This car is loaded with a sea of options that makes driving this car a sheer joy & thrill. Partial list of options below. The car has been garage kept and well maintained. I will include all maintenance records for the vehicle since I have owned it. HUGE PLUS … I own a transferable bumper-to-bumper warranty with roughly 2 years left on it. It expires in May 2016. The cost to transfer the warranty in your name is only $100. HUGE, huge benefit that will put your mind to rest with a purchase of an elite sports car like a 911 Turbo. It’s an awesome bumper-to-bumper warranty with only a $100 deductible should anything need repair. Mechanically, this car is in excellent condition. No known issues and drives like a dream. If you like 911s, you will LOVE driving this car! Cosmetically, I have included pictures with 3 nicks on the body. Each is minor as you’ll see in the pictures. She has 64k miles on her. I am the second owner. I purchased the vehicle in May 2009 with 50k miles on it. I have only added 14k miles over the last 5 years. She has driven like a dream since the day I bought her and she continues to do so today. If you’ve ever driven a 911 Turbo then you’ll understand how special of a vehicle these cars are. Porsche 911 RSR stops just long enough to have its photo taken

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

When it comes to Porsche and its rapidly escalating endurance racing program, all eyes may be on the new 919 Hybrid - and with good reason: that's the vehicle with which Porsche will be challenging the likes of Audi and Toyota for wins in the top-tier LMP1 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship and at Le Mans. But it's the 911 RSR that does and will continue to form the backbone of the factory's effort.
The 470-horsepower racing version of the road-going 911 took a one-two finish in its class at Le Mans last year, and also won its class at the Daytona 24 this past January as well. This year Porsche will field two of them in the WEC, another two in the United SportsCar Championship here in the US and will sell countless more to customer racing teams that will undoubtedly continue to rack up trophies in racing series around the world. This, then, might be a unique chance to see one standing still. Check it out in our gallery of live images above from the Geneva Motor Show.

NFL draft recruits to get Porsche 911s for fastest 40 times

Thu, Feb 5 2015

It's fair to say the NFL Combine is a big deal for players entering a draft. Their future quite literally comes down to a series of drills. You a defensive tackle? Better rock out on the bench press. Hoping to be the next great wide receiver? Your vertical better be awesome. And what of the running backs? Well, few drills match the importance of the 40-yard dash. That particular drill will have a renewed importance not just for the RBs, but for other skill positions at this year's Combine, as the three fastest times will be gifted a shiny new Porsche 911. Adidas is offering up the three cars, which ESPN reports are valued at about $83,000 a piece. That means these new recruits won't be rolling around in a Turbo or GT3. They will, however, sport a questionable sense of design, as the German shoe company has fitted a cheetah print, which is meant to match one of the company's new trainers. You can check both the car and the shoe out above. NFL fans, meanwhile, should feel free to head into Comments and let us know who you think will take home a new 911. Related Video:

Porsche planning back-to-basics 911 GT

Fri, Jun 5 2015

With the latest 911 GT3 and GT3 RS track toys, Porsche clearly put the emphasis on outright performance. After all, if they were all about a puristic driving experience, they'd probably have manual transmissions instead of DCTs, right? Well that's just one point where the Porsche GT division's next project is tipped to depart. According to Autocar, Zuffenhausen's skunkworks are preparing a new addition to the 911 range that will put all the emphasis on the raw driving experience, even at the expense of lap times. The yet-to-be-named model is expected to do away with the second clutch in favor of one you can operate yourself, but that's not all. We're told to expect skinnier tires to make it easier to hold at the limits of adhesion, the narrowed track from the base Carrera, and the absence of large wings and other aerodynamic features. The inspiration apparently comes less from the GT3 than from the new Cayman GT4. Look for the new back-to-basics Elfen to arrive sometime next year, after the rest of the 911 range gets updated with turbo engines. Chances look good, though, that this particular model will stick with the atmospheric boxer six. Related Video:
