2007 997 (911) Turbo with 36K miles. 6-speed manual transmission with Sport Chrono pkg, Full leather Sport Seats, 6CD Changer, Sport Shifter, Thicker Sport Steering Wheel, Porsche Crest in headrests, and Full Leather pkg totaling to a $128,280 MSRP.

I had Topspeed Motorsport build the car with the use of some Protomotive 63.5 VTG's. All mods were done in January of this year about 1500-2000 miles ago. The car made 682whp and 761wtq on the dyno, but I asked them to back the torque down to ~700wtq to make it super safe.  The car runs on E85 and is tuned for that.  It can be retuned for 93 octane.  It has just had the coolant fix done by Topspeed Motorsports 2 months ago.  The slave and master cylinder were also replaced in the last 6 months.  This car has had every service done and on time.  It has never been tracked or raced.

Full mod list:

Protomotive 63.5 VTG's
Kline Exhaust with 200 Cell Cats
1150cc Injectors
Sach's 2.5 Clutch
New OEM Flywheel
997.2 Intercoolers
5 Bar FPR
TSM E85 calibration

The car has a clear bra on the front bumper, hood, and front fenders.  There is a scrape in the front bumper that may have only discolored the clear bra, but most likely it is in the paint on the front bumper.  It doesn't bother me, so I never bothered to fix it.  The check engine light is on because of the smaller than factory catalytic converters.  The car runs and drives perfectly.  The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports and have only 4,000 miles on them.

I'm only selling to build a high hp GT-R.  If it doesn't sell, I'll just continue to drive and enjoy it.

Singer 911 gorgeousness explored and experienced by Chris Harris

Thu, 17 Jan 2013

Few things get us as cranked up as a Porsche 911. Generation after generation, this rear-engined oddity has exhilarated our senses, and the new 991 is the most capable iteration yet. Even so, there's a lot to be said for the older models, from their lighter weights and more modest dimensions to their air-cooled thrums.
That elemental vintage Porsche appeal hasn't been lost on Los Angeles-based Singer Vehicle Design, which has endeavored to take the best bits from every generation of 911 and combine them into one impossibly sexy rear-engined machine. Based on a 964 donor car, we knew that a lot of work would need to go into everything from the structure to the bodywork to realize the Singer's cohesive aesthetic and dynamic vision, but we didn't know just how much until we watched this Drive video featuring Chris Harris. The auto journo gets time with the 350-horsepower, Cosworth-motivated coupe on both mountain passes and at the track, but what could be the most interesting thing about the 27-minute-long video is his in-depth plant tour.
Check it out by scrolling below, but not before paging through our new Singer 911 gallery.

These were our favorite cars of 2022

Tue, Dec 20 2022

Favorite cars is different than best cars. The idea of "best" can speak to value and overall competitiveness in a given vehicle segment. There's lots of objectivity involved and to do a "best" list right, one really must be very thorough and as scientific as possible. This is not that list. This is about our favorites, so objectivity be damned. If we liked a Challenger Hellcat because it made loud noises or a Honda Odyssey because it made for a particularly special family vacation, fair game. These were the cars that most spoke to our collection of editors and the ones that stayed in our minds and hung in our hearts long after they left our driveway. — Senior Editor James Riswick 2022 GMC Hummer EV Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: I didn't particularly expect to like the new Hummer. I wasn't a fan of the Hummer H2 or H3, so I wasn't automatically enthusiastic about this electric reboot. Fast EVs aren't hard to come by — and, in fact, may be too easy to come by — so its performance specs weren't enough to win me over. Despite videos to the contrary, pickups aren't my favorite vehicular format. And its excessive size and weight turned me off ... until I finally got behind the wheel.  This thing is wildly entertaining to drive. Watts to Freedom launch control is a neat party trick, sure, but the novelty wears off quickly. The novelty of Crab Walk, however, has staying power. The rear-wheel steering makes this behemoth feel much smaller than it is — the maneuverability is incredible, and useful. The air suspension provides tons of clearance, including a ridiculously high-riding Extract mode. I can't wait for lesser versions of the Hummer to make their way to market. Give me less power (for less money), but keep the off-road tricks onboard, and I'll be a happy camper. Senior Editor, Consumer, Jeremy Korzeniewski: If I could afford to put one of these in my driveway, I would. Sadly, I can't, so I won't (What's that, Janet? I got the lyric wrong?). Still, I love the dumb thing. Thankfully, I have another choice down below. 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Associate Editor Byron Hurd: Yeah, duh, Porsches are good. But there's good, and then there's GT3. This is the feeling every performance-oriented RWD tuner is trying to replicate. This is hard, precise, surgical and immensely satisfying. To begin to explore this car on a public road is by itself an admission that you believe yourself to be above the rules as they apply to normal drivers.

The 2014 Ruf RCT offers rear-drive action with 911 Turbo fun

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Ruf has 37 years of experience of turning Porsches into even higher performance machines. For the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it's unveiling the RCT, or Ruf Carrera Turbo, which offers power to split the difference between Porsche's 911 Turbo and Turbo S models.
The RCT starts with a unique body kit with a new front air dam and drastically changed rear deck that combines both a small spoiler and air intake. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter flat-six with 525 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque paired to either a seven-speed manual or seven-speed dual clutch transmission. That gives the Ruf a 5-hp and 15-lb-ft advantage over Porsche's own Turbo but is still less powerful than the full Turbo S. The RCT sprints to 62 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds and to a top speed of 196 mph.
However, the Ruf's big advantage is that it offers buyers the choice of either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while Stuttgart's turbo models are only available spinning all four wheels. The RCT can also offers upgrades like an integrated roll cage and custom suspension packages, should the buyer be so inclined to splash out on racing kit.
