2007 Porsche Carrera 4 coupe You are looking at a well maintained, recently serviced Grey Metallic Porsche with grey/black interior. I bought the car with only 1200 miles and it is in very good condition with very few blemishes on the outside and a few minor defects on the interior. The main extras are the 19 inch wheels and an upgraded Kenwood radio/CD/DVD/GPS/iPhone/Bluetooth system with rear camera installed 18 months ago. You will also get the original stereo console if you prefer the original equipment, but installation will be up to buyer. The CARFAX report is clear and available upon request. I just had this car serviced and evaluated by my trusted mechanic and it passed with flying colors. The tires have about 50% left in them. CEO says Volkswagen's buying spree is over

After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.
Translogic 166: Porsche 918 Spyder
Mon, Dec 15 2014In the same month that Porsche announced that its 918 Spyder is sold out, Translogic is getting its first (and likely last) shot at the plug-in hybrid hypercar. Our drive starts off in a very civilized fashion as we tour the 918 Spyder's e-power and hybrid modes, but the fun really starts when the naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V8 engine roars to life in sport and race hybrid modes, augmenting the electric motors with an additional 608 horsepower for a total of 887. We even attempt an impromptu 0-60 test to see if we can match Porsche's gobsmacking official time of 2.5 seconds, but sadly we don't have the room to make a run on its 214-mph top speed. 1986 Porsche 959 Prototype at Barrett-Jackson sees gavel fall at $440,000 [UPDATE: w/video]
Sat, 19 Jan 2013Fans of Porsche in America have longed for the chance to buy a 959 ever since the German automaker produced and sold it (well, sold it everywhere but the United States...) in the 1980s. Well, they just had their chance. The car you see above is a Porsche 959 prototype built in 1986, and only one other running prototype still exists.
The 959 prototype can't be driven on public roads, as it carries no such certification. Somehow, we doubt that matters all that much to the new buyer - this one is probably going to be sitting in a collection. When the gavel finally fell, bidding had reached $400,000, plus a 10-percent buyer's fee.
