the standard model lend credence to what we learned yesterday - that even the regular 911 models could end up getting turbocharged mills.
Ruf Turbo Florio is the Turbo Targa Porsche won't sell you
Thu, Mar 5 2015Porsche offers a staggering array of 911 variants. You can get the Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Carrera 4 GTS and Turbo and Turbo S (to say nothing of the GT3 and new GT3 RS). And with few exceptions, you can get each as a coupe, cabrio or Targa. Except you can't get a Turbo Targa. The partial-convertible model tops out at the GTS. But if the one thing you really wanted was a Targa with a turbo engine, the folks over at Ruf will be glad to hook you up with the tuned version you see here. It's called the Ruf Turbo Florio, taking the latter part of its handle from the second part of the Sicilian road race where Porsche got the name for its lift-top in the first place. But Ruf's take doesn't just match the factory Turbo's output – it far exceeds it: with 621 horsepower and 608 pound-feet of torque on tap, it'll put even the 911 Turbo S (on Sport Plus overboost, no less) to shame. Plus you can get it with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT, driving all four wheels like the factory Turbo or just the rear set like the GT2 that Porsche doesn't even make any more. It'll top out at 205 miles per hour, and all the while with the wind in your hair – but not too much of it. Related Video:
