Up for sale is our 2009 Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet that we purchased as a certified pre owned vehicle in December 2011 from a local Porsche dealership here is Southern California. The car comes with an extended warranty good until Dec 2015 or 100,000 miles. The car is in great condition and recently was serviced at our local Porsche dealer. A new set of tires installed at the tune of $3,000. Everything is in awesome mechanical condition with no known problems or issues. The car has always been garaged or covered so the exterior paint is in great condition and is silky smooth to the touch. The interior is beautiful with its cocoa brown leather with white stitching. The color combo for this car is very classy with the Arctic sliver and cocoa top. This car is heavily optioned and originally was over $118,000.00. Please see photos for option sheet.
Please note that the car is listed locally and this Ebay listing can end at anytime. I will not be offering any shipping on this transaction. You can pick the car up locally or arrange a shipping company to come pick up the vehicle which we will be more than happy to work with. We will only be accepting certified funds or wire transfers. The vehicle will not ship or transfer until all funds have cleared my bank. I have experienced counterfeit cashiers checks so I am extremely cautious and hope you understand the delay in funds clearing. If you read my feed back I only sell items that I or someone in my family has personally owned. I am not in the business as a reseller, just a regular Joe selling his items and I have a stellar feedback and plan on keeping that way.
If you have any questions about the car please feel free to email me anytime and I will answer them all in a timely fashion.

Porsche Macan sales may push brand past 200K unit goal early
Tue, 13 Aug 2013In late 2010, Volkswagen announced that it would spend the equivalent of $71 billion through 2015 to beef up its product lineup, determined to overtake Toyota in overall sales and profitability by 2018. Each of VW's many brands, in turn, would play its part contributing to a goal of 10 million sales per year. VW-owned Porsche was expected to sell 200,000 vehicles per year by 2018, but with the imminent arrival of the Macan small sport utility vehicle in 2014, the automaker is poised to meet that goal years ahead of schedule, Automotive News reports.
Porsche sold 143,096 cars in 2012, and IHS Automotive predicts Porsche will sell 63,000 Macans in 2014, according to Automotive News, which would make it the brand's best-selling vehicle. Do the math and you can see how Porsche could easily beat original expectations ahead of schedule. But Porsche's sales and marketing boss Bernhard Maier says not so fast: "We will not offer [63,000 Macans] in 2014 as we will still be ramping up production and introducing models top down," he told Automotive News Europe. Whether Porsche surpasses the 200,000 mark early or not, he said, the company will not set a new sales target and will remain committed to its business model.
The Macan shares its architecture with the Audi Q5, but Porsche will be able to charge more for its SUV. Tim Urquhart, a senior analyst at IHS Autmotive, told Automotive News that Porsche can charge 10 to 20 percent more, for what is basically the same SUV, than other VW Group brands. How's that for brand value?
Porsche 911 Turbos, and the new Lotus Emira | Autoblog Podcast #686
Fri, Jul 9 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. The two talk about their experiences in the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet, then pivot to talking about the BMW M3 Competition on the Indiana Nurburgring. They follow that up by discussing driver assistance systems, given recent experience in the 2021 Cadillac Escalade with Super Cruise and Hyundai's Highway Drive Assist. After that, they get into some news, talking about the new Lotus Emira and Genesis G80 Sport. Finally, they wrap up with a rather interesting two-for-one "Spend my Money" edition where they help two listeners with different car buying conundrums. Ruf Turbo Florio is the Turbo Targa Porsche won't sell you
Thu, Mar 5 2015Porsche offers a staggering array of 911 variants. You can get the Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Carrera 4 GTS and Turbo and Turbo S (to say nothing of the GT3 and new GT3 RS). And with few exceptions, you can get each as a coupe, cabrio or Targa. Except you can't get a Turbo Targa. The partial-convertible model tops out at the GTS. But if the one thing you really wanted was a Targa with a turbo engine, the folks over at Ruf will be glad to hook you up with the tuned version you see here. It's called the Ruf Turbo Florio, taking the latter part of its handle from the second part of the Sicilian road race where Porsche got the name for its lift-top in the first place. But Ruf's take doesn't just match the factory Turbo's output – it far exceeds it: with 621 horsepower and 608 pound-feet of torque on tap, it'll put even the 911 Turbo S (on Sport Plus overboost, no less) to shame. Plus you can get it with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT, driving all four wheels like the factory Turbo or just the rear set like the GT2 that Porsche doesn't even make any more. It'll top out at 205 miles per hour, and all the while with the wind in your hair – but not too much of it. Related Video:
