Hello and thank you for viewing this one-of-a-kind factory 997S.  If you are looking for a car that nobody else will have, well, you have found it.  I live in Southern California where Porsches are everywhere.  Fortunately for me, this car is the best on the road and gets compliments whenever driven.  I have yet to see another like this and if you know Porsches, you know that this car is EXTREMELY RARE.  Not only is the color a Factory specific option, the factory aerokit really sets it apart for others.  You can find many Porsches with after-market goodies but you will be hard-pressed to find a car like this that is stamped with a certificate of authenticity from Porsche NA.  All books and records accompany this car and it is the cleanest and nicest 2006 Porsche 997 on the market (one that is enjoyed at least)  This car is always garaged and wheres very little miles.  There is ZERO issues with this car and it is ready to go.  All it needs is a new home, a driver that loves it like I do and a road to stretch it's legs.  All in all, this car can be enjoyed or taken to shows.  It also comes with a custom painted set of Lobster Forks that will match the interior of the car.  Please contact me with any questions.  I know this car in and out and love to talk about it.  It will be stored in my garage and only driven on test drives.  I have another car to drive, so this car will be all detailed and fresh for the new owner.  The interior is fresh and still smells like a new car.  The upholstery is perfect with not rips, tears or pulls.  The whole interior is factory full leather and the stitching is perfect.  No separations or fading of any kind.  Quick specs as follows:

2006 Porsche Carrera "S", Full Stone Leather Interior, Factory Short Shift Kit, Carbon Fiber Interior, Sport Chrono Plus Package, Carbon Fiber Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Porsche Crest in Headrest, Fold Down Rear Seats, Bose Surround System, Cobatl Blue Metallic Exterior, Factory Aerokit, Factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE), Beautiful Tint all around, Lowered with H&R sport Springs, Avant Garde Ruger Mesh 19" with Michellin PS2's, Chin Spoiler painted with Factory Cobalt paint to match, Heated Seats, Extra Set of Porshe Wheel with Painted Caps.

This car is listed on other Sale Venues.  I reserve the right to sell the car locally and delete this ad at any time.  Buyer is responsible for all payment for shipping this vehicle.  I will happily assist with shipping this vehicle.

Top 11 Lego Technic cars to buy on Amazon in 2024

Mon, Jan 22 2024

Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change. I recently got a birthday wish list from my 11-year-old nephew, and I couldn't help but smile when I saw “Lego Technic Cars” at the top. Lego isnÂ’t a phase, itÂ’s a lifestyle. Once a Lego fan, always a Lego fan. In fact, IÂ’d be willing to bet that many of you reading this right now have some kind of Lego vehicle in a box somewhere, or better yet, on display in your home. While theyÂ’re not necessarily cheap, getting into building Lego Technic vehicles doesnÂ’t have to bankrupt you, either, unless you go for the $400 Lamborghini right off the bat. Here are 11 of our favorite Lego Technic vehicles on Amazon, right now, ranging from an affordable $35 all the way up to $450. LEGO Technic Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Ages 9+ (544 Pieces) - $39.99 (20% off) One of my first and favorite model cars growing up was a first-gen Ford Mustang GT350, so this GT500 for under $40 is right up my alley. At 544 pieces and made for ages 9 and up, the GT500 is a considerable step up from Grave Digger but a great starter to a Technic collection nonetheless. It isnÂ’t the most accurate-looking vehicle in this list, but the AR app and the fact that it can drive make it a worthwhile purchase. $39.99 at Amazon LEGO Technic Formula E Porsche 99X Electric Ages 9+ (422 Pieces) - $49.99 Not a Ford fan? Not a problem. This Formula E Porsche 99X is the same price and better looking than the GT500. Even though there are 122 fewer pieces in this Porsche set, it has a level of detail seen in much more expensive Technic sets including numerous decals and a pull back motor.  $49.99 at Amazon LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler Ages 9+ (665 Pieces) - $54.99 This is the set I ended up going with for my nephew, not because I think it is the coolest, but because for the price, I think you get the most bang for your buck. 665 pieces is over 50% more than the comparatively priced Porsche 99X and it also scratches the nostalgia itch for me: The first-ever model vehicle I built was a yellow Jeep Wrangler Sahara. This Wrangler Rubicon has definitely had some aftermarket mods like the front winch, which makes it one of the coolest Technic sets under $60.  $54.99 at Amazon LEGO Technic Monster Jam Grave Digger Ages 7+ (212 Pieces) - $34.16 If ever there was a gateway Lego Technic, this Grave Digger is it.

Gary Cooper's 1935 Duesenberg SSJ fetches record price at Pebble Beach

Mon, Aug 27 2018

The 1935 Duesenberg SSJ formerly owned by Gary Cooper sold for a jaw-dropping $22 million over the weekend at the Gooding & Co. Pebble Beach auction, setting a record for the most valuable pre-war car ever sold at auction. It also appears to have become the most expensive American collector car ever sold at auction, eclipsing the very first Shelby Cobra ever made, which sold for $13.75 million in 2016. The Duesenberg was also the lone American-made entrant in the list of top 10 sellers, which was crowded with the names Ferrari and Porsche. You have to go all the way down the list to No. 21 to find the next American car: a 1930 Packard 734 Speedster Phaeton, which sold for a mere $1.127 million. All told, Gooding & Co. said it realized more than $116.5 million in auction sales over the weekend, with a whopping 25 cars sold for north of $1 million, an 84 percent sales rate and an average transaction price of $947,174. Clearly this is how the other half 1 percent lives. Gooding & Co. said there were five world-record sales at the auction. Joining the Duesenberg were a 1955 Ferrari 500 Mondial Series II, which sold for $5.005 million; a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France Berlinetta, $6.6 million; a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Speciale, $3.41 million; and a one-of-two 1966 Ferrari Dino Berlinetta GT, $3.08 million. Oh, and that 1969 Ford Bronco test vehicle we told you about? The one that was rebadged by Holman & Moody as a Bronco Hunter? It sold for $121,000, which was well below the expected range of $180,000 to $220,000. Perhaps it was the presence of all those gorgeous Porsche Spyders and Ferraris that meant collectors weren't interested in boxy, utilitarian off-roaders. View 24 Photos Gooding and Co. had expected the convertible Duesenberg coupe to go for more than $10 million. It was one of only two of its kind built by Duesenberg — the other having gone to Clark Gable — with a specially shortened, 125-inch wheelbase and a supercharged straight-eight with double overhead cams, able to produce around 400 horsepower and a top speed of 140 miles per hour. It features a lightweight open-roadster bobtail body produced by LaGrande out of Connersville, Ind. The car was also owned at one point by race driver Briggs Cunningham.

'Latest production version' of Porsche 918 shown off on Twitter

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Porsche posted a picture of what it is calling "the latest production version" of the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder on Twitter. It looks like the gasoline-hybrid supercar is being driven sportively on some California back roads during Monterey Speed Week.
Whatever updates were made to this version aren't visual (except for the paint), as the one Chris Harris drove last spring and another seen hot-weather testing in Nevada both had production bodies. We presume the changes are relatively minor and more than skin deep - perhaps brake calibration, suspension tuning or tweaks to the powertrain - but Porsche didn't release any more information.
The 918 Spyder is Porsche's latest supercar, which will compete with the LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 hybrid supercars. The Porsche may be the underdog of the group when considering horsepower, acceleration, top speed and price, but the 887-horsepower brute has the most advanced hybrid drivetrain of the three.
